I have been going to Silvertree Dental 3 times a year for the past several years. It was a great place to go until the new ownership came it. They talked me into a procedure that I was really against because I knew it would be expensive. They gave me a quote and I reluctantly agreed. A few weeks after the procedure, I get a bill for over twice the amount that was quoted. After quite a few phone calls back and for, they had decided to take care of the extra charges. I thought that would be the last i heard from this place. Nope. I have not heard from them in months until this week. I just received a bill in the mail from them for unknown charges, with interest. I have not had service from this place in probably 9 months. Where did these new charges come from? This is my biggest complaint about this business, their billing department. read more

Both child and spouse went to Silvertree, both have had pain after every procedure when they had no pain before. We paid upfront out of pocket for all procedures our insurance also paid them, we have been waiting for over two months for our reimbursement for the services, (several hundred dollars.) They have blocked my number, refused to answer emails have shown proof of overpayment will not speak with us, I have received one e-mail saying how nice they have been and that they returned calls, I have proof they have not. Please find an honest Dentist office. read more

This dentistry right by where I live so made a quick appointment. The front desk people are a little cold but the doctors, hygienists are friendly. Everything is very good about this dentistry. It was my second appointment today and it was smooth, perfect. Only thing I don't understand is advertising and asking you to buy a mouth wash even if you don't want one. I mean it's funny, it's just not this dentistry but every other I have been to. What do they get of that $18 mouthwash, I don't understand. I said no the first appointment and in this appointment they just billed me without even telling me. That's the only reason I am going with a 3 star review. Everyone is very good with their work and let you know honestly about the teeth issues. I would still visit the dentist but not buy those mouth washes next time on, lol! read more

My wife had to wait over an hour past her scheduled time for a crown, due to Dr. Nelson taking longer on a previous patient. Wish they would've called ahead before showing up and waiting in the lobby for over an hour. She's already a nervous person and has to take medicine for anxiety when going to the dentist. Because they were going to administer Nitrous they out right refused to work on her and then we received a call stating that we were being referred to another dentist. A BIG waste of a day for sure and truly unprofessional. However, we can't say enough great things about how amazing and professional Natalie and our Periodontist was. It's unfortunate that we have to change dentists after coming to this office for over 6 years. I would not recommend Dr. Nelson. They no only lost my wife's business, they also lost mine due to this. read more

This is the best dental office I've been to. I'm so happy to have found this place. The dentist is so good at what he does. I came to him after another dentist couldn't get rid of the pain I had after he re did the fillings. It didn't take him long to figure out what was wrong and he was able to fix it immediately. I really appreciate his expertise and genuine patient care. The staff is also friendly. The dental hygienist is thorough and great. read more

I usually write either great reviews or bad reviews. This is of the former. I'm new to the area so have had the fun of finding new providers for me and my family. Thus far, I've been most impressed with Dr. Koerperick and his staff. My fiancé and I, separately, went to go see Dr. K and we both thought he was very thorough. For me, he recommended that I go see an Endodontist for my tooth with a root canal that showed up oddly on the X-ray. He also recommended replacing the crown on the tooth with the root canal and another crown right next to it. I was skeptic at first because just 10 months prior, I had a routine cleaning and a check up at my previous dentist. But, his hunch was right about the tooth with the root canal; I had an infection. Also, the other tooth with crown had deep cavities right below the crown. The other thing I like about this practice is their very efficient check in process. It truly is paperless. Any practice that puts money and care into creating efficiency and great experience, it must translate into other areas. I, also, really appreciate his friendly staff. They greet me by my name every time I've been in which is a wonderful personal touch. read more

I became a patient of Silvertree Dental when a friend referred me to Dr. Samantha Holder. I was very nervous about finding a trustworthy, caring dentist when I moved here from Southern California a couple of years ago. I am in my 40"s and have never had a cavity. My teeth have always been very healthy. I had the same dentist for 34 years and prior to moving here, my dentist advised me to be very selective when it comes to choosing a dentist as they tend to overcharge for unneeded work. I was a patient of Dr. Holder's for a year and was very happy with her. She has excellent bedside manner, explains everything clearly and is very knowledgeable about dentistry. I went in for my regular cleaning in August knowing I was going to be seeing Dr. Koerperick as I thought Dr. Holder was out for the day. When I arrived at my appointment, I found out she no longer worked there. I had my cleaning done by Jenna. Jenna is a great hygienist. After my cleaning, Dr. Koerperick said I had cavities and needed to get them filled. Of course, I was devastated! And Skeptical. This was my first time meeting him. I located Dr. Holder at the new office she is currently working at to get a second opinion. I found out at my consultation with her that I do NOT have any cavities and I just have staining. I am so thankful I got the second opinion. I did not feel comfortable with Dr. Koerperick and his assessment. Pros: Friendly front office staff, assistant and hygienist; clean office Cons: Dr. Holder is no longer working there; I was charged for additional Xrays taken that were not covered by my insurance. My insurance approves one Xray a year. My first initial visit they recommended laser cleaning. Extra charge for that and it was not necessary. read more

Multiple visits here. My 3 year old had a cleaning and they did great with her. She won a prize and a mini dental hoodie bag. Comfortable office, and very friendly staff. I'd rate this place 4.5* if I could give halfs. Only thing its missing is the massage chairs. Had a cleaning, fillings and more done at the office. Our family has been coming here for about 5 years now and although there was some staff changes over the years- Dr. K who is the owner is awesome and their staff is super informative and friendly. They don't recommend work that's not needed and are great with reassuring people who may not love going to the dentist. Even my husband who hates the dentist- likes SilverTree which speaks volumes! Id stay away from Silvertree dental. I was a patient of Dr. Holder for years. She left the practice and they refused to let me know where she went. They claimed that there was no way for them to know but I could easily find out by contacting the Dental Board. That means they could have easily done the same.Shame on them Guess they're just interested in a buck !!! read more

