Our gang of 8 gals had our "glamping planning meeting" on Saturday and all are excited to get away to our fav spot for floating, gourmet dinners & crafting projects in the coveted group site next to the boat launch. We've been doing the same spot, same time in July for over 10 years. Grounds well landscaped, watered lawns, clean restrooms (even though we order a porta-potty for ourselves). One pal and I stay up late to look for shooting stars over the lake (often see cuz no 'city lights'). Water & power at some sites (certainly the group site) is a huge bonus as is ice for sale at the office. This private campground won't disappoint!! read more

Our family has been going to Silverline Resort every memorial weekend for over 20 years. When we left this last Memorial Day, we went to the office to re-book our sites. My father-in-law, following the instructions of the employee behind the counter, wrote "memorial weekend 2027" in the date section of the card. Just this last week, we received a call for confirmation of our dates, which fall after memorial weekend. The employee stated our sites were given to the next person for memorial weekend. My FIL (and his cousin) both tried to speak to someone about this situation, and were met with rudeness and total unwillingness to try and remedy the situation. The employee on the phone stated that we didn't write the specific dates, even though we were following the employees directions. We've been concerned for the last few years at the reservation process ("just write your info on this card") for the resort, and this year it shows. After over 20 years of memories, we're absolutely devastated to know we have lost our sites. In reading the reviews, we are not the only ones this has happened to. read more

its fun, me and my friend liv are camping and there is a lake with beach there is a shop up on top with snacks its just really fun.

I wanted to be really impressed and have a good camping time at this resort as it was recommended to me and we have always liked the Winthrop area. Although there were extenuating circumstances because of the fires in the area, we were definitely unimpressed with our accommodations as far as our campsite goes. Let me start with customer service, which doesn't appear to be available at this place even when you're talking to the woman at the front desk when you check in. She's very cold and not interested in making you feel welcome or anything else. Yes the air quality was horrible when I called a couple days ahead of us arriving. The two times that I called within 24 hours of arrival they told me the air quality was good. the air quality was at least at 90 which is not considered good at the time we got there it had jumped to 178. We both have asthma, so that meant no going outside to do anything which we were fine with at that point although honesty would've been nice and a more accurate description if it was actually going on, that would've been nice. Then less than 24 hours into it a brown out occurs in their area in fact, in an extensive area. When I went up to the front desk to ask why things were working in our RV she said well we're having a brown out. And said go ahead and use your generator which, of course we didn't bring with us thinking why would this happen. And she then proceeded to tell us oh, this is happened before. Would've been nice to know that as well. Anyway, we ended up leaving less than 24 hours from when We got there when our intention was to stay until the next Monday that wasn't gonna happen. So I went to the front desk again and nicely asked if I could get a partial refund as this is out of our control and we didn't exactly get an honest explanation of what was going on in the area regarding air quality. not to mention the meth lab wanna be Almost next to us. Of course, she said well. This is out of our control know all of what I was talking about was not out of their control. They refused to give us any kind of a refund at all especially when we paid for five nights there ahead of time. I will never ever ever go back to this place, or recommend it to anybody. In fact, I might even go out of my way and tell people how awful it is other than that our day turned out great And we found a different place to camp in a much nicer area with much more friendly front desk people read more

