Although I can't have peanut butter anymore you gotta try the PB&J wings. Went with a friend and we had a Cheese board plus some Lobster Mac and cheese. I'll name some drinks but I'll also tell you the menu changes. Pirates pearl, delicious, Espresso Martini from both Becca and Derrick one was more sweet one was more coffee Based. My friend and her wife had Raspberry mojitos. This is a speakeasy hidden inside Wishbone and Flint. There is also a door outside you can find sorta easy. All the bartenders are fabulous but I always chat most and ask for Becca and Derek. It looks like you've stepped back in time when you walk in, don't worry you didn't break the matrix... it's just the Amber Room. My favorite spot in Fort Worth.

A hidden gem! Decided to try it out- found it and enjoyed ourselves. Great drinks AND great bartender. The atmosphere is definitely our vibe! Will go back!!

I came to this location last week with my OCA Dallas peep (Ify, O.). This is a great speakeasy, and I am so glad we stopped in! Fun facts: According to some accounts, the word speakeasy came from "speak-softly shops," illegal drinking establishments in England and Ireland in the 19th century. The name referenced the need for secrecy; customers were asked to speak quietly while inside to avoid detection. By the end of the century, speakeasy had come into usage in the United States. In a state raging with bar fanatics, DFW really does have something for everyone. If you're the type who likes things hush-hush, look no further than this awesome cocktail lounge. The cocktail lounge and huge spirits library feature a special collection of bourbon, whiskeys, scotch, mezcal, and tequila in inventive concoctions. Overall, this speakeasy has strong cocktails, great service, and great prices.

Drinks were okay for the price. Inside was filled with what I would assume was thrifted couches and chairs cute environment very dark! Super elevated food menu but we didn't get to try any

I was checking out some bars and breweries with my husband in the area when I realized how close I was to this bar! I've been wanting to check out this speakeasy for over a year. We got there right when it opened at 4pm on a Saturday, it was perfect since nobody was there. I LOVED the ambiance and atmosphere, it was very dark and cozy, private. Picked a spot to sit when then realized that you have to order drinks at the bar, didn't expect that since in every single speakeasy I've been to I had a server. Good thing that the place was empty otherwise I'm definitely not into that. I had 2 tequila cocktails, Johnny on the Spot and the other one I can't remember. My husband had a whiskey cocktail, the Aztec Old Fashioned, and a mezcal cocktail. Must say that both bartenders were very friendly and made delicious drinks. Will definitely go back to this bar.

The first time we came here was when we were waiting for dinner at wishbone and flint and our table wasn't ready. It was an unexpected but nice surprise. This time we chose to enter through the street to go and have a drink whilst in the area and as it was the day time it was quiet. It still has a cool vibe and the servers were friendly. My cocktail was delicious and my husband liked his old fashioned. We didn't have any food this time but we really like the bar and will be coming back soon.

Great ambiance! We love going here from time to time. This time I had an old fashioned which was very good and we also ordered steak skewers from the restaurant. The skewers were tender and flavorful. I would definitely recommend this place.

I love this place. You can feel the cozy vibes right when you walk in. the lighting and music were perfect. The bartenders are so friendly and talented. Even the other patrons were really friendly. The drinks were delicious. I ordered the Lavender Nuptials which was so good. I love gin lavender and citric abs this drink has all three. I defiantly will be back.

I love this Southside Speakeasy! You don't need a password to get in - and it feels really fun to 'discover' the secret door. Hubby and I met a few friends here and lucked out to find four comfy chairs right when we walked in. The interior is dark and is totally a speakeasy vibe. Obsessed! They have a list of cocktails that are fairly affordable and tasty. I ordered the Rib Old Fashioned and hubby ordered the Aztec Old Fashioned. They also have bar bites that you can order from the restaurant. I can't wait to come here more often and bring my family when they are in town next.

Adorable, vibey spot for really well made craft cocktails and some snacks. The hummus was great, the drinks were fabulous.

Took me entirely too long to check this place out! Nice speakeasy style bar attached to wishbone and flynt. Excellent adult vibe with classic decor and excellent friendly service. The space though small, is divided well to provide some privacy while still allowing multiple guests to enjoy, thoughtfully laid out. The drink choices feature a lot of whiskey based drinks which is a bonus for me and their small bites are suitable to pair. Theyre drinks are boozy so i forgot to take more photos after just one ;) but check out their Willy Nelson, summer special, and PLD. I didn't drink all those in one sitting BTW :p

What's the dress code? What music genre do they play there?

