Prickell held me hostage refusing to giving me my vehicle refusing to work out payment plans demanding upfront $350 payment from a quote that a girl washing the car made just moments before and when I didn't have the $350 he says but you have to have somebody with the credit card that can pay that for you and then forced me to sit and wait while he stood guard to type out some bogus agreement and force me to sign it before he would give me my car back even went to the lengths of Standing Outside the bathroom door while I went to the bathroom to cried!! never been treated so poorly in my life all by Bigler Motors general manager Brough pickrell so after my Escape I said a few Choice words on my exit as the GM chased me out of the building!! That done, after 45 minutes waiting, the rep came out and told me that the part they had for my car had instead been installed on a new car in the lot. (I was told when I made the appointment that it was the last part they had, and they would save it for my vehicle). I was shocked to hear this, as this is a serious safety issue. I am not to fill the gas tank over half full, and Subaru instructed owners to park away from our house if the outdoor temperature rises quickly!! I chose a Subaru over several other vehicles, and now am seriously questioning their commitment to their customers. It seems that customer service should honor an appointment made to fix this, especially verses putting the part scheduled for my car onto a vehicle on the lot. I am currently waiting for them to get more parts in and I guess I'll try again. I am, so far, not impressed!!

Charged for $180 for something I already told them was broken…read more I came in for an oil change and I told them straight up my windshield washer pump was out and needed replaced. I already knew it was out. I wasn't asking them to "diagnose" it like it was some mystery problem. They charged me $57 for the oil change, then turned around and charged me $180 as a "standard service fee" just to tell me the pump was out and needs replaced... which is exactly what I told them when I walked in. When I brought it up to Kevin (service advisor) and asked what that $180 even covered, he said they might check wires and connections but when I asked what they actually did on MY vehicle, he had no idea. How are you a service advisor and you can't explain what was done, but you're still forcing a $180 charge? Kevin was also rude as heck about it. This is exactly why auto shops have the reputation they do because places like this will charge you almost $200 for nothing and act like you're the problem for questioning it.

Eddie could have easily said, "Sorry, that's your problem now," but instead, he took responsibility and made sure we were taken care of.
