Famished after an 11 hour drive, I asked the hotel staff for pizza recommendations in Perry, Oklahoma. She said Simple Simon, hands down! We ordered a medium cheeseburger pizza with stuffed crust. It was INEDIBLE! The pizza had so much mustard on it, that all we could taste was mustard and since the mustard was underneath the toppings, it wasn't even possible for us to blot it off or scrape it off. Usually my online orders from Simple Simon's are delivered by the desired time and correctly. However, tonight I decided to go inside and place the order. We looked online and saw the specials for the Family Feast. We ordered the Family Feast and waited 30 minutes. We went back inside and saw that it was ready, however there were no breadsticks. I explained that I ordered the Family Feast but the cashier messed up and not only typed in the amount of cash given to her incorrectly but also failed to write down that order specifically and give us a receipt. After 5 minutes we were informed that we could pay the rest of the 4 dollars for it and receive our breadsticks but wait an additional 15 minutes. Why couldn't the cashier be more attentive and correctly write down what we ordered so that we didn't have to be in this predicament? Fortunately we have two pizzas but I am personally displeased since I waited for what I thought was going to be a correct order. Also the cashier was there that messed up the order and couldn't recognize me since I initially went in with a mask and the second time walked in without one. This pizza used to be so good. The past few times we have had it over the last year or so it just doesn't have much flavor. After the restaurant changed hands it seems like they are using lower quality ingredients. The cheese used to be better, the meats had much more flavor and they used to put more of the ingredients on the pizza. Guess we will be going back to Dominos for local delivery. read more

Before it was bought out we loved simple Simon's Pizza and came often. Amazing pizza, happy and well cared for employees, order always correct and most importantly fair and decent prices. More expensive than domino's but nothing super insane. We just got pizza here 2 nights ago and I was shocked by how bad things are. The employee said the AC was out and it was nearly 90 degrees inside even though she had the thermostat at 67. Our order was wrong, we ordered a regular crust cheese pizza and got a thin crust. Needless to say our kids weren't enthused. To top it all off it was $17 for one pizza. So long to the one topping pizza deal that simple Simon's always had for 10.99. I called and told them they got our order wrong and there was no offer to make it right. We won't be back. read more

One of the best pizza places in Kansas City. While it's off the beaten path in Basehor, they deliver to a lot of surrounding areas! They have a decent menu with pizza, calzones, pasta, and sandwiches. I've had the turkey sandwich recently and it's huge! It's loaded with meat, melted cheese and an amazing creamy Italian sauce. I don't know why it comes with a side of chips because I am too full from just half of the sandwich! Their Alpine cheese sticks are also really good. I haven't had anything there that I don't like! We hadn't been here for more than a year because the pizza just wasn't worth the drive or the money. We decided to give it a try-the mundane choice of Pizza Hut and Dominoes got the best of us...and thankfully so! It was delicious! We ordered 2 pizzas and 2 salads for pick up. Lesson learned........check your pizza before leaving. One of them was supposed to be half pepperoni half cheese. They took it literally! When we got home,, we discovered the side that was half pepperoni was ONLY pepperoni and sauce . . . NO cheese. Called in to complain and the manager said we could have a coupon for another pizza or we could wait another 45 minutes for them to deliver one. I would think since this was their mistake and we would have to wait almost another hour for another one, they would refund the amount of the pizza and send us a new one. Nope! I found this place online and decided to order 2 hawaiian calzones. first off the lady who took my order was so courteous and nice and didn't even get upset when I changed my order when I heard the price of what I previously ordered. my food arrived very prompt for they are the only place that delivers. The delivery guy was so sweet and friendly. and the calzone?.....hoodoggie!!!!! it was absolutely delicious!!! full of flavor, baked to perfection. Apparently with the frequency she mentioned "people in Afghanistan," she knows without a doubt they'd be happy to pay close to $40 to have their dinner made completely wrong. All being said, the pizza was corrected and I was refunded, but the rudeness was intolerable and as a result, we won't be back. I think the dynamic I see is this establishment resting on its being the only show in town that delivers and isn't a bar, so they don't see the need to keep customers happy.
