However, Open Advanced MRI was supposed to get final approval before proceeding. Unknown to me they didn't and did the MRI without it. My insurance company refused to pay, so they tried to get me to pay for their incompetence. I told them to go pound sand.

I suffered for over a week with incredible tooth pain that radiated to the bottom teeth. My pain level was constant varying between 5 and 12 on a 1-10 scale. I found a radiologist that performed a CAT scan and I received the disk to give to Dr. Goodman. I am a pilot and was scheduled to receive recurrent training in San Antonio leaving on Sunday for 5 days. I called Dr Goodman and told his assistant that I had the disk, was in incredible pain, and unless I got to the bottom of the source of the pain I would not be able to attend my training. She said that he didn't have anything open until the following tuesday. After pleading with this assistant that this was an emergency, she told me to go to a pain management clinic!!. I called a Dr. Michael Freidman, a nationally renowned ENT in downtown Chicago, and he immediately made an appointment for me even with his very demanding schedule. This complete disregard and compassion by Dr. Goodman for what I was going through took me by complete surprise. Disappointment is an understatement...

Nurse was good except she did some tests that seemed completely unrelated to Dr Rod had excellent interpersonal skills/bedside manner. I actually got seen 22 minutes earlier than the original projection. I drove a mile past NCH immediate care to get here because of its bad reviews and I am so glad I drove the extra mile! Exam rooms are very clean, look new too. Plenty of space and extra seats for parents that bring kids.
