In the last year, we have got a bedroom set and looking at a couch right now. Local biz with low overhead due to minimal staff and industrial location with small showroom. They have some items in the small warehouse and then a catalog to look at the rest. The turnaround time is fairly quick, within a week or so to get your order. When it comes in, you come by the warehouse and load it up and take it home. The quality is pretty good and looks like it does , if not a little better, in person vs catalog. I'd say quality and style is mid range. Price is pretty decent. Tim is easy to work with and has made it a pleasant enough experience to continue shopping there, especially if you aren't the type to enjoy going to ten furniture stores to shop around. There is all sorts of furniture from living to outdoor. Updated as of June 2020: I thought I already posted this but I guess I forgot to finish. We have since got a couch and had ordered a guest bed. The couch is nice and Tim helped us design the pieces to fit our space. When they arrived less than two weeks after ordering, we got them home and found one sectional piece brackets not matching with the rest. We held on to the piece while Tim contacted the manufacturer. Another two weeks perhaps and the corrected piece arrived. Tim just let us keep the spare piece and we went and collected the last sectional piece, which had the correct bracket to match it with the other pieces. While we were picking up our couch piece l, we found a very reasonable and cute guest bed and nightstand. Put in an order to find out a week or two later that it still wasn't available, which happens sometimes because the business relies on manufacturer direct shipments and we were in the middle of the covid crisis. We waited a week or so more to see if it might become available. Unfortunately, there was no date as to when or if the manufacturer would have it available so we cancelled our order and requested a refund. Tim refunded us right away with no questions asked. We will continue to do as much business as we can with him and appreciate him always helping us out. read more

So I meant it was a good deal and all, but now not even a year later our bed frame broke. We bought a bed frame at MOR. The chest, 6 drawers, and side table are still holding up, but the 6 drawer piece looks a little droopy. But I can cover the wood in the inside that is showing a tiny bit with black paint... overall...i think its better to spend more money somewhere else.. like MORE or RC Wiley. Following and Replying to Justin Z's review. I was NOT happy with my purchase here so you can let me speak for myself. The nightstand was damaged on the top right hand corner NOT the leg, if you listened to the many phone calls during your very minimal business hours you would remember that. I ordered this furniture and was told I could get delivery turns out I couldn't. I am 7 months pregnant and told by the owner that I was to pick up the furniture and deliver it myself! I had my brother help me where the employee was extremely rude to him and the owner denied it even though he wasn't there. I then got the furniture damaged, the owner wanted me to pay extra to come and get the broken one and it took several conversations to finally get him to give me a refund. My father had to call before he was willing to do that, so that's also false. He was rude, raised his voice and had a defensive attitude and response to EVERYTHING. He told my father it wasn't his responsibility to come and get the old one and that I should have to then go out of my way again, a 20 minute drive, and put myself in danger to do so. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. This is the photo of the "minimal damage". A nightstand that is $110 best not come with a giant chunk taken out of it. read more

We were looking for a king size bed and looked several other places. Silver State Furniture had what we wanted and at a great price. They promised to deliver on Friday and they did. They took time move the one bedroom set to another room and set up the new one. Then removed the boxes making sure everything was in great shape. We purchased a sectional less than a year ago. Originally when we picked it up, one of the power recliners had a broken footrest. The product is very cheap, there was a piece of fabric covered plywood supporting the foot rest area. We contacted the owner and he offered to give us $300 back from our original price if we wanted to repair it ourselves, mind you this sectional arrived this way. We refused and requested it be replaced. Since he gets his merchandise from overseas, this took approximately 3 months, (which is interesting since the original sectional came very quickly, even sooner then we were told it would). Then he refused to take back the broken seat, so we had to dispose of it. There is also a spot on the center cup holder that the stitching broke, but unless we pull the thread and knot it, which causes puckering we have just learned to live with it. Now jump ahead 7 months and the other power recliner, which has always made noise in the process of reclining, had stuffing coming out the side of the foot rest. Upon inspection, there is a tear in the fabric under the footrest and the padding is coming out. We thought the merchandise was quality, but in hindsight Costco offers a better price and quality, with white glove delivery and easy return policy. BUYER BEWARE, this furniture is not worth the money. Before purchasing the sectional, we had purchased a fireplace wall unit, we later saw the exact unit at Mor for $300 less. read more