Went to Silverline resort for the first time, the resort is beautiful please don't misunderstand that. We were there one day, had been awake for about an hour or so and we had no water, my husband went to check our connection and it was fine, only to find out that the park had an unexpected water line break, no one warned us that they were shutting down the water to make the repair, would have been very easily done since there was not many of us in the park at this time. So we deal with no water, totally understandable, right? They fix it , turn back on the water but dont communicate that "oh by the way, might be a good idea to unhook your connection to your rigs, all of a sudden a neighbor came over to us and said we had water pouring out, went and turn everything off un hook the hose only to go into the rig to find water everywhere, got towel soaked up all the water, now the toliet won't quit running find that the pressure had broke a piece off the valve that keeps our toliet from running, so get that fixed only to find out our pump won't work, so I went to let the office know about it, she was so defensive and blames us for not having a regulator on our connection and that her maintenance person was only one person, I explained I was only letting her know that communication would have been really nice so this wouldn't have happened, she very bluntly said , so what are you looking for? Are you looking to be paid? I left at that point and said obviously my asking for cummincation was going no where. We loved staying there but if this is what there management is like and handles things I think we will look into staying at the state park when we go back. We have been going to Silverline RV Resort in Winthrop WA for 22 years. It has consistently been our "happy place". Upon our arrival at the resort in April 2023, we learned that it had been sold to a married couple from CA. Based on the consistently negative interactions we had with the owners, we can share that that they possess zero customer service skills and that they are confrontational and inhospitable. If their goal is to drive away long-time customers and destroy all that is special about this resort, then they are well on their way to succeeding, as was seen with some of the long-time customers who chose to cut their stays short. Below are only a few of the negative experiences that we were subjected to/observed during our stay: * When we made our reservation in May 2022, the charge for our stay was $600. When we arrived for our stay, we were told the charge for the stay had increased to $1,600. We were angry and stunned. An increase of that magnitude should have been CLEARLY communicated to us both verbally and in writing. Not doing so is deceptive and demonstrates a complete lack of integrity. After much protesting on our part, we ended up paying $900 for our stay. * The grounds are in bad shape. We have never witnessed this before. The Owner's priorities are not in alignment with the upkeep that is required for a RV resort. * On the third night of our stay, the Owner decided to begin work in the site next to us and in the area directly behind our RV. The work began at 5:10 pm and went on until 6:30 pm. It involved using a large tractor that was very loud, kicked up a lot of dust and spewed a foul smelling exhaust. At 5:40 pm, we asked him to stop so that we could prepare our dinner (barbecue) and sit outside and enjoy the evening. He mocked us and refused to stop the work. We were forced to close our windows/door, sit inside our RV, and delay barbecuing our dinner. * Seven days into our stay, the Owner started a project that involved our water and sewer hook-ups. We could easily overhear the conversation he was having with park staff. Due to the work involved, a staff member suggested the project wait until we vacated the site. The Owner's response was "I don't give a f*ck about them" and "Maybe this will get them to leave the Resort". * The owner was obsessed with a burn pile. For the most part, it smoldered 24 hours a day. At the end of the day, between 5 pm and 8 pm, the owner would add piles of green tree boughs, cardboard boxes, tree branches and tree limbs to the pile, which then created a thick smoke. Depending upon the wind direction, the thick smoke forced RV'ers to close windows/doors and retreat inside during the evening when they were trying to barbecue, eat outside or just sit outdoors and relax. On the 12th night of our stay, at 8:30 PM, there were strong wind gusts which caused the burn pile to flare up and large embers were blowing around. The burn pile is very near a large pile of wood chips. Concerned it could result in a fire, we called 911. The fire department extinguished the burn pile and informed the owner that burn piles must be constantly monitored, they must be fully extinguished before dark, and they cannot be located near other combustibles, such as the pile of wood chips. The Owner's blatant disregard for fire safety in the fire prone area of Winthrop is appalling. * On the 14th day of our stay, a Friday at 4:15 pm, the owners kicked us out of the park and informed us we had an hour to get out, or they would call the Sheriff. Our "crime" was in sharing our negative experiences/observations with other campers, many of whom we have known for 2+ decades. That same evening, the Owners warned three other long-time customers to keep their mouths shut. Apparently, freedom of speech is now prohibited at Silverline Resort. In 30 years of RV'ing, we have stayed at many RV parks and resorts all over the western/southwestern U.S. Throughout these years, we have NEVER been subjected to the abysmal treatment/harassment that we encountered under the new ownership of Silverline RV Resort. read more

With fires consistently every summer we unfortunately couldn't even make it out there with 20 closed and asthma issues. Please be advised that they will not take this into consideration in thier cancellation policies. Unless they are evacuating you will be charged in full. If you don't want to camp in the smoke don't risk making a reservation, there's no flexibility. read more

I think this is a great, clean, campground. The business is run smoothly with clean showers, wifi, docks, recreational rentals like paddle boats and put put gold, and well watered, green glass. I was pleasantly surprised to find this place a few weeks ago and can't wait to come back. I didn't think the sites were that crowded, and most of the people I was around last time were really polite and nice. If you are able to swim off the fishing dock (for non-children) it was safe, a bit rocky, but traditional lake--mud wasn't an issue either. There's a reason this place books a year in advance--it's awesome. read more

We enjoyed ourselves knowing what to expect. This is not a quiet secluded camp ground. It is full in the summer and most spots are pretty close together. That said its a cute clean place. Well tended grass, fire pits at each site, water spigot shared at tent sites. Almost all spots except 37 have decent shade. There is seperate boat trailer parking. The lake is busy and chilly but finding a spot for our stuff wasn't an issue. During the summer I wouldn't plan on fishing lake side other than first thing or off of a boat. Too many Littles splashing around. The bathrooms were small but clean. There are only three stalls and three showers but with so many rv sites we never had to wait in line. They need more hooks.....my kingdom for some hooks!!! Going to shower was a bizarre balancing act to try and keep things off the wet floor, I'm sure a trapeze act was involved. I would also say that the air flow in there is very poor so they are always verrrrry warm, like trekking through a rain forest in 90 degree weather. They are up or down steps and were a little tough for my mom who uses a cane often. Going into town we left all our gear including tackle and nothing was ever disturbed. I glanced at the minigolf and assumed that it was the first minigolf ever made, created back in the days of wyatt earp, we decided to let that old dog lie untouched. The resort is so close to Winthrop you could easily bicycle in. Their little store was quaint and clean and had fun things for the Littles to buy with their quarters. It was cheap. That's the positive. Sites are right on top of each other and there's more screaming kids than you shake a stick at. Limited beach access and once you were in it was knee deep in soupy mud. Business is well run and the bathrooms are clean. I can't bash the business, but it just wasn't my type of place to enjoy. read more

