It's right next to Glossy Nails on Blackstone and Herndon. The lady who helped assist was very nice and I believe the guy who came out to say hello to us while we waited was also the owner. My dad had two watches one needed a battery replacement and the other needed the links to be removed so it fit perfectly onto his wrist. Total came out to $40 and I think that's a really nice price. I'll definitely come back here again if I ever need any repairs done for my jewelry. Service was also pretty quick! It took about 20 minutes! Thank you!

Luckily, I found it while cleaning, and my husband found The Diamond Gallery on Yelp. We were greeted by Brandon, who welcomed us with a level of warmth and genuine customer care. He was so friendly and welcoming. He inspected my ring within a minute with complete confidence, confirmed it my band is platinum with intact prongs, and explained they could set the loose diamond, tighten the prongs, reshape the band, and clean it for $35. I couldn't believe the pricing! I was quoted $500 at Orloff, but for only prong tightening (my diamonds were loose during that consultation). I got my ring back a few days later, and it looks absolutely flawless and I barely recognized it! It was stunning; I was so blown away by the quality of work and exceptional service that I voluntarily paid double his quoted price. I shared my experience and the incredible care I received with a few coworkers. One of them actually visited a jeweler recently and was thrilled--she said her engagement ring came back looking even better than when she first got it. My husband and I felt the same way about mine; it looked even more stunning than the day I first wore it. That's the magic of finding a master craftsman. I Left the watch and ring with them for a minor repair early in May. I told them I wanted to remove a link to resize the watchband and asked if they could refurbish the watch case. The ring was missing a tiny diamond chip. I needed the missing diamond chip replaced. June rolls around and so far I had heard nothing from anyone about any progress. 3 weeks pass before I got curious and impatient and decided to call to find out what was going on. Ken says "the diamonds are on back order and that the watch would be about $190 to repair. We didn't know if you wanted to spend that much to get the watch repaired so we didn't know what to do. Hmmm. Here's a novel idea. PICK UP A PHONE AND CALL ME ON THE NUMBER ON THE ESTIMATE! Jeez. Ask a question. You might just get an answer. It made me wonder how long my watch would have sat there if I hadn't bothered to call and check? I explained to Ken that yes, like the estimate says, repair the watch and resize the band by taking out a link. He asked if I wanted the crystal replaced. I say yes. It's not a super expensive watch but it has sentimental value and I wanted it completely repaired. Three more weeks pass and no news. No call. I call again. They say the store is closed for a week for vacation and they don't have any information on my watch or ring. But they will call me as soon as they are open again. Finally call me yesterday ( it's now mid July. It's been well over ten weeks since I dropped it off.) They ask, what are we supposed to do to the ring? I said it was supposed to get one of the diamonds replaced that is missing. He says "Oh. It looks like it's already been replaced. I guess you can pick it up tomorrow." Wife goes to pick up the watch and ring and they ask her, "Did he want the crystal replaced? It's got a couple of scratches in it." I told my wife to just pay for whatever they did and bring it home. I certainly didn't want to leave it with them again for another 10 weeks. She gets it home. I put it on only to find out they never took a link out to resize the band. Do I recommend them? Ha. This level of incompetence or complacency is really hard to find. I can understand a miscommunication. A mistake. This minor task was a train wreck from start to finish. The other funny thing? When I dropped the watch off, I asked the guy if they had a Citizen watch like mine except with a green dial face instead of the blue and he immediately said no no. I can check around but that would be pretty hard to find." As I was walking out the door, I looked to the left and in their watch display window I saw one sitting there with a green face. I just now decided to order it. On Amazon. The only assumption I can come up with, is that this is place must be just a storefront for laundering money. I can't imagine how they can stay in business with this level of customer service. I'm kidding of course, but yeah, I'm thinking I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

At most, I would have been very happy to have it nice and clean. But when I gave my jewelry to Michael, and about five minutes later, what he brought back to me, looked like a completely different piece of jewelry. I am astounded at how meticulous and care that he took into Cleaning my simple older piece of jewelry.. He treated me with care and concern, even though I wasn't there to purchase any of their fabulous jewelry. I truly haven't had that experience at other jewelry places in town. I can see why this jewelry store has been around for so many years and why they have such a good reputation. Thank you so much.

