Also, the woman who assisted me she knew her products. She started picking wigs for me and I was like Yessssss. She knew I needed a side bang /swoop after the middle part looked crazy. Also they let you try on here and I was so thrilled because ever since lock down many places are still not allowing people to try on which is so unfortunate. The variety is bountiful, they have very cute sunglasses, purses....very stylish. This store truly caters to the current times, trends, styles and generation. I think I found a new spot!!!!

On Wednesday 10/1/25 a relative of mine was simply just trying to get a flu vaccination. Three of the pharmacy staffs took a look at the insurance card and could not figure out if they accepted it or not. This relative of mine had been coming to this pharmacy for over one year already and had picked up many prescriptions using this one insurance card for coverage. The pharmacy staff decided that they needed a different card "prescription card" for one entire year that has passed not once was this ever asked before. My relatives information has been in the system for one year already. The young woman with very short-haired and glasses with black scrubs who seemed to have more seniority. Would not help the young man at the cash register who also had short hair and black scrubs. The young man seemed to be very frustrated and nervous. So he provided me with some information for my relatives insurance comp. My mentally disabled relative could not receive her flu shot due to the fact of the pharmacy staff stating the insurance card is has expired and is not in the system. My family and I left the pharmacy and went over to cvs in the same town since my relative has also used them over the years as well. The experience at cvs was so phenomenal. Not only was my relative greeted and treated so kindly, but was also given the flu vaccination using the same exact and only insurance card. This Walgreens Pharmacy really should be ashamed of themselves for the behavior me and my family witnessed and how my relative fell of victim to. A formal phone call complaint was made within the same hour and reported to the shift manager named Chris (female) who apologized on behalf of the pharmacy staff. Chris also stated that due to her position she didn't have the authority to oversee the pharmacy customer service.Chris also stated she will hand over the information to her overseeing manger Christina. Unfortunately Christina the main manager had just left for the day. Chris assured that a phone call back with an update would take place the following day. CHRISTINA THE MANAGER may have never received the information. My relative called back the next day,and received alot of hang ups, excuses for call backs. It became very unprofessional and distasteful and represents a big stain on the store. No accountability was taken and that is unacceptable. Today is October 5, 2025. It's in the hands of corporate management now. This absolutely needed to be spoken on the inappropriate, disregarded,discriminatory acts of customer service given by walgreens Pharmacy staff and store managers. I really hope this doesn't continue and a lesson is taught in how it's effortless to be kind to one another. Best regards.

There was one left and it was on sale! Score! I was then taken in by all of the seasonal displays and the massive holiday aisle. Thankfully, along several aisles, there are baskets stacked for your convenience. Because if you're like me, you come in for a couple things, and soon your hands are full! Story of my life. So I grabbed a basket and it didn't take me long to fill it with candies, gifts, cookies, stuffed toys, makeup and accessories. I also stocked up on travel items from the great inventory on the travel section on the back wall of the store. I picked up some magazines too! I saw some Pez dispensers, and it was tempting to add them to my basket as I was an avid Pez collector but I used my will power to leave them for another PEZhead! This store is well stocked, clean, organized, and the sections as clearly marked making it a breeze to navigate along the aisles. Check out was seamless and the employees were pleasant. What's not to like about this corner convenient pit stop and pharmacy? (The parking lot and front could use a tidy, but other than that, it's a easy quick stop for your seasonal, office, grocery, office, photo, household, & health and beauty needs).

I had an Ulta salon appointment with a stylist at this location and I would not book another. While…read morethe quality of her work was good, her general demeanor was off-putting. She started off my appointment stating I had booked a different service than what I was requesting. Then, I was told I should have selected a smoothing add-on when booking online since I have curly hair. This was all fine- I would have kept this in mind in case I wanted to book another appointment in the future but she seemed very inconvenienced by my overall appointment. Which I can understand having a tight schedule or being prepared for a different appointment but I would have preferred she had just requested I reschedule/ book a different service for another day than be made to feel like I was wasting someone's time for almost an hour. Mind you, we finished maybe only five minutes over my allotted appointment time. In the future, stylist requesting a reschedule/rebooking if a different service is required would probably be a better experience for both stylist and customer. I unfortunately won't book another salon appointment in the future.

I went there, hesitantly, after a hair salon recommended I go to look at the Wella Hair Color & Developer and swore that the staff would help me choose a color, answer any questions I might have about ingredients (allergic to Glycerin) and how to do the coloring system since it's different than L'Oreal that I used when I couldn't get to my hairdresser. Just as I thought would happen, I got very little help or assistance. I had to keep going from the front of the store over to her in the middle of the store to ask where I could find certain items that I had saved as Favorites on their App. I asked for help choosing a color and was told to pick what I think I might look good on me. I had questions about products I picked out but again, she wasn't that helpful especially when another worker came in and they started talking while stocking products. Oh and the young woman told me to go in YouTube to see how to put the hair color & developer together, etc. So if I do go back to Sally, it'll never be to the Wallingford store, ever. Hopefully the Hamden or another town's branch will have more helpful staff and a better store layout so it's easier to find products on my own.
