    Matcha latte art = 10/10
    Karson S.

Great spot to hang out and grab a coffee with a friend (downstairs) or come and quietly read by yourself (upstairs). UPDATE: many reviews mentioned 4 hour parking, but this is no longer true - it is 2 HOUR parking the with a fee of $10 afterword. Not ideal for a remote working location for more than a short break. Matcha was one of the more expensive in Austin but solid. Food was great (got the birria tacos which were SO tender, although I did have a slight stomach ache right after - maybe just the grease). Went on a Tues during the day and there were many people working upstairs (quietly), but available seats for 2 or 3 ppl downstairs.

Drinks: I have had the Black Betty and the Rose Colored Glasses, and I have really enjoyed both drinks. The Rose Colored Glasses is essentially a strawberry matcha, but it is done really nicely. The price is pretty standard around $8 for the drink: I can't complain because I've paid more for worse. Service: Both times that I have come here, the baristas have been super friendly! They really help make the place feel more welcoming! Ambiance: This is an amazing place to hunker down for a few hours to study or just yap with a friend. The cafe has a nice vibe, and upstairs has a really nice library vibe. Also, the restrooms are quite nice -- they're match the overall cafe's aesthetic. There is also a really pretty outdoor patio to work at with outlets and nice greenery. I like that Simona's is a little off from the main street, so it is quite and feels super peaceful. Overall: I've been to a lot of cafes in Austin (I'm still getting around to reviewing them), but I have been telling all of my friends to come here because it is such a cool spot.

Outstanding decor, service, drinks and food. They've got the whole package! Bougie cafe in a boutique hotel with authentic Mexican food from a parked food truck. Loved my migas and barbacoa tacos. The red salsa is divine. Husband's eggs, bacon and french toast were beautiful. Great spot!

Excellent spot and a little hidden away from the street side - it blends in with the hotel it's part of. The coffee shop is a large, high-ceiling room adjacent to the hotel lobby, with an upstairs and patio. Upstairs is the place to go, it is a well-decorated, library feeling room that is quiet enough to do some reading or work, but still a level where conversation would be okay. Coffee itself has been consistently high quality with a small assortment of baked/prepared goods as well.

One of the few places in Austin that has maintained quality over the years and remains my go-to coffee shop to meet up with people or just read a book. The service is quick and friendly, there are bakery items including an option or two for gluten-free folks like me, and now even a food truck with freshly prepared tacos! The furniture is comfortable, the noise level allows proper conversation, and the patio is beautiful.

Randomly found this spot on the maps! Simona Coffee and Cocktails is such a charming spot! It has the perfect blend of cute and cozy, making it ideal for working or studying. The upstairs area has a modern library vibe, complete with comfortable seating that encourages you to focus. We tried the Tom's Diner latte and the From Eden cocktail, and both were fantastic. The cocktail was refreshing, a perfect balance of flavors. But let's talk about that latte--if you're a fig lover, Tom's Diner will blow your mind. I've never had a latte like it before; it's so unique, rich, and full of flavor that I'm still thinking about it. Truly one-of-a-kind!

Great place to co-work with friends or on your own. Simona's is located behind the Colton House hotel. There is free parking in the garage with your purchase. Just let the cashier know you need parking validation! The space is filled with modern, clean furniture. Absolutely beautiful. High and low tops downstairs, and couches and high tops upstairs. There's also a ton of seating in the backyard outside. Tacos are great, and love that you can get both coffee, teas and cocktails. I get alot of work and meetings done here! Highly recommend in the South Austin area.

Simona's is a beautiful coffee shop venue. Plenty of seating (indoor and outdoor), great natural lighting, and a well-designed ambiance. I got an iced salted caramel latter and it was solid. What really puts this place over the top though is the FOUR HOUR VALIDATED PARKING. Four hours is the longest validation time I have experienced YET. Coffee or restaurant. I also love that this place is not an headache to reach. It's located in the Colton House Hotel, but you don't have to enter the hotel to get to the shop. You can enter Simona's directly from the parking garage. They also have good signage to make it easy to find.

Super cute spot inside the hotel! Stopped in at Simona's and loved it. The vibe is stylish and fun -- part coffee shop, part cocktail bar. Had a couple of their signature drinks and they were fabulous. Bartender was excellent, and the outdoor patio is a great bonus. Coffee was solid too -- perfect to take on the road. Best of all...easy parking. Definitely worth a visit!