Went for my first cleaning since March and was very pleased. Strict COVID procedures and precautions in place which made everything very comfortable. Hygienist and dentist were professional and terrific, and staff was friendly and helpful. read more

My experience is the same as A. L. review below on 2/24/2016. This place either deep cleaning you (of course by charging a lot of out of pocket money) or they will not do regular cleaning to you at all, which is free. Even you specifically request regular cleaning under your insurance, they will refuse to do that. The first time my wife and I went there, they measure the gum by pressing the gum so hard and then give you bad numbers saying your gum are really bad, and then force you to do the deep cleaning. Both my wife and I were forced to do deep cleaning. And you cannot refuse that or they will not do any service (like free regular cleaning) to you at all. After that they will force you to do periodontal maintenance instead of regular cleaning. On a follow up appointment, they will very gently measure the gum and say "you gum improved a lot because of the deep cleaning". I highly doubt their numbers are correct. On a follow up appointment, I clearly mentioned that I want the regular cleaning, which is free under my insurance. But they switched me to the so called periodontal maintenance without telling me in advance and then charge me for that. What they called "perio maintenance" has no difference than a regular cleaning I've done in other dental locations. My suggestion, stay away from this place. They are just trying to get as much money as possible from you by give the service to you no matter you may or may not need them. read more

BEWARE OF THE CANCELLATION FEE!!! I have been a patient here for about a year and I had many treatments from laser, fillings, and cleaning every 3 months to buying $25 toothpaste. I felt like they really cared about my oral health and I followed their recommendation (some out of pocket). Little did I know, it was just a ploy to make money off of their patients. After I RESCHEDULED, (NOT CANCELLED) a few of my appointments because of babysitting issues, they are charging me cancellation fee!! I guess they would like to have a toddler running around in the office rather than have their patients reschedule. There are so much competition in the south chandler area with dentist. I am sure there are plenty of dentist office not out to get your money and provide the same service. read more

We were some of their early customers when they first opened the Chandler office, and when their client list was small they appeared to be very sincere about good dental health, however after a couple of years it became clear to us............... IF YOU HAVE GOOD DENTAL COVERAGE THEY WILL TRY TO SIGN YOU UP FOR EVERY TEST and/or IN THE BOOK, USING FEAR TACTICS. This dental office only wants to fleece your insurance company, they started adding recommendations to my chart without consulting me, They like to recommend procedures upfront i.e. the laser cleaning because it is a good way to get money from your insurance company right away, instead of the fee for a routine checkup, I had no issues before there laser treatment, however since having the procedure I have add minor nagging issues, In-addition they have terrible hygiene practices, (i.e. when hygienist was taking measurements, I noticed she was typing on the keyboard with her gloved hands, then putting the same in my mouth). When I questioned this, all I got was a "deer in the headlights look". Michael the gentleman that handles the financials, attempts to add charges for appointment cancelations etc. however one day I had an afternoon appointment and they canceled it because the dentist was in the Scottsdale office, no email, no phone call, just a locked office door and a close sign when I showed up. Dr Koerperick is thorough but very gentle. The staff submits all insurance and tells you in advance what the costs will be or if you have hit you benefit max for the year. Went to Dr. Koerperick's, Silvertree Dental office in Chandler based on high Yelp reviews. Unfortunately my experience was similar to another person's, who left his review based on his visit at Dr. Koerperick's Raintree Dental location in Scottsdale. After getting an appointment with this Chandler office, my expectation was to get basic exam and regular cleaning that was advertised for 45 dollars without dental insurance. My mistake was to tell them that I do in fact have a good dental insurance. Lindsey was performing my exam. Taking X-Rays at every possible angle of almost every single tooth individually. After unnecessary overexposure of X-Rays, Dr. Koerperick took over to exam my teeth, which btw are in excellent condition, only with some minor tartar buildup. Dr. Koerperick proceeded to inform me that he would like to perform deep cleaning on my teeth on TWO separate visits. (Inconvenient much?!) Also adding that it would cost me over 200 dollars out of pocket, AFTER my dental insurance will be built to a max. At this point I'm speechless. I have two annual, preventable, free of charge, dental cleanings on my dental insurance plan, and yet I'm in situation where this guy wants me to pay for deep cleaning over 200 dollars out of pocket on two separate visits, AND on top of that overcharge my insurance balance. I requested him to perform just basic cleaning, to which Dr. Koerperick replied that he would only perform deep cleaning on my teeth. So there I was, sitting in that dental chair thinking that this is probably one of the worst dentist scams I have ever experienced. Not only I was x-rayed to probably Fukushima level with their stupid exam, I also didn't even get a basic dental cleaning performed. Because I was also honest about having dental insurance, they were "nice" enough to charge my dental insurance for 150 dollars for my radiation exam visit and on top of that basically blackmailing me to agree to their overpriced, two separate deep cleaning visits or not getting any cleaning at all. Oh, and do you want that free teeth whitening kit that they advertise you will get after your first exam?! You wish. Only after you pay them for their overpriced deep cleaning of course. Needless to say that at that point I was ready to get the heck out of there. That visit was just waist of my time and money. Unfortunately Dr. Koerperick is a "perfectly good representative" of that stereotypical image of dental industry, that is only after their patients money and their dental insurance plans. It seems like Dr. Koerperick has developed a good money making plan by convincing every new patient to agree on performing deep cleaning. Dr. Koerperick might come across as being detailed perfectionist, who will only perform 'thorough deep cleaning or no cleaning at all', but he's apparently also a perfectionist at doing thorough deep cleaning on patient's money and their insurance plan's. read more
