We were scheduled for surgery as soon as possible, hoping he would get some playing time in his Jr year. Although that wasn't to be, Dr. Rechter was with us every step of the way. He performed the surgery beautifully and got him ready to return to the ballfield for summer ball and Varsity in his senior year. I would highly recommend him and the staff as your first choice.

We were referred to a well known children's organization to follow up in 2 days. The soonest orthopedic appointment available was 7 days later. Even though her injury was "stable", I didn't want to wait that long. My neighbor is a nurse who used to take care of Dr. Rechter's patients for years. She referred me to his office, and they were able to accommodate us the next day at the Katy location. The experience was extremely positive, from check in to check out. Dr. Rechter's bedside manner is professional, yet endearing. He confirmed the type of fracture and recommended continuing the sling for 2 weeks to allow the humerus to heal. We will then repeat the x-ray, and he will show her exercises to do and avoid to prevent reinjury. He asked about her pain, and it was well controlled with Tylenol and Ibuprofen. As patients, we see a limited side of our providers, yet we place our complete trust in their hands. My neighbor adds that not only do his patients love him, but he has the respect of his colleagues too. Her words, "Dr. Rechter is impeccable and the most genuine doctor" she's ever known. She commends his positive demeanor and expertise. Health care professionals have the best insight into physicians. I'm in no way criticizing the network where I was referred, but if my daughter did need surgery, I would wait weeks to see Dr. Rechter if I had to. Obviously, he is a busy doctor (and I would never expect him to remember me, my personal situation, etc after not seeing him for 3 years), but he must have reviewed my file before entering the exam room. He walked in recapping my visit from 3 years ago. I had forgotten much of what was discussed the previous visit, so it was helpful for me to hear it again. I was visibly nervous. I knew my sinuses were going to be examined since I had been battling a terrible infection for over a month. I was not looking forward to those orifices being poked due to sensitivity. Dr. M was very gentle and explained everything in good detail. I had a nose scope done during my visit. The procedure does not hurt, it is just weird having something go up your nose. I was anxious and hesitant. Dr. M stopped several times to let me take a breath and get comfortable again. That was so helpful. I feel like he really cares about his patients. To be fair, I am a nervous Nelly. The anticipation of the exam is always worse than the actual exam. However, I appreciate Dr. M not getting impatient with me. That would have only made it worse. For me, trust is earned through patience shown and delicately handling my situation. I am going back for a sinus x-ray today. They do them in house which is nice because the location of his office is very convenient. They have a great parking garage too. Had he not been so patient and made me feel so comfortable, I would not have gone back. Thank you for being so ginger with me, Dr. M. You are the best!

I went into Dr…read moreMcCutcheon's office with the concern that I may need to have my tonsils removed due to getting strep multiple times every year. He swabbed me for mono and they insisted that the deductible would be $800 to send it to the lab....that my insurance covers 100% of. I refused to have the swab sent into the labs and one of the staff members had an attitude with me because it was almost like I "wasted" their time. On top of that, a camera was used on my nose and I was charged an additional $200 without being notified of the extra cost which they filed as a surgery under my insurance. Dr McCutcheon only speaks in medical terms that only another doctor would understand and anytime you ask what is going on, I felt like I was being treated like a kid. After years of pain and strep, I still have no answers. I DO NOT recommend this doctor unless you have no problem spilling out what could have been an extra $1000 dollars on top of my co-pay. Totally feel ripped off.

I finally talked to his nurse who said I probably needed an infusion and would catch the doctor or NP/PA to get me in immediately and I never heard back from them! I finally called my GP 2 days later who immediately got me into his office, received steroidal and nausea infusion, and he transitioned me off the medication he prescribed a new one until my new neurologist appointment. Just shy of a very painful 1 month nightmare!...and I'm sure the doctor was never informed by his staff.

She said you could have the ease and accessibility of all your records in one place, and the ability to have testing done at one of their two locations, and that was perfect for me. I was extremely impressed at my first visit with Dr Mathew. She listened intently to all my issues, my family history and was very patient. She was extremely thorough, as I was have suffered multiple issues, including Breast and Anal cancer, long-term Gastrointestinal issues, Back, knee and foot pain. I would never have linked my complex symptoms together into a single diagnosis. Dr. Mathew ran all the necessary bloodwork and looked at genetic markers, etc to find the reason why I was dealing with long standing complex problems. I am a long time veterinary nurse, but when we discussed my symptoms, she explained everything and gave me a diagnosis that is not widely known. I would never have correlated all these issues into a single diagnosis. We have tried different medications, but Dr Mathew always listens to my issues, then makes suggestions and adjustments accordingly, which I greatly appreciate. One of my coworkers began to suffer with similar issues, and I recommended Dr Matthew to her. She was equally pleased, after her diagnostic testing and remains a patient as well. Not only is Dr Mathew an exceptional diagnostician, her staff is always very friendly and very helpful. I am extremely appreciative of Dr Mathew's knowledge, skill and professionalism.

In addition, I felt like an inconvenience to the staff rather than a customer. Very disappointing service!
