We don't complain often, but this was one of the worst customer experiences we've had. We purchased Cookies & Cream and Cake Batter frozen yogurt, and both flavors were clearly spoiled. The yogurt was bubbly, sour, and tasted bad enough that we immediately threw it away. My husband went back inside right away to let the employee know there was an issue. He even asked her to try the yogurt herself, but she responded that she would "try it later." He then asked if we could get yogurt from a different machine or exchange it for another flavor since the product was clearly spoiled. She told him they do not offer refunds or exchanges. To make matters worse, they do not offer samples, so there is no way for customers to know the yogurt is spoiled before purchasing it. Outside, there is a sign advertising "New Management, New Flavors, Better Pricing," but the pricing was actually quite expensive for a product that was inedible. The employee gave us a phone number to contact management, but the number was disconnected. We left a message at another contact number and never received a response. Very rarely have we experienced a business that serves spoiled food, refuses to make it right, and provides no working way to contact management. Between the poor product quality, lack of customer service, and complete absence of follow-up, this was an extremely disappointing experience. read more

Horrible experience. Nasty ice cream and extremely rude workers. The girl with long black hair at the register rudely yelled at us to pull the lever a certain way. She then proceeds to yell at my husband and accuse him of stealing because he tried a gummy bear that he had put in his bowl (because they seemed stale and they were in fact stale). She was extremely disrespectful to us the entire time. We should have left at that moment. Instead we payed for our ice cream for which she did not provide a receipt for (they don't give receipts -and dont accept cash). The girl proceeded to argue with us even after we payed. She does not belong in customer service, and if this is how employees are trained they should be shut down. You also should not eat here because they have a B rating from the health inspectors. And the sign is hidden on the wide of the building. This place used to be good, but the new owners or management sucks. Will NEVER go here again. read more

My bad for walking in and assuming I'd be paying Menchies prices for mediocre froyo. 89 cents an ounce is what these highway robbers charge. But you wouldn't know that until they ring you up since there are no prices anywhere. To make things worse, they don't even give sample cups, so you can't taste how below average the flavors are. I took my kids and we went there for frozen yogurt and it was $40.55 for three of them then when we got home it was bad busy and foamy in our mouth and we couldn't eat it so we took it back and she could not give us a refund and told us to contact the owner I did and it was never resolved. BEWARE!!! Do not come here!!! We had been coming here for years and enjoyed it very much even with the high pricing. It's been months since we had been back and finally came again. HORRIBLE. The yogurt was rotten literally spoiled. I tried to tell the worker and she just say no refunds or exchanges. I said that's strange because it's rotten it's bad quality not our fault. She said she was just told to tell everyone no refunds or exchanges and to call the owner with the number on the wall. No response. I walked back in and saw her emptying the vanilla and I said did you try it? She just responded with my manager told me to empty it but I don't think she really did I told her again it's weird not to refund or exchange when it's rotten. She seemed frustrated that it was her only second day at Simon's and first at the Murrieta location. I went back out and told my very dissapointed kids we had to throw it all away. If I could leave 0 stars I would. $30 for 3 "small" cups and all of our yogurt was rotten and spoiled. They only have 1 size cup and it's the size of a bucket. This place is outrageously overpriced. Got one bowl that was a quarter full and she was charging $9, and there wasn't even any toppings on it. The space is empty with no people and it makes sense now. Despite the 4 star review for the place, it looks like in the past 6 months this place is getting numerous 1-2 star reviews and it makes sense now. If you look at previous images the pineapple dole whip is creamy and looks appetizing. If you look at images in the past year including our visit, it's super icy and it tasted old and disgusting. Do not come to this location and save your money for McDonald's soft serve because you will have a better experience there, and you can probably by 9 soft serves than a quarter bowl of the garbage that they serve here at this location. read more

