I appreciate that they came with both syrup and applesauce by default because I will always ask for syrup for my potato pancakes and having applesauce too is a bonus. I'd venture that most places that serve perch do it with beer batter. Having it breaded with cornmeal was certainly different. I don't think the breading accentuated the flavor of the perch like beer batter does and maybe even covered it up more than I would have liked, but I enjoyed the crispiness it achieved. The menu didn't specify lake perch or yellow perch, so I was expecting something cheaper like pike perch when it said the meal came with five pieces. Instead, it was yellow perch, which is fantastic, but I find it odd they give you two and a half butterflies instead of a full three. Raise the price a little if you need to and give us the full third butterfly.

They had an interesting numbering system as there were three columns, Door, Shelf, and Spot. If the beer I wanted was in door 7, shelf 3, spot 2 then I would tell the bartender I want number 732. Makes it easier for the bartender. One issue is that they purchase small batches of beer, so their menu might not always be updated. My friend ordered three beers and they didn't have them. A plus, the beer was CHEAP! I bought a 16oz Mobcraft tall boy (Milwaukee) for $3.50. I got another beer on tap for $4. I know in GB these beers would easily bet $5 or $6. I talked about my favorite my part, now time for the part I don't take care about as much. The bar is big and spacious. They have a dance floor. Ironically, I was there on a Saturday night so the loud music was bumping and lights were flashing everywhere.
