I've even called in a recent last minute emergency (literally three days before) that found someone's mom coming to stay for a few days. How they fit me in... I don't know... but even though it was a rush, they still managed to make the place sparkle. At first I thought it was strange that they used your cleaning supplies when possible, but now I understand what a benefit that is (and so does my cat)!!! anyway, whenever they are there, I come home to a perfectly clean apartment, and working with the guy who helps do quotes has been super simple. i don't think i will use anyone else, ever.

I asked them their hourly rate and they said they quote by the job; not the hour. Once they were there, they told my husband it would cost more and we agreed to pay the increase. Then, I had to have them come back as they missed a number of places in the kitchen and left crumbs, etc. I then asked for a quote for regular cleaning. Again, I was told it was by the job and they had different prices for once or twice a month. I asked for a usual cleaning (bathrooms, kitchen, vacuuming and washing floors) and we agreed on the price. When the cleaner arrived, she said, "what do you want me to do?" I said, "clean the house as per your proposal." She still did not seem to be clear on what I was looking for, so I volunteered to walk the house with her. She informed me that the price included a maximum of five hours (so there is an hourly rate?). I said, okay, when you're at about 4 1/2 let me know, and I'll prioritize what's left. Someone dropped by, so they left without even speaking to me. Then, I received a bill that was higher than the quote (again). I called and asked about it, and was informed that it had been six weeks since their quote and they start their timers the minute they walk in the door. They "didn't even charge me for the walkthrough." I believe everyone deserves to earn a living, but this is ridiculous. You can't quote one price and then charge more every time you come to someone's house. It's bait and switch. They saw the house before they cleaned it. The job they did the second time seemed okay, but why are you asking me what I want done if I already had a proposal? It's bait and switch and I want to warn others about their business practices.

I hired for residential cleaning. Two women came to clean the house and they were nice but did a very average job. I have hired cleaners before who were far more thorough at half the cost. There were areas of the house that were not dusted, etc. I actually truly don't know what they did in 6 hours; it looked like they did about 2 hours of work. However, if it ended there I simply wouldn't hire again and move on. The bigger problem was the cleaners accidentally let out our cat; I understand accidents happen but Marguerite's response was tacky, insensitive, and frankly made me even more mad. Marguerite essentially implied that I was wrong and wasn't looking hard enough for the cat. She did not apologize for the stress and frustration, meanwhile my 6-year-old daughter spent the afternoon crying about her lost cat. THEN Marguerite had the gall to send a message asking when I am going to rebook my next cleaning. When it was clear I was upset at her tactless response, she called to act apologetic and then said "So I'm guessing you're not going to pay then"... again, a comment that was triggering and in poor taste given the situation. I'm sorry, let me find my family pet that your team lost due to negligence before I rebook and you get on my case about payment. Poor customer service response all the way around. Honestly had her response been more professional and sensitive I would have viewed the whole situation far differently. My cat ended up returning, I paid for the cleaning (which was very overpriced), and when I offered Marguerite suggestions for her customers in the future-- to include conversation about pets in the intake-- she again made it seem like it was somehow my fault ("Usually customers just tell us when they have pets"). The whole tone of the experience was an example of what NOT to do in customer service, and on top of a stressful experience and sub-par overpriced cleaning anyway, I would absolutely not recommend doing business with this company.
