My husband and I went to Simply Good Burger for dinner. I am a huge burger lover so I am always down to try a new burger spot. We walked in and the young man at the cashier was very friendly and patient as we were deciding what to order. I ordered the Boss Hog. It was absolutely delicious. The patty was juicy, had the perfect amount of bacon and was super filling. I also order a side of the bacon loaded fries. I ordered without the jalapeño and habanero sauce because I am not a fan of spicy foods. Despite that the fries were very good. You can tell they were homemade fries and not frozen which I loved! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Food apparently gets done within 3 minutes. They don't care about customer service and are very lazy. Below is my complaint to Uber Eats- I cancelled the order w/in 5 minutes after calling because of this: Then the unprofessional person on the phone told the cooks I didn't want anything that was extra in the burger and I wanted it on the side (BASICALLY proving that they DID NOT finish my order they just didn't want to do the extra work). This business blamed the customer for their business flaws and uber eats deficiency. They gave me attitude and would not work with me. This is the most UNPROFESSIONAL ESTABLISHMENT I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED, PERIOD. They do not know what good business is and I had my order in for just a couple of minutes and they would not accommodate my request. I'm a minority who serves in the military and am currently deployed. This place when you walk in you're ready to get a dance one. The vibes in this spot is so welcoming. The workers are so sweet and friendly. If you want some great burgers this spot is a place to try. First thing first , one of the better burgers I've had in the central Texas area! I ordered the Mac daddy which is a Mac and cheese burger which a side of loaded Jalepeno cheese fries. The service was great with everything already packed up individually and still hot even though we ordered online. The restaurant itself was one that when you walked in you instantly knew this was got to SLAP, the environment was one that really left a good impression. As for the food.... The loaded fries got a 8/10 out of me , fries seasoned cheese hot and good. The Jalepenos gave it a very fresh kick ! First time at this small business owned by a lovely husband and wife, such a welcoming and friendly environment that instantly made my dad and I feel confident in our choice. ( the pictures displayed were a plus too ) I had the Boss Hog, loaded with crispy bacon bits, a nice sauce, savory pickles and melted cheese. My dad got the Big boy Floyd and devoured it. Both burgers were a great size for their price! You can tell the patties were hand made and seasoned perfectly; even the buttered broche buns were killer!
