It's dangerously addicting and it was hard to control myself from wanting to take the store with me. I came in wanting to see what I can get last minute for others but ended up spoiling myself -- self care, right. I found a cute journal that's good for up to 3 years, and it's a daily question you answer about self care which I think is truly necessary in these trying times. I can use some daily affirmations, and then I found these cute narwhal pens so I had to get them too. The staff were friendly and available as needed. I love that I wasn't upsold anything, I wasn't followed around, and I was given the space to do my thing. When I had questions the two ladies were more than happy to assist me, though they couldn't find an item I was looking for, I still appreciate their efforts and how they worked together. It's one of the better experiences I've had in person at Paper Source. I also wasn't pressured to sign up for anything. I do have to say that the Paper Source location I've been to in Chicago's Lincoln Park neighborhood does have a bigger selection than this one. However, the brand and this location is still pretty consistent, it just doesn't have everything and if they do it's in smaller quantities. This costume is $10 more than the one on line because its for a woman ( totally not the employees fault but eff you corporate) I get to the car and pull it out to take a look, and it's a plus size costume, it should be medium. WTF. So I spend $10 more for costume that won't fit me, and that I can't return, after having to go to the store twice. Im going to wash and dry hoping it shrinks but Jesus Christ Halloween City thanks for making this whole experience suck. Fix your effing inventory, stop charging more for womans costumes, and if your manager fucks up have them use some common sense to make it right. 0 stars if I could. I was surprised as I had mentioned on the phone that the tent was partially covering a patio, and no concerns were raised. I understand if this was my mistake, but called right away to switch to a 20x20 tent that would fit entirely on the grass. I appreciate that I was only charged a $25 tent change fee, but I still had to pay the full price for the 20x30 tent, even though I was getting the smaller one. This was because the tent had been put as "unavailable" only 12 hours before. That was a $100 difference. On top of that, I was charged another delivery and setup fee, even though the original tent was never set up. I may have made a mistake here, but it feels like the situation was taken advantage of. The setup team was the best part of the whole experience.