What a gem! Silverline resort is located directly on the shore of beautiful Lake Pearrygin in Washington's North Cascade region. There are lots of choices of campsites, from tent sites to "Big Rig" full hook-up RV pull-thrus. Fish for rainbow trout right from the shore or from the resort's docks. There is also a boat launch ramp, so you can bring your boat for fishing or water skiing. The camp store is well-equipped and the park is perfect for families looking for summer fun. Silverline RV Resort is a great family campground. Situated on Lake Pearrygin just outside of Winthrop the resort offers many attractions for the young and young at heart. From swimming, fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, peddle boats and jet ski rental from a local business. You can bring your own boat and launch here then tie it up on the beach for the duration of your stay. There are 14 FHU sites and 5 pull thru FHU. On the grass they have partial hook up sites with shared water and power and lots of tent sites. And there is a common grass area for setting up games or a good game of catch or volleyball. On the weekends they offer an all-you-can-eat pancake and sausage breakfast for $5.00. And the bathhouse if exceptionally clean. There are people who have been coming here for over 15-20 years. If you are looking for a place to just chill or a family get away try Silverline Resort, you won't regret it. But get your reservation in early. One thing this place has going for it, it is popular. read more

Our stay at Silverline was not by choice, but design by a friend who was hosting a hunting party. I was reluctant to book there when I found out there were very few full-hookup spots and that the entire resort was "tiered", which meant a lot of turns and up and downhilll roadways...when you're pulling a full size trailer (28 feet), level ground is a Godsend. We arrived to find out our friend had "changed" our reservation and moved us next them...despite my insistence when booking that I didn't want to "share" utilities (which meant both sites had power, but it was first come first serve on the water and a splitter had to be acquired from the office apparently so two spots could share the same spigot). It was disappointing that the office didn't call or consult us before simply allowing our friend to do this. When we arrived, NO ONE was at the office, there was just a note on the door w/ our spot info and a request that we return after 4 pm to pay. We had to find our way to our spot using their map, which meant down the first big hill, then winding our way all the way to the bottom of the resort. We did get hooked up and set up fine, then made our way up to find the bathrooms (the spot we were in had no sewer hookup so knowing we would be spending 4 days there, we wanted to ensure our tanks would not be over taxed needlessly. Problem is, there is only one community bathroom area, and it was half way across the resort. It was clean though, which is always a plus, though not very modern and very poorly lit (at least in the ladies room). We went to the office and paid and the office area is pretty nice, quaint, I would say. Our stay was fairly uneventful, though the weather was ugly and we ended up w/ tree branches littering our spot, as well as one large one that came down and narrowly missed our trailer. We were also wholly unimpressed that the only entrance and exit roads do not allow other vehicles to pass each other. Let me explain. There is but one entrance into the resort and after stopping at the office, a one lane road w/ very specific directional guidelines, is the way through...unfortunately, the dump station happens to be on the ONLY road out and when anyone is stopped there, there is absolutely no way around them, so either you have to wait, or drive all the way back through the resort to try and escape through the uphill entrance road, and hope no one is trying to come in. It was the end of our stay at Silverline that found us deciding we will likely not make a return stay. First, winding our way down to our site was nothing compared to the climb all the way back up, pulling that full size trailer and trying to make a turn that ended up requiring a back-up and try again, because there are trees that hug both sides of the road. And that dump station? It's on a hill, so you can't even fully dump (we had to dump again at our storage site). There is a mini golf outside the resort, that is badly in need of repair and a huge gravel lot in front of it, why the dump station is not located there, I have no idea. Because check out is by noon, the majority of travelers try to leave prior to 10 am...the majority, which means you have to wait, and wait, and wait...while all the others in line dump their tanks and their trash, because there is just that ONE road out. Had we been able to escape we would have done so and simply waited to dump when we got home, but going over the mountains wanted to lighten our load...it added considerable time to our travel schedule and we had to get back over the mountains early, as a winter storm hit and had already piled up over 4" of snow on the pass. While the resort was quiet, and offered fishing docks on Lake Pearrygin, I wouldn't choose to stay there again... read more

It is a pleasant setting no matter what you camp in. It is set in a beautiful meadow on a beautiful little lake. The owners are super great people and very helpful and friendly. We normally take our RV to the coast for vacation and we tried Silverline for a change of pace and since then we try to come back every year whether it is with our motorhome or in a tent. The restroom facility is clean and well cared for, sites are well groomed. Wish there was more dock space for fishing, but it is adequate, also wish there were more pull through sites as it is real hard to get a pull through site booked. The managers are great to work with and they do a everything they can to make your stay a good. We have not tried the Wagon Wheel Breakfast yet but maybe this year. read more

We moved here from Big Twin Lake after one night there. It would be better called Big Algae Pond RV. No swimming did not work for our 4yo grandson. Silver line is on a much larger lake which takes care of the algae problem but introduces another: motor boats and jet skis noise. Otherwise, the park is nicely laid out on the west end of the lake withs two small docks and a very small a dedicated swimming area. Lots of grass and trees. Free wifi throughout the park.