If I can give this place 0 stars I would. My fiancé and I bought a sectional back in August 2018 for our new place to move in October 2018. First off, when we made the appointment and bought the couch we were set up for delivery. We gave him the address and told him when our move in date was. We even mentioned it was an apartment and he told us they only delivered to the first floor, which was perfect because that is where our unit is. A week before move in I contacted him to find out what time it would be delivered so someone would be home and he said we had to pick it up. We were LIVID. Aside from that, we loved the couch when we first got it! The only downfall was trying to take the cushion for the ottoman out, the seam ripped because it was so hard to remove. It is now February and we have only had the couch for only 4 months and it is ripping at the seams EVERYWHERE. We are rarely home since we both work 7am-6pm and do not use the couch as often as a normal family would. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! Spend the extra $300-$400 and go somewhere else where the furniture lasts. read more

This furnature is just junk I bought a dinning room set and bedroom set. When putting it together on one chair the bolt protruded thru the wood and torn the cheap finish off. The table has cardboard backing then a cheap wood vieneer finish the cardboard pulled right of the wood finish just because of the weight of the leg and it also pulled the three screws out. Save your money and buy from a store that will take returns. Silver state furnature does not allow returns because everyone would take the crap back. read more

The furniture I ordered from here is less than desirable. First off the bedroom set we saw in the catalog showed up almost a completely different color, our recliner is made so cheaply that the pieces were practically bending as we put it together and 2 months into having it it has completely bent and sits sideways now. The couches are not standard size, I would say they were made for very small people who live in a very small house. I suppose if I had read the dimensions I would have known that. I will say the coffee and end tables I was happy with although they did not look anything like the pictures we were shown either. Our mattress is great but the brand we ordered was not what was delivered to our house (which was more than a week overture btw) For spending close to 4grand I am very disappointed and would not recommend Silver State to anyone in the future. read more

We went to order a sectional and the guy had horrible customer service because he would answer his phone right in the middle of my sentence..... and then he said we would get our sectional delievered on Thursday and when I called Thursday night he said Friday morning..... Friday morning came along and we called again and he said he didn't know when it was coming and I was concered when it was going to come but then he went on saying he didn't care about my business and that there are soooo many other people in line waiting to buy the sectional so he will refund my money because my money was nothing. Bought out bedroom set from here 2 years ago and everything is still great. It's all real pine- not the compressed wood. We did add extra slats to the bed frame otherwise the cross bars didn't support the box spring fully. for the price, we couldn't beat the quality. Price is ok, but if quality is what you're looking for, go elsewhere. We bought a bedroom set and a small sofa from Silver State about 6 months ago. One of the legs on the sofa broke and the headboard on the bed broke too! We DON'T even use the sofa much. The brown covering on the wood is peeling off on the chest and nightstand. I deeply regret buying furniture from them. I have furniture from Ashleys that's lasted us over five years with no damage! When I told the owner about the issue with the sofa, which occurred a couple of weeks after purchase, he did not believe me and told me the sofa was in perfect condition when it left his store. I was unable to take it back to the store since I could not carry it by myself. Now I'm stuck with crappy furniture. read more

This place is absolutely fantastic. It is not a traditional furniture store and should not be compared to RC Willey or Mor in any way because this is a factory direct business. It is absolutely wonderful because you can order the brands without paying full price. I bought a leather sectional for $1000.00 and it retailed for $2500.00 at RC Willey- same brand, color, exact same sectional. Many of the brands available here are also the brands that retail at Macy's Furniture store. A wonderful gem to get nice furniture for below market value prices. read more