Went there as a family. They don't do samples so we just trusted that the flavors would taste as expected. ALL the flavors we chose (vanilla, cookies and crème, and cake batter) were sour and tasted like something was wrong. The worker was nice and tasted the flavors and agreed something wasn't right. But since she wasn't the owner she said there was nothing she could do (refund or attempt to try different flavors). Predatory, cheapskate practices here... almost 90 cents an ounce, and conveniently, they only have extra large bowls for you to use. There was a sign that implied smaller cups were available on request, but after waiting a few minutes for a clerk to show up, I was informed they only had large cups and that it didn't matter because price was "based on weight". No samples were allowed, so you just have to cross your fingers that you'll like the flavors. I got 3 types of sorbet and it was decent at first, but had my mouth tingling (in a bad way) after a few bites, and it had gross chunks of something throughout it. DON'T COME HERE! I really hope they get shut down. It's a huge SCAM. I got a SMALL amount of frozen yogurt - maybe 1/3 of the small cup with zero toppings, and I ended up paying $11 for it. For basically flavored ice! I literally thought I was going to pay about $5 or so bucks max for it based on other places I've been to. And the frozen yogurt wasn't even very good. Even if the price was more reasonable, I would never come back...but absolutely guarantee I'm never coming back here for as much as they're ripping every single person that sets foot in here, and I'll be telling all my coworkers and the demographic I work with to never come here. Well, if you're looking to overpay on a level that is almost criminal, this is your spot. Ironically, they have a sign on the front of the building that reads: "under new management- low prices." I can't even understand this. I had a 25% off coupon and it was still $41 for 4 bowls (2 were kids). The ONLY reason we stayed is because my 6 year old had gotten the coupon and asked me all week to go. The soft serve is average. The one worker there was on his phone and disinterested. The place was dirty and strange. Wobbly, Walmart furniture and sticky wooden games on the tables. Ice cream Machines are loud as hell inside. This place is a failure of a business - I'd be surprised if it was gone in 6 months. Horribly ran, terrible prices, terrible ambiance. Absolutely trash. read more

I served myself a flavor and licked what was left near the top of my cup. The lady up front was checking out two customers and apparently was yelling out to me that no samples are allowed. With the store music blasting, I did not hear her until she yelled loud enough for me to turn around. She yells out to me how she's told me 3 times that no samples are allowed in front of the two customers who look confused. I can see why she didn't want me trying the flavor I put in my own cup because the flavor was sour and kinda rancid. I didn't even feel like buying anymore, but to not be rude and walk out I went up front to pay. Crazy pricing as well, two cups with barely any toppings came out to $17. Worst service Iv'e ever experienced, normally i am a people pleaser and usually isn't one to complain, but this was bad. First of all there are signs everywhere saying their equipment is broken and will break if you pull the ice cream handles all the way down. This is the worst experience I've ever had at an establishment ever. I don't even leave reviews ever but this experience was so horrible I needed it to be known. Me and my fiancé walked in and saw that they weren't doing samples, so I started pouring my yogurt and my fiancé put a small amount of a flavor in his cup to try it. A lady walks out and (with an insane attitude) walks right in front of me pouring my yogurt and shuts the machine off mad that I was using it because the machine wasn't supposed to be being used (how was I supposed to know no to use it????) she starts going on about how they don't allow samples. My fiancé asked how we are supposed to know what flavor we want, and she responded "I don't know that's just how it works here" basically shouting at us at this point lol. We walked in and the place smelled like cleaning products...like super strong to the point where it feels like you're inhaling fumes. There were people in there and nobody appeared to be working there. So I rang the bell and after a while, a girl walks out with headphones on, looking like she's half asleep and that it was a bother for us to be there. Been coming here every Sunday evening for the past 3 months, and when they're open it's pretty good yogurt and yummy toppings with good music and a cute vibe. A few faulty machines here and there but that's what gives it some charm. Second time now we've pulled up during their "open hours" and the doors have been locked but all lights inside have been on with all their open signs stating open.
