She has such a calm and gentle way with our dogs, even when they're being a bit stubborn or difficult, which happens more often than we'd like to admit! What we really love about Carly is how upfront and communicative she is. She always lets us know exactly what to expect before the appointment and takes the time to walk us through everything afterward. We never feel rushed or brushed off, she genuinely cares about her clients, both human and furry. One thing that stands out is how she adjusts the cost based on what services she was actually able to complete, depending on how cooperative our pups are. That kind of honesty and fairness is rare and truly appreciated. It also shows how much she respects not only the animals but her clients as well. But beyond the grooming, it's the way she remembers every little detail about our dogs, their quirks, their preferences, even the way they like to be handled and that makes all the difference. It's clear that she loves what she does and puts her heart into every appointment. Carly is an absolute gem and a huge asset to the store. We feel incredibly lucky to have found someone who treats our pets like her own. Thank you so much, Carly, we're so grateful for you!

She was patient with me and my indecisiveness when finding my furry friend, as I met with a couple dogs before connecting with my Luke. An overall warm and pleasant experience with Smiley Tails!

After trekking out to their home to meet their puppies up for adoption we found out that they were the puppies of their family dog, we also found out they had been spayed/neutered before 8 weeks which is not recommended or healthy. Maria, the owner of this "rescue" made it clear that she wants the dog to choose the family, and she was very encouraged when a puppy who normally would show no interest in adoptive families was so excited to meet my family. After making arrangements to come back the following day to pick him up, we received an email saying she does not think we are the proper fit (we have extensive experience raising large dogs, always someone at home, and a large backyard). Maria refused to take our calls or give us any viable explanation for why we were "unfit" after initially saying we could take him home that day. Truly a disgusting abuse of a "shelter" label. This for-profit home is basically a breeding ground, with Maria going out of her way to adopt pregnant dogs so that she can sell their puppies at high prices. Disgusting.

We had a very hard time taking our new best friend out on walks around the neighborhood. We went through two other trainers before we found Bar and just couldn't get the help we needed. Then we found bar and working with him has genuinely been the best decision we made as new dog owners. We did Bar's board and train program. After that month, Benny came home with so much improvement and skills. His engagement with us and responsiveness to us was night and day, making all things easier for us and Benny. Bar is very patient and compassionate with both dogs and people. The one thing that really sold it to us was just how much Benny loves working with Bar. Benny is always excited to see him again for training sessions and boarding when we are out of town. We recommend Bar to anyone that needs help with their K9 family members.
