I was…read moreplanning on going to the pet store and to dicks, but I wanted to bring my dog to the pet store. Of course i didn't want to leave him in the car at dicks, so I called before I left and asked if they allowed pets- and they did! As long as they're leashed, you clean up after any accidents, well behaved and non aggressive (no aggression at *all*) they're welcome in the store! So my 8 y/o lab got to take his first trip to dicks today with me. We were greeted when we walked in, several people asked if we needed help finding anything, the store was organized, and the best part was there was nothing on the ground that my dog might potentially step on or eat which was fantastic. I was expecting it to be a bit dirty considering they have a mall entrance but it was very clean. Everybody was very friendly and helpful. My dog had lots of fun on his adventures today and I really appreciate the staff allowing us in. We got to work on some training and got some really good training in the store. I look forward to coming here with my dogs again in the future! Definitely going to be the reason I come here more often. Thank you to the employees! Side note- the mall is NOT pet friendly so please don't bring your pet in the mall. Go in through the outdoor entrance and DONT go into the mall with your pet. Please make sure they're well behaved and don't pee or poop on anything, not at all aggressive, leashed on a regular length leash, etc. if people don't follow this the privilege to bring them in will be taken away. Remember not everyone wants to see a dog in the store and they don't necessarily want to say hi to them. And dogs can also get very stressed in stores so if your dog gets stressed or you think they will, for their own sake please leave them at home! I'm hoping nobody will abuse this privilege to bring pets in and gets it removed because Finn would be very sad. Please don't make Finn sad! Thank you

There were two who were very helpful but the rest were not. A male worker began to start swearing and talking to his friends and coworkers. Someone they knew came in and she pulled off her mask and talked and drank while customers were near. Also, this same guy DEFINITELY SAW customers without their masks on in the store as they WERE LIGHTING A CIGARETTE. Last time I checked, that's never acceptable. It was very upsetting and an awful experience. I will NEVER go back to this store location and I almost stopped going to the whole Dicks franchise but I went to the Batavia location and it was SOO amazing. This store In particular though has way too many employees working. The entrance/exit always has about 5 people to simply greet you and then the cashiers standing around those five. Which made This visit very awkward. When I was checking out there was a huge and loud bickering session between the employees legit yelling at each other with who had more authority, very immature which makes sense sense since all workers were late teens or early 20s. It was very unprofessional and only seemed to heighten as they then tried enlisting more employees to the argument yelling across the store. Long story short, we went to another store and start to head home when we were pulled over by the police on the coldest day of the year they made us get out of our vehicle on the side of the road while they search for stolen jackets in our vehicle, which they found nothing. We asked the officer who made the statement that we shoplift a bunch of jackets and they said that we have to talk to the management cause they made the call and reported it. So ever since then we refuse to shop there, I gave it to the management that 2020 was a hard and difficult time to shop in stores, but you shouldn't racially profile people and put them in groups just because they're the same race do better.
