Here's the story: I sent Katie at Shears in town a photo of my hair before and a photo of what I wanted to do. On the day of the big cut, I got in a few minutes early, showed her the photo again and had my hair clean and in it's natural state of curly/wavy. She sat me back in the wash chair to rinse my hair before cutting. I laid back in the chair- and she put HOT WAX ON MY EYEBROW! I panicked and yelled that I didn't say anything about my eyebrows and she proceeded to rip it off my face. I'm totally pissed and she just says oh it didn't take off much. Sorry. This should have been my cue to leave. She didnt even offer to fix it. She just had me move to the chair and faced me away from the mirror. I again showed her my haircut inspiration. She started to comb through my hair with a regular comb. I'm pretty sure this is the point at which she began talking to the other stylist. She said to me that she was going to cut my hair at my bra strap level (middle of my back) which would have been plenty long to do with what I wanted. Katie then started cutting my hair and chatting with the other stylist. I couldn't tell what she was doing because she had me faced away still. All the sudden she wheels me around, facing the mirror, proclaiming that she is finished cutting and I owed her $xx. She was supposed to dry and style my hair. But she rushed me out the door before I could even protest that she had cut my hair more than 4 inches shorter than we discussed AND she had put layers in my hair. I will NEVER go to Shears ever again. I walked in with hair that was touching my waistband and walked out with hair barely touching my shoulders. I can't wear it naturally curly because it would only be a curly bob. My hair will grow. It will be fine. I'm never going to her ever again.
