Beautiful, clean spacious resort with a load of amenities. The staff is friendly, helpful & responsive. The other glampers are welcoming and friendly. There are activities galore and the pool snack bar/bar hosts live music 2-3 days a wk during the winter season 1-4pm. The menu at the snack bar offers plenty of lunch options and is pretty darn good & well priced. There are dinner dances for owners & renters alike, theres poker, game nights, bocce ball, shuffle board, karaoke, pool & hot tub, billards, a sm library, fitness room and so much more. read more

Not a place to stay for families with children or teenagers. Some residents act like they own the park, are intrusive and rude to guests. We felt like we didn't belong there and unwelcome. We left a day early due to the negative of the atmosphere at the pool. We would have left sooner, but we couldn't since payment was made in advance and we wouldn't get a refund for it. Families deserve to know that this community is for OLDER ADULTS ONLY before making a reservation. Appart from the attitude of some of the snow birds, the park is beautiful and clean. The water at the pool is at a perfect temperature. The hot tub is really nice. The staff members were friendly and welcoming. read more

December 2021 We have a 35-foot Class A motorhome with reservations for 1 night. Upon check-in, we were told there is no internet to the sites. The only internet is at the clubhouse or the privately owned sites. We agree we can live without internet for 1 night and get escorted to Site 223. Upon arrival at our site, we should have realized Silver Palms was not a good park to stay at. 1. To get to our site, we are escorted pass the lovely lake with the beautiful water fountain and through the 'owner-sites' that are nicely landscaped. We eventually come upon an open field with no trees and no landscaping. Our site, along with all the other rental sites are in the field. 2. They provide nothing at the site. Just a paved pad to park on. No picnic table or other type of table or chairs. Yes, we had electricity, water, and sewer. 3. Once at the site, we're told by the escort the sites also do not have cable for TV. 4. The pictures posted here are not of Silver Palms RV Resort. The field for the renter RV's have brick pavers, not cement pads. Obviously, brick pavers are an upgrade from cement pads, but these pictures represent false advertisement. No internet and no TV hookup. WE WANT A REFUND as this is certainly not 'as advertised'. Unfortunately, their policy, as most RV parks, is no refunds for what they call an 'early check-out'. Early check-out??? We never even hooked up our motorhome!! We advise them to carefully study Hilton Head Motorcoach RV Resort as Hilton Head is LOADED with amenities, and the cost is the same as Silver Palms. WE WILL NEVER COME BACK TO SILVER PALMS AND HOPE YOU'LL LEARN FROM OUR BAD EXPERIENCE. read more

Lots of wonderful activities. The full time site owners are just as engaged with the temporary renters are they are with their own group. spotless facilities with dinner dancers every Sat night and a chef who prepares several meals a week. the owners keep their lots beautifully landscaped. The man and women who run the place are a bit uptight but that may be coming from cooperate. read more

It would be a ten if it had wifi that worked and cable TV. Without that I'd not return again. Just gorgeous grounds, landscaping along with excellent clubhouse, pickleball courts and beautiful swimming pool and activities. Local area is not much with many low grade trailer parks and skimpy shopping. Not much in history or cultural interest. The other visitors and life style make this a special place. They really need to do something with the TV and wifi. read more

Looks are nice, but an elite site is what you want to avoid. the clubhouse is extremely loud with music, so loud that while watching TV inside the RV, the music is heard inside! supposed to have a quiet time at 10PM...not so much, more 00:30 AM. and don't you dare to leave your dog in the RV and go shopping during the day, if the dog barks, expect a phone call ... barely could hear the dog bark outside the RV unless you are real close to the RV. Not worth the +$110 a night. read more

Good news: beautiful grounds Bad news: 1) Made reservations 7 months in advance to rent a specific owners lot for 1 month. Showed up and were told "we have to move you". No apologies, no refund. 2) General Manager unwilling to help us out. 3) We were moved 3 times in 1 month 4) Pool and/or hot tub heater was broken most of the month 5) WIFI was a joke. Unable to log on most of the time. Would not return as long as current management is in place. Didn't get what we paid for and found out that it has happened to others as well. read more
