While we had communicated via phone and text, Oku was kind of enough to meet in person ahead of the event to become familiar with the space where he would be taking pictures. We negotiated a very fair deal and Oku was very flexible with payment methods. On the day of the event, Oku came on time and prepared. He worked with myself and my family to capture stunning moments for our special event. Within a few days, Oku delivered as promised amazing quality pictures. He designed a website for all the photos taken that day, after professionally editing them, and even offered to set up printing for any high resolution pictures we wanted. Oku is a very talented and kind photographer. He will work with you and is very passionate about his work, delivering excellent product. Before booking , they were very professional and met with us and gave us a great overview of their services . Once we booked them , we met a month before the wedding to discuss what moments we wanted captured , schedule , and he taught us how to pose . Day of the wedding ,we booked 8 hrs , and they showed up , before to set up . I really appreciated that . I was super nervous and freaking out because my mother was running late , and Luis help me stay very calm. Something I recall was the first look with my dad , we had my my dads close his eyes , and Luis told him to recall me as a little girl , that brought us both to tears . Luis doesn't only know how to take the picture , but he's great and bringing out the emotions your looking for . He was great with keeping the bridal party on focus too . We ordered the photo album as well , and he made sure to review the pictures that would be inside with us before printing . Brian did his best to engage with him but he never really relaxed. I didn't hear the shutter click many times and doubted that there would be more than 5 usable shots. When we went to view the photo's there were 20 good photo's. The package prices are incredibly reasonable and there is no sitting fee. You can pay $99 and get the sitting and 5 photos. This is a great deal for a professional photo sitting. The turn around on the printing and pick up was fast. All round a pleasant experience and I plan to return for my holiday pics!

The photo shoot was fun and our photographer was great with the baby. She was good at giving us direction and keeping my niece focused. She was really patient when the little babe wasn't giving the smile we were all hoping for. She sang sweetly to the babe to make her smile and laugh. It was great. There were also backdrops and scenes to take pictures in front of. These were super cute and give you a fair amount of options to choose from. Our photographer even let us take a few with the baby which was generous. I know some photographers charge if you're going to add an adult or anyone to the picture so this was a nice bonus. I'm not sure of the follow up details - but from what I understand my sister goes back to see the photos and will get a copy of all of the digital photos which is really nice. Many places tend to limit you to choose just a few. I really enjoyed this experience and would suggest folks looking for a photo session to consider here. The only drawback was that the building and office didn't seem to reflect the quality of the pictures/work. I also think there could be a little more effort put into the decor and overall aesthetic. We hired Kinjo and Dawa for our September wedding in Cape Cod this year. To say we are thrilled…read morewith the whole experience of working with them - from our first call to getting our photos and video - is an understatement. They are professional and also so fun to work with. Our wedding day was unseasonably HOT, despite these conditions they were moving around capturing everything all day and all night. Something so special is that they stayed until the very end - I know other photographers don't always do this. In showing our photos to our friends and family everyone is absolutely blown away and we've gotten comments like - "These are the best wedding photos I've ever seen," "How did they capture the moment/everyone's personalities so well!?" In being in other weddings recently, I've interacted with a lot of photographers and Kinjo and Dawa are by far the friendliest, most joyful and fun photographers I've interacted with (and trust me, you will want this on your big day - it makes a huge difference!) and their work is top of the line!