Very disappointing and confusing experience, despite a great effort from Max Orloff to make things…read moreright. We recently purchased an engagement ring from Orloff Jewelers in Fresno, and unfortunately, the experience was much more stressful and confusing than it should have been. We initially worked with Rhonda, and at first we thought she was great. We gave her a specific budget, but she ultimately took us more than two thousand dollars over that budget without ever clearly communicating what the total final price would be. One of the biggest issues was that we were not clearly told upfront that the ring and the diamond were being sold separately. We left the store with the ring in hand under the impression that we had paid the full amount because we had been told we would pay half when we ordered the ring and the other half when we picked it up. The second payment was less than the first, which already didn't make sense to us, and no one could clearly explain the numbers. Rhonda called us the day after and told us that we still owed approximately two thousand dollars for the diamond. At that point, we were understandably frustrated. We had been given different numbers multiple times, and even after repeatedly asking for clarification, no one seemed able to provide a consistent, accurate total. Two thousand dollars is not just "a little oversight" on their part. We were also never given official paperwork explaining everything clearly, and when we asked for the diamond paperwork/pamphlet at pickup, the sales associate couldn't even locate it. When we went into the store to try to negotiate with Rhonda to address the situation, because we felt we had not been properly informed about what we were agreeing to, we felt she became very defensive and rude rather than taking responsibility for the lack of clarity. To make matters worse, the ring was made in the wrong size. I am a size 4.5, and the ring came back as a 6.5. Thankfully, Max Orloff happened to be there, and he genuinely made an effort to turn an otherwise terrible experience around. His customer service was completely different. He listened, understood why we were frustrated, acknowledged that multiple mistakes had been made, and worked with us to find a solution. He arranged to have the ring resized that same day, worked out a personal payment plan, and even offered to personally deliver the ring to us. Even then, we were given another incorrect total by Rhonda. We specifically asked whether the number included sales tax and whether it was the final amount we would owe, and we were assured that it was. Later, we discovered that sales tax had been left out because she had forgotten to include it. We seriously considered returning the entire ring, but my fiancé had planned to propose during an upcoming trip on Tuesday, and all of this happened on Saturday. Ultimately, my fiancé decided to move forward because of Max's hospitality, understanding, and willingness to take ownership of the situation and help make it right. We genuinely appreciate what Max did for us, and we love the ring itself. That said, the overall experience was extremely disorganized. We were given different prices multiple times, the ring and diamond pricing wasn't clearly explained, paperwork was difficult to locate, sales tax was repeatedly mishandled, and the ring was made in the wrong size. Most importantly, we felt like we weren't given the information necessary to understand exactly what we were agreeing to pay. I also wish the commission had gone to Max, because his customer service was the reason we ultimately stayed with the purchase, especially after spending more than we originally intended. If you visit Orloff and Rhonda assists you, I would definitely recommend asking to work with a different sales associate. While we appreciate Max's efforts and love the ring, the experience with the sales floor left us feeling frustrated, misled, and disappointed. Unfortunately, based on our experience, we would not recommend Orloff Jewelers to friends or family. Management, I hope you are able to have a conversation with Rhonda about the way she speaks to customers. She needs to be extremely clear about pricing. She was careless and rude towards us and it is not something I will ever forget or forgive. She even cornered me when we came back in to resize my ring and told me to not let this ruin my experience, which was extremely unwarranted and unwelcome coming from her. We will be finding a different jeweler for any future cleanings or adjustments because I don't ever want to have to run into her again. Max deserves recognition for going above and beyond to fix a situation he did not create. Without his involvement, this review and our experience would have been very different.

Such a lovely couple, with reasonable prices and a quick turnaround time quoted for my repairs. They even put my coin back into my coin ring clasp for no charge! Another local jewelry repair/showroom quoted me $330. I also sold a gold necklace and bracelet that weren't repairable. They paid a very fair amount per ounce, comparable to, if not better than, most shops in town! What I received covered all my repairs AND having a ring made from the remaining links of my late father's bracelet--and I still walked away with $220! Being able to turn those links into something I can wear and cherish means so much to me. They also have jewelry and other items for sale, so stop in and look around even if you don't need a repair! I highly recommend giving them a visit. I'm so happy I chose their shop and can't wait to pick everything up!
