Came in a little closer to closing time so its not to crowded. Inside was very clean and well organized. Since its almost close to the holidays, i love that the decor in one side had such festive vibe and that all the holiday decors are in one area so you know where to look and not be all over the place. The items are of good quality and so I guess they are a little pricier compared to Tjmax and homegoods for example. Most of their furnitures are in very good condition as well. Spoke to three staffs today (11/5/22) for some questions (including manager and cashier) and all of them were very nice and helpful. I'd love to visit again soon!

I contacted Allyson from A and R and she agreed to meet with me in her store and assist me. I brought with me samples of the remodel tiles, fabric samples etc. She spent a good deal of time with me and also showed me a special paint line of BM I didn't even know about. She came up with the perfect colors. Then I was able to go down the street to the paint store she recommended me to to buy samples. I bought the 3 paint colors to NYC today and they were perfect. The furnishings in her store are different and beautiful and I will be back when I am at that point. She is a very talented decorator and very easy to work with as well. So, thanks a million. Best of all, they listened, captured, and implemented our design needs and style. When possible they worked with items currently in our home. Our first project, with A&R, was redecorating a room in which they added to the existing furnishings. The proportions of the furniture are perfect and they knew exactly where to put that special piece. Additionally, A&R has been very helpful with our remodel. Allyson had many great suggestions and assisted in avoiding pitfalls during the construction process. Sometimes it's the small details that really give your home that extra special touch. Communication throughout the process was great. During the design process, we were shown different options both at our home and the A&R showroom and were able to understand how everything would work together. Having an open floor plan, it was important that the colors were able to tie into other rooms. We were updated on manufacturer production schedule, inspection, and delivery. We have been very happy and look forward to using A&R again!

Didn't want to take anything we brought in, didn't listen, did not thank us, did not show ANY pleasantry what-so-ever. How can you treat a donor like that??? I don't understand why some of the volunteers are so nasty and irritable - don't do it if you can't do it nicely. Not hard.

But holy moly, they offer so much more than cards, stationery, and paper products: clothing, accessories (for winter: hats, scarves...), jewelry, water bottles, Goodr sunglasses, home decor items (candles, blankets...), chocolates, kids' toys, and a variety of gift items. What a fun and neatly organized store to explore. We found the cards we needed in the back of the store, and then stumbled upon the perfect gift for our bird-loving Aunt: bird seed ornaments in the shape of birds (so random but so spot on - she loved them!). She came across as passive-aggressive toward employees who were clearly working hard while she stood around doing nothing. On top of that, her behavior was blatantly racist. I am not a person of color, but the difference in how she treated customers was obvious. She repeatedly ignored non-white customers and followed them around the store as if she were waiting to accuse them of stealing. This is not the first time concerns like this have been raised about her, which begs the question: why is she still employed? Many people that I've talked to said they will not step foot in this store again as long as she remains the manager, and I am one of them. Her behavior made ME deeply uncomfortable and I wasn't even a 'target' for her. It's especially disappointing because the rest of the employees are wonderful, and I would much rather continue shopping there and supporting them than having to drive to another location. Fire. This. Woman.

The store has a small coffee shop inside, offering both food and drinks. A large bakery assortment and several savory options like quiche fill the showcase. Freshly baked cakes, pies, pastries, and other goodies line the display cases and look very inviting... Then told me I couldn't bring anything in and then walked off to continue his conversation with his buddy. Now I respect policies but this dude is something else. Theres a lot of ways to approach the situation and the way this old guy handled it, was not it. He thinks he's some sort of marshall and has no concept of how to talk to people even though he's dealt with the community for years. If you want to try bringing in your stuff, you'll see exactly what I'm talking about. Im sure their overall service is good but he needs a complete attitude adjustment or retire.

IN 1 LINE: A night of artistic learning and fun!…read more VENUE: The first thing I noticed was how big this art studio is, which allows for more than one class to run at the same time. My class was held in the back studio which made it feel like a private party. It even had an area with ice and glasses (wine and beer glasses) and a counter top to set up the desserts we brought.  *My family and friends were there to celebrate my birthday, and my mother said that all of the staff were very accommodating in hiding my ice-cream cake. :) Our instructor also gave many breaks and opportunities to eat and celebrate. I really enjoyed the music that played during the class too which created a casual and relaxing night. TEACHER: We loved our art instructor, Justine, who has the patience of a saint! She made the class fun and reassured all of us that we would all be able to complete the selected painting of the night. She was encouraging and lended her gentle guidance and expertise. We never once felt rushed, as each of us took our time to paint. She led us step by step, teaching techniques along the way. Thank you for a great night!
