When I saw the Oakbrook Center mall directory, I was stoked to see Paper Source and that it was open until 9pm on a Monday evening. I naturally had to come in to check out the selection. It's dangerously addicting and it was hard to control myself from wanting to take the store with me. I came in wanting to see what I can get last minute for others but ended up spoiling myself -- self care, right. I found a cute journal that's good for up to 3 years, and it's a daily question you answer about self care which I think is truly necessary in these trying times. I can use some daily affirmations, and then I found these cute narwhal pens so I had to get them too. The staff were friendly and available as needed. I love that I wasn't upsold anything, I wasn't followed around, and I was given the space to do my thing. When I had questions the two ladies were more than happy to assist me, though they couldn't find an item I was looking for, I still appreciate their efforts and how they worked together. It's one of the better experiences I've had in person at Paper Source. I also wasn't pressured to sign up for anything. I do have to say that the Paper Source location I've been to in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood does have a bigger selection than this one. However, the brand and this location is still pretty consistent, it just doesn't have everything and if they do it's in smaller quantities. I do recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for stationery items, greeting cards etc.

They tell me they cancelled my order and didn't have ny size. It was a one size fits all, but okay. Then they tell me they are sold out when I ask about other options. Before ordering I call to ask, explaining That I had tried to purchase a costume yesterday but when I came for pick up I was told they were sold out. He took a moment to look and said they had one left, nd I asked if you they could hold it. He said there were no holds during Halloween and I could order it on line. I explained when I tried that they put my order back. He said I could order on on line but it would mess up their inventory. At this point its ridiculous, But because I'm desperate to take pictures with my one year old during a year when we haven't been able to do anything I decide to just try to run in, thankfully his grandmother could watch him. I arrive and inquire about the costume and its at the register, great! But wait! This costume is $10 more than the one on line because its for a woman ( totally not the employees fault but eff you corporate) I get to the car and pull it out to take a look, and it's a plus size costume, it should be medium. WTF. So I spend $10 more for costume that won't fit me, and that I can't return, after having to go to the store twice. Im going to wash and dry hoping it shrinks but Jesus Christ Halloween City thanks for making this whole experience suck. Fix your effing inventory, stop charging more for womans costumes, and if your manager fucks up have them use some common sense to make it right. 0 stars if I could. So, last Saturday we went out with VIP bachelorette for my best friend bachelorette party. I have…read moretried several place to work out a limo and few attractions and it was all a bit pricey. However, I then called VIP and last minute booked a party for 11. They are very accommodating and well within a price range. I purchased the Girl's Night Out Ultimate Package! We arrived to meet everyone at the first location and they took a picture for our group, they also gave the bride a little welcoming package, tiara, and a boa. Then round of shots and drink for the bride was awesome as well. We then got on the shuttle bus, which is much nicer than I expected (GREAT JOB VIP) and went to a show and two other bars. My friends had a blast, I definitely feel you get you monies worth! You never had to feel like there was a dull moment, if your with good company well the package is fun as well and full of surprises and drinks! The customer service was very helpful and the driver was courteous as well! You never had to feel like you were unprepared or stressed out. They did a great job of getting that done! :) I was very satisfied and would definitely book again with them for other event (girls night, they even have VIP bachelor - I heard). If you are confused at what to do or you've read the review, I would definitely recommend VIP! :)
