An absolute must see in Northville! It is a store in the front and a tasting room in the back. There is a large selection of wine with friendly service to back it up. In the tasting room, there is chilled wine options too!

Very nice wine shop with a tasting room. They have unique sampling system that preserves the wine flavor with inert argon gas. This allows them them to sample numerous wines (16 were available). Sadly, the automated system can't be schmoozed into providing generous pours. Fortunately, it won't pour any sediment into your glass and adjusts the price accordingly if you get the last of the bottle. Also, when your wine card is almost depleted, either top it off or select a pour; it will dispense a wine quanta commensurate with the dollar amount remaining. Very friendly and helpful staff. The prices may not be very competitive, but it's a great place to "try before you buy". Recommend.

I just hosted my big sister's surprise 40th Birthday Party here. The setting was beautiful and the staff was so accommodating. Lindsey was the best. The wine was amazing. My sister had a ball. Parking is in the rear. Wine prices start at $1.50 a pour. Private parties are scheduled after they close. $100 per hour plus gratuity. We had an open bar for our guests and brought in our own food. My brother in law paid so I don't know what that cost for 25 people. He's still speaking to me sooooo it might not have been too high. This is the perfect spot for a girls night out. Me and my sister's will definitely be back.

I LOVE wine. All of my girlfriends love wine, too and we were lucky enough to stumble upon Simply Wine. It is fantastic! The staff is great and really knowledgeable. I feel Bad that they are often overlooked because of the clever wine machines. Ok, the wine machines are seriously fun to use but nothing beats a personal recommendation. This is a great addition to Northville. I have highly recommended it to all of the wine lovers in my life. You won't be disappointed.

Yes I won!!!!!!

I've been visiting Vine 2 Wine for two years now and plan on returning for many years to come. My…read morefirst wine bottling started as a birthday gift following a recommendation from my boss. Since then I've been back three times to bottle new wine with a fourth bottling scheduled in a few weeks. The process is fun and simple and always begins with store-owner Mark's custom greeting (I won't spoil it here). You or your group will be presented with samples of available varietals and blends along with some crackers to cleanse the pallet between tastings. Keep in mind you are tasting extremely young wine at this point which is just starting to show it's potential body and texture. Following your preferred selection (we like to guess each varietal and keep a running ranking) Mark takes over the heavy lifting and notifies you 8-10 weeks later when it's ready for bottling. If you enjoy wine tasting, bottling is a unique experience unto itself. You may bring your own cleaned bottles from home or purchase new wine bottles if necessary. Standard labels are available for each varietal or you can print your own. Bottling involves pumping wine through an aerator into each 750ml bottle, using a special press to apply the cork, sealing the cork topper over a tea kettle and affixing a label to the cleaned bottle surface. And of course you are sampling your current wine or future purchases the entire time. Your wine must stay vertical for a week after bottling before laying flat. I recommend storing your wine for 3-6 months before opening the first bottle and from that point opening a new bottle every few weeks to taste the difference in the aging process over the following 6-18 months. What started as a gift to myself has grown into a quarterly hobby for a small group of my wine loving friends. We start the tasting process fresh after each bottling and use the downtime to come up with new wine label designs and enjoy previous purchases. I hope your visits to Vine 2 Wine turn out as well as mine!

We even ordered more wine! I can't wait to go back and pick it up! Marc the owner is very fun and funny! Anyone that thinks otherwise probably has a personality of a wet mop! I defiantly recommend this place to anyone looking to have a good time and try something different!

The art house worked with Maybury State Park to have a group of local artists go for 3 days and produce paintings that shows the beauty and places in the park. Most did 3 or 4 paintings in different type of mediums depending on the artists strengths. The group went to the Live @ 5 Reception that opened the exhibit. Tickets were $35 for non members. Appetizers, 2 drink tickets, and live music from a harpist and a flute player from the Michigan Philharmonic. You also got to look at the art, shop the gift shop, meet some of artists and see the awards given out for the top pieces. A pleasant way to spend part of an evening talking to other art lovers and enjoying a cool summer evening while helping out a local organization that supports the arts. Looking forward to the event in September.

Viewing the exhibit is free of charge but donations are welcomed. The current exhibit is "Art That Pushes Boundaries" featuring the work of local artists. In addition to the exhibit, I noticed that a painting canvas kit was available for donation. The art house offers in-person classes including visual art training. Wouldn't it be nice if every town had an art house with exhibits and art education programs like this one? This is a wonderful community resource and I will be stopping by whenever there is a new exhibition.

They have a wide knowledge of brewing, grapes, and go out of their way to make sure each customer feels taken care of. This is the place for top notch customer service. It is an adorable barn feel with an inside sitting area, an outdoor space, and a loft where you can listen to music or see some comedy. They have a very extensive variety of wines and a nice beer list that goes from light, to fruity, to IPA, to dark. I loved the ability to be able to have small portions of beer and wine so I could sample a lot without feeling sick from drinking too much. They offer they drinks in a two ounce size, then two larger glass sizes. The prices of the drinks are pretty good as well. They have a small menu of food. We tried the pizza and it is not bad for a tasting room, but not too over the top. The price on the pizza was not bad, especially with prices these days. They also have a mixed drink menu that was quite extensive. The prices on those drinks were fairly good as well. They told us their espresso martini was the best in the area. I would tend to agree, probably the best in the area, but for me, not the best overall. To be honest we have been doing an espresso martini tasting tour around the US and there is a lot of competition, but it is definitely something to try here. I would try a rum drink personally next time, since their tropical drinks sounded delicious. The beer game in Michigan is also pretty stiff competition. We do live in a state where we have one of the top cities for beer world wide. But since they do offer about eight flavors, there is something for everybody here. This place is a really fun time to hang with friends and family.
