I spilled fruit punch on my brand new 2 month old Macbook Air. Juice got inside and my laptop started malfunctioning. :( I poured rice thinking this would absorb the moisture but kinda make the situation worse. I knew this was going to be a very expensive $$$$ repair. I had apple care but of course the do not cover "water damage". I looked up a repair shop because I knew taking it to my local Apple Store would be expensive. I met to wonderful people, Chris & Ellen, they were extremely professional and very down to earth people. They both make an awesome team. My experience there for this first time was awesome. They both were not out there to get my $$$$, unlike other shops, they both looked into all sorts of resources to save me $$$$. When all sources failed, he was determined to help. Chris had definitely went above and beyond his service, he was able to get it running again in less than an hour. I thought I would have to leave my Mac there for a couple days for repair (yikes! its like leaving your baby with strangers) but Chris took care of me & my MacBook Air right away!!!! My brand new Samsung Galaxy S 3 jumped off my truck last week and shattered it's front glass as well as losing it's back. To Samsung's credit when I retrieved and reassembled the remains from traffic it sprang back to life and everything still works. I found Chris on Craigslist and called him for repair advice and he quickly dispelled my fantasy of just replacing the glass. The cost of repair and replacement of parts so far exceeds the insurance deductible that a new one is the only way to go. Chris did a great job repairing my wifes iphone. It was dropped in a puddle on concrete. Broken screen and no sound walking in, oem screen (he showed me the apple logos) and perfect sound walking out. Wasn't sure about leaving it but he pulled out a chair and let me watch.
