We stopped by after lunch, it was worth the stop as everybody enjoyed their sweet treats. I enjoyed a paleta, and my family enjoyed several scoops of ice cream. Good times.

I have never recovered from the first time I had pineapple ice cream. I was at DisneyLand waiting…read morein line for the Tiki show. I it was so creamy & delectable. I said on that day, "I will never find an ice cream this good ever again!" Now, this doesn't mean I don't eat ice cream. I do. But nothing compared quite to pineapple ice cream. Well, as time as gone on, I have had pineapple ice cream here & there (it's not very popular) and have enjoyed each moment. And then, this past Saturday, I am out on a bike ride with my wife, and I see this food truck called "Pineapple Bliss." And I exclaimed (out loud!), "wait! There is pineapple ice cream in NWA?!?!?!?!!!" So, we pulled up to the food truck. I noticed right away that it was lactose-free. All of sudden I was skeptical that this would measure up to my expectation of glorious pineapple ice cream. The young lady who worked the truck was kind and helped us understand the menu. They have a rolling menu of about 60 flavors that they change our every few days. We ordered the pineapple, of course..... and ...... it ..... was ........ perfect!! The consistency was spot on. The flavor was incredible. This is what I have dreamed of having in NWA. Now it is here. The lady asked if we wanted to try the other flavors. "Um....Ok!" said I. They had a cherry limoncello (super yum!), and a Ube (which is a purple yam -- sounds weird, but the flavor was excellent! I guess I like yam ice cream now too.... who knew, lol) All to say: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Best ice cream in NWA. It's off the beaten path a bit, but totally worth it! Salsa and chips are complimentary and the salsa was pretty decent. The tamale was okay, but not the best she or I have ever had. As far as the chile relleno goes, the salsa was flavorful, but the batter was pretty soggy all around. The rice was flavorful and had a great texture to it, though the frijoles refritos tasted like they were possibly from a can or mass-produced. The beans felt and looked like soup. I also noticed that the shredded cheese placed on top of both the chile y tamale was not melted. When reheated, the cheese held its position. Several birthday parties were being celebrated in the restaurant while we were there, and the staff and owner made sure that the birthday party crowds were celebrated by clapping and singing which was sweet and made the whole place feel festive! I intend to go back and try some other dishes to determine if some authenticity shines through other dishes/plates.
