This is more of a 3.5 rating. The upside is that the prices are affordable. The downside is that there is a reason why... The burger meal is around $11 without tip. It's a pretty affordable price. The burger however tastes like cafeteria food or the kind they have at AM/PM. The coffee milk tea had a hint flavor of coffee. Boba was at least chewy. If you like the burger, it'll cost less if you buy it at AM/PM. Place is clean. The side edibles are a decent generic collection to pick from. The milk tea is okay. The server was okay. As a wandering foodie w a thirst for Thirstea, I accidentally cheated on my usual Murrieta location with Thistea (blame it on the recruiter proximity, not my loyalty!). Disappointing. Our drinks tasted flavorless and watered down. We did make sugar adjustments, but only to 75% yet they tasted like 25%. The boba was also HARD which I didn't understand since I came in just an hour after opening. I'm very surprised by all the good reviews. The shop is very nice, though. It was super spacious and has a lot of seats. They also decorated for Christmas and had a TV going on which I enjoyed. I am extremely disappointed with the service I received today. Not only was I ignored when I first arrived, but the lack of accountability and customer service was shocking for a service-based business. I placed an order online through ThirsTea's own website for 8 drinks. However, when I came to pick it up, the young lady at the counter flat-out refused to acknowledge that I used their website. She was so certain that I had used Grubhub that she wouldn't even take the time to verify the order in her own system. She indicated that the only way an order can be placed was either over the phone or in person because an order could not be placed on their website. she was confident that I must have placed it at another location and even suggested I drive there. When I showed her proof of the order with the order number, she still didn't take responsibility or apologize. Instead, she asked her coworker to call someone to "verify" the order--despite the fact that I had already shown her confirmation. To make matters worse, after I had already been waiting in the store for 20 minutes, I was told I would need to wait even longer because they were going to prioritize other orders before mine. This made no sense, especially since there were no other customers in the store when I arrived. What should have been a quick 5-minute pickup turned into a frustrating, hour-long ordeal. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time. Mistakes can happen, but the refusal to take accountability, lack of urgency, and disregard for the customer's time are unacceptable read more

A very tasty boba tea/shake. Their boba and jellies are paired with a refreshing mix of flavors. The place was extremely clean and large...almost too large for the spot. On the hunt for boba from new locations and I found this spot! I feel like they are tucked away off the side of the road. I came in about 5:45pm on a Monday and there was only one person ahead of me in line. The place is spacious. They are not allowing anyone to sit inside at the moment due to Covid. I tried their honey milk tea. My favorite tho of tea! Honey milk tea with boba. Super cold and they didn't have to use a ton of ice. This way I received more tea than ice. That's a plus. The boba was perfect. Texture was perfect. The tea have the best balance of milk vs black tea flavor. It's was a little sweeter than I like. I'm not sure if I could ask for less sweet but next time I will ask. I give this tea 4/5 stars Service was quick. The staff is great. I really like the very open kitchen style they have. I'm laughing at myself a little as I write this review because this is the first time I've had a drink that was not sweet enough. I like boba and my partner likes boba so we end up getting boba often. We knew when visiting San Diego that we would be looking for boba spots as well. When I get my drinks, I typically prefer them less sweet and I find that more often than not, when I order a drink at 50% sweetness it's still too sweet for me. My default is therefore 25%. I ordered the peach green tea at 25% sweetness and laughed when I took a sip because it was actually not sweet at all and definitely needed some sweetness! It's just never happened to me that I've had a drink that lacked so much sweetness. However, the tea tasted great, although bitter, and I still got the peach flavor and it wasn't artificial, which I appreciated. My partner ordered a rose milk tea with boba and my goodness his milk tea was delicious. I was surprised that there was a good rose flavor and it was creamy! The boba was on the harder side but not by too much. The staff were very friendly and kind here. Ok hands down, the best milk tea for the Temecula area so far, and here's why: Wife and I are from the Bay Area (if you know you know) and been boba connoisseurs since 2013. It's hard to find good boba outside the BayArea or LosAngeles area. Now, that's our opinion. We are trying more and more as we speak. When we came across ThirsTea now that we live in Temecula, we felt rejuvenated and as we indulged the milk tea flavors, it really brought back memories from home, therefore, it's passes our test of what you call "Good Boba" We've tried many other boba shops in the area and those just gave off food chain taste and nothing special whatsoever. Atmosphere (3.5/5): Beautiful interior decor and good music, HOWEVER I feel really bad for the workers as the setup is pretty much open and can see EVERYTHING they do even just from driving by. Yes on the consumer side might be good so you can see everything they do, but I remember also being a teenager in the service industry, It was awesome to have some sort of privacy and not feel micro-managed or watched 24/7. Besides that, awesome branding, beautiful decor, and I hope employees at least as some type of "enclosed break room." This is just my Opinion of what we saw and experienced.