There is no dress code. Music is house jazz.

How do I get on the waitlist?

There is no waitlist or password. We are first come first serve.

How do we get the password?

You don't need the password. If you are in the restaurant, just head to the hallway, walk to the door and push it open. Don't be intimidated by what is on the door and push the door.

We poke our heads in (accidentally going through the exit door. the front door is well camouflaged) and just found a wonderful very chilled out bar. Haven't been to a speakeasy in a long time. It was dark lighting with ambient black lights and string lights to keep it dim but you wont struggle to see through. Music was not super loud and the chairs were incredibly comfortable and the whole place was laid out to just have drinks and lounge while talking with friends. No food, which is fine. You have plenty of options on the same block for that. This place is just for drinks and conversation. The seasonal menu was awesome. It iss a bar so they of course can make anything you request if you don't want a specialty cocktail. I got my favorite, a moscow mule but they had a brazilian mule on the specialty menu. I never had that before and ordered it on the spot. It was grapefruit vodka with lime, lots of fine pellett nugget ice (the really good kind) with ginger beer and condensed milk. My god it was great, they told me how they made it because i never saw milk added to this before. It was a delicious limeade that almost was slushy like, creamy and with tangy vodka. Plus they actually served it in a proper copper mug. Best mixed drink ive had period and a cool twist on my favorite standard moscow mule. The place is now going to become a frequent haunt for us. Its very laid back, relaxed, with fantastic ambiance. It doesn't get jammed packed and is not meant to get wild in. We went there around 7pm on a friday night with about 8 or so others already there with their drinks. It did pick up later with 15-20 people in there but still spacious and comfortable. It genuinely was just a nice bar to have drinks and conversations with friends. Nice music that isn't too loud so you can talk with normal voice levels. The bartenders we had were super nice and charismatic. The drinks were not expensive, a respectable 13 bucks for my mule. If you have a bill over 40 dollars they automatically add 20% gratuity to it so keep that in mind when you are tipping. And after 8pm everything had 20% gratuity added to the bill. But the service is so damn good that you will probably still want to tip on top of that anyways. I loved it so much i actually made a yelp account just to post a review. TLDR super cool speakeasy type joint, cool aesthetics and laundry theme. Not loud, good for drinks and chit chat, cool well crafted specialty cocktails that don't break the bank. Good bartenders. Good times. Cozy seats that encourage you to hang out and talk even with folks you haven't met before and dim without being dark lighting. Clean bathroom too and quick charismatic service. Hit this place up for sure even just for the novelty of it. It was a wonderful surprise bar for a date night. Pro tip for this area in general. all paid parking, some place validates some do not, i am unsure if they do here but there is paid parking right out front and also a paid lot literally across the street. But i don't even bother. About a block and a half away northeast is a big shopping complex with a target. i just park there for free and walk. its a short nice walk and doesn't cost 20 bucks.

The noise level was extremely high...we literally had to yell just to have a conversation with each other. Service was also very slow. It took about 15 minutes just to be acknowledged at the bar, and close to 30 minutes to actually receive a drink. When I finally ordered, I told the bartender to make her favorite drink. She made something that included raw egg whites (which I later learned is common in certain cocktails), but it wasn't mentioned or explained at the time. A few hours later, I became very sick...vomiting and dealing with what felt like severe food poisoning all night and through the next 24 hours. After looking into it, I suspect it may have been related to the raw egg used in the drink. Just something to be aware of if you're ordering drinks like a whiskey sour or anything that may include egg whites. After getting our receipt (which you need for the speakeasy entry code), we checked out the speakeasy portion, but the vibe there wasn't great either..pretty must the same as the other part of the bar. We ended up leaving within about five minutes. Overall, the experience didn't live up to the hype for us....between the noise, long wait times, and how we were treated, it just wasn't enjoyable. For comparison, the bar next door, Archibald, felt much more welcoming. Maybe regulars have a different experience, but as first-time guests, we were not impressed.

But from the very first phone call, Sophie at Blackland Distillery showed nothing but grace and patience. When we finally arrived, what could've been a ruined evening turned into one of the most memorable nights we've had. Every single person we encountered at Blackland was incredibly kind and welcoming. Marshall greeted us with warmth, and Jeremy? He's not just a bartender--he's a cocktail artist. The drinks he crafted for us were next-level, easily some of the best we've ever had.
