I recently went to Daydreamer on 6th Street and I loved it. The décor and the vibe are everything super cute and well thought out. I loved the moon on top of the bar, such a nice touch. The bartenders were really friendly and offered different drink options, which always makes the experience better. I had an espresso martini and it was delicious. Okay loooovvvvvveeeee this bar! Such a chill vibe great wine selection. The art is soo fun and good music. Bartenders although busy took time talked laughed. It was all great. Me and my friends went through 3 bottles of wine in 4 hours because it was so chill. I did have a mosquito bite me 3 times but it's Texas people walking in and out nothing they can do. Such a great little spot! This bar is right on E. 6th St. next to my work and today we went for a little birthday celebration after work and it literally took us maybe three minutes to walk there and it was so cute and so well designed when you come in there's a front outside area then you go in and there's a such a cute bar with some seating inside and it's really clean and nice and then you can go outside with your drink and they have a lot of picnic table so you can sit out a picnic table and it's just very very cute. It's such a good spot on E6 to grab a little drink. They also have some snacks I believe as well I saw even little caviar bumps on their menu so such a good spot. read more

They were super friendly and more than happy to talk you through drink selections. They made a great old fashioned, which is my measure for good bartending. This patio bar in the heart of Sixth Street is fantastic. When you walk in it's like being transported to another place. I really feel like it could be anywhere from Miami or a high-end beach resort in France. Clean, modern design inside and out with an amazing vibe. Allday pizza is located in the back of Daydreamer on the patio and prices start at $6 per slice which is fair. It looked intriguing from the street, but always appears to be somewhat empty, so hadn't tried it until recently when I figured it was time to give this spot a proper try. Things were unfortunately very pricey and the service was a huge disappointment, as the bartender had some sort of chip on their shoulder and was very rude. Although they look like they they gave a decent try on the ambience, it comes across as pretty run-of-the-mill for the area, which has much better options like whistlers a few doors down. All in all I won't be going back, or recommending for anyone to even bother trying it. If they can pull himself out of their daydream and do something about the prices and especially the service (get rid of bartenders that appear to be on something while working) maybe they could turn it around. read more

Nice space located on the eastern edge of the commercial strip of East 6th entertainment district. It's in a prime location near Suerte and Via 313 pizza. There are front and back outdoor areas with plenty of seating. The inside is split into a seating area up front and some seating to the side of the building. There are bar stools as well on the side and front of the bar so there are a few bartender stations. I came here for the lunar new year pop up and it looks like this place has a number of themed events lined up so keep an eye on their socials for these events. This place also serves the New Orleans classic, Ramos Gin Fizz. I've had it before in New Orleans so I would be interested how they make their version of it since it is time consuming to make. read more

This place has parents from Kitty Cohens, High Noon, Fraziers and The White Horse, so take note that this place has great genes. I had the Studio 54 and the Night Market. Both were perfect, served up, and well priced. @eleven11atx the East Side English Cream Golden Retriever approves of the cool tile floor, friendly treat-giving staff, and the proper level of music playing. He isn't a fan of the stones outside so he likes having the option of staying inside. I see this establishment lasting and becoming as popular as some of the many East Side bars. read more

I don't particularly love the service here and after many attempts, I've realized it is what it is and I just let the tasty cocktails make up for it.
