Little tight but manageable. It's just for the night. The restrooms are nice simple but very clean and well maintained. Will be taking a shower here in a bit. Nice little office store with some local art and trinkets. Ice cream and sodas available for purchase. There is also a Welcome museum and walking tour. It is very close off the freeway yet far enough to block some of the major noise. Occasionally you hear a trucker running the rumble strip but that's it. The grass is well maintain the trees are big. There's a beautiful little creek that runs adjacent to it, but the wind and the trees at night were just spectacular. We didn't use the bathroom facilities, so I can't applaud that, but the people were just sweet and everything about this place says come back. Wish every little RV park was like this one. This is our second visit in five years and you never know, but if anything it's gotten better. The staff is wonderful. The cookies on the windshield this morning were just a super treat that I had forgotten happened here. They've checked all the boxes. You won't be disappointed.

Chance is truly the guru of these systems. He did some troubleshooting to get me pointed in the right direction, then helped my to complete the upgrade properly. These systems are VERY complicated, but work incredibly well when configured properly. There is nothing fancy about this park. It is older, and could use some TLC. We stayed for one…read morenight in a pull through site with full hook-ups, and had a fairly quiet night. That's all we really needed, and everything worked without issues. Upon arrival, the office was closed. I called the number on the door and the person said she would be back to the office later and would settle up with me on my check in reservation then. I had prepaid online when I reserved the site, so this contact was to just close the loop I guessed. I watched for a car at the office, but she came by in a golf cart before I was able to walk over. She was friendly and handed me the rules of the park. The roads and sites are all gravel/dirt. The weeds are growing, so I was careful about walking my dog off the roadways. There were many long term residents in the park with a few overnight spots up front. There are several trees that overhang sites and roads to watch out for as you drive through and park. There are not many options in Wells, so I'd probably choose this location again if I'm in the area.

I thank god for out transportation system, but fell I should have been warned I was almost sleeping on the side of the tracks! Mostly, full time, lots of old rigs, picnic tables were old, paint peeling and wood warped ... sorry but I felt no pride here ... never checked the facilities, so no comment... Very convenient to the hi-way and a a Flying J