Really great atmosphere. Very high end furniture and classical style decor. This is within a hotel. I enjoy the patio late at night. Coffee would be $1 price higher than most coffee places but not crazy. Pretty comparable beverages to most places. Cocktails are pretty good too. You will get 4hr long parking validation to part within the paid parking spaces

I've been to Simona's a few times, and I've always been happy with the experience! Parking lot is a little weird and small, but the bar validates parking up to 4 hours, which makes up for it. The menu itself is not extensive, but it has some classics and some delicious cocktails. Coffee, as well! Service is quick and the bartenders are friendly and always happy to give you a personal recommendation when stuck between a few options. The vibes are immaculate, as well. The decor and design inside is perfection. If you are ever in the area, I recommend checking it out!

The ambience is great is next to the hotels pool, great indoor spaces to work but also outside covered tables, they have a big variety of cocktails, coffee and some pastry's , last time I was there they had Taquicardia food truck with amazing tacos on a Saturday and even a DJ

Delicious breakfast tacos. Phenomenal flavor. Robust portions. Lovely experience.

I would say 2.5 stars but I'll land on 2. The first time our server was an absolute nightmare. I honestly don't know why she was called to work at an upscale cocktail bar with such a disdain for her customers. I had a reservation with my husband and our other friend and she just seemed to generally dislike us and anyone else she interacted with. No smile, angry. I don't mind people not having a permanent smile, I can have a RBF myself, I get it. But my husband ordered a table side martini and this comes with a personal interaction with getting your custom martini at the table and I promise you there is nothing she wanted to do less with her day than make a drink at our table, and had no clue what she was doing. She was just potion mixing reminiscent of things I did in the pantry as a kid. She didn't know what to ask that he wanted and was just dumping a little of this, a little of that. He tried to make conversation because she's literally there kneeled at our table doing this, and supposed to be asking for preference on the drink, but not really saying anything. He asked "Do your friends always have you making the drinks because you know how to make good ones?" Her response was a deadpan "My friends are poor." Well. That's awkward. We didn't know what to say to that. When she was done mixing things she realized she hadn't made enough to include a sidecar which is part of this custom drink order. So what did she do? She mixed a bit of this and that again from the random pretty little bottles on her tray with no mind to what was actually being concocted and it was 100% different than what was in the glass. It was even a different color. The drinks made by the actual bar were good, but the server was so dismissive that it was just annoying to ask for anything. The second time we had a different server and he was very pleasant and as attentive as he could be, given the random massive crowd that appeared around our 6pm reservation time. The whole point of Powder Room is to relax and have an intimate, no phone experience, and this requires a reservation. For some reason they decided to let in some random 30 person wedding party or something that had no reservations and just stood basically with their butts in the face of all the seated reservations. It was such a loud volume in there that the server couldn't even hear us and brought the wrong drink. We decided it was too much and left. They did apologize stating they didn't know this was going to happen. Well, you have control over letting people in and this was a choice. I get there was money to be made off a large, random group, but it was at the expense of us as locals wanting to come back again.

The bartender claimed I was drunk and cut me off anyway. I was at the bar talking to a girl while waiting to get a drink (the wait was long because the service is very slow, despite the bar not being very busy at all). She was clearly into me, and the bartender kept jumping in trying to talk to her too (instead of doing his job making drinks). He was doing all sorts of things to try and flirt with her and make her laugh: pulling out and showing her buckets of pre mixed cocktails, running and sliding under the bar, etc. She was engaging with both of us , and right in the middle of that, I get cut off out of nowhere. No explanation other than claiming I looked drunk, which I very clearly wasn't. It felt very clear what was going on--he wanted me out of the way. I left and asked the bouncer on my way out if I seemed drunk. This was literally two minutes later. He said no, not at all, and asked me why I would even ask that. I then told him exactly what happened and asked him to let the owner or whoever was in charge know about this extremely unprofessional conduct so they can discipline the bartender. His response was that the bartender has discretion to cut anyone off, and let me know the bartender is supposedly married so he couldn't have been flirting with any of the customers. Well, sounds like his logic is flawed--not only COULD he flirt with his customers, he WAS, and was therefore cheating. I hope his wife finds out. This is perfectly representative of Austin customer service lately and not normal in other places. I was in Tampa for an entire month earlier this year and this would've been unthinkable there. I'm not coming back.
