Stumbled upon the lounge after dining at Browndog Barlor. Upon walking in we had just missed the live show so I will definitely have to check out their website and go back to catch a live show. Feeding is open and you can sit anywhere where a table light is not turned on. Please sit in a cozy corner booth and order cocktails. I was so tempted to try this cocktail that was priced at $75, it is listed as a luxury pour but it sounded so good. I will have to treat myself one day and order it to see if it's worth the cost. LOL I guess since I'm posting a review, I can't gate-keep this one, but it's worth sharing. Lol read more

WOW!!!! What an awesome spot for a night on the town. We have been to NOMI a few times over the past few months. They have a variety of excellent cover bands and shows throughout the week. Great food and excellent cocktails on the menu. I would most certainly make a reservation if you plan to get a table. They also have the main bar open during the week, if you just wanted to stop in for a cococktail. read more

Small, nicely decorated place with seating at the bar plus little tables for two, or longer tables and a large booth for bigger parties. We came here for a meet-up group outing for the burlesque show. Since we were on the side with the bigger seating area (and the bathrooms), the wait staff trekked back and forth in front of the stage the whole performance (from the kitchen to the bar). Drinks were good, fries not so much - they were underdone for my liking. Ample free parking across from the where the lounge is located - inside a building with only a small sign set up outside the door to point the way. read more

NOMI is a new addition to Northville, slightly oddly placed in an indoor mall. We went for dinner, which in retrospect was the wrong choice. NOMI is a good place for drinks, a couple small plates, and entertainment. Their food was not strong enough to be a dinner location. The interior is beautiful, and consistently 20s themed. The cocktails were great. The food however was the hit or miss part. We had a large group and were able to try a large portion of the menu. Very good: beef skewer Good: chicken, truffle fries Average: Tuna tar tar, lamb, board Not worth it: salmon, trio of dips, beet salad I did love the atmosphere and would return. read more

Stopped in here last night and was impressed with the setup. Very elegant and well lit. The seating was very comfortable and speakeasy feel. The service was good but the pricing for food and drinks were Chicago style prices. $18-$25 is pretty steep per drink and the food was similarly priced. I would say these prices are not outrageous if your drinks are top notch and the food is insane but the drinks were good and the food was good. Overall I might come back here but it wouldn't be my first choice. Cocktails around the corner are $15 and on the same level. read more

SO much fun! This place is amazing, beautiful and so much fun!! Wow- Northville needs Nomi :) and we are so glad to finally have a Speakeasy and place to go in the area. 5-7 is a mellow, quiet time 7-9 is when the band plays (We saw Band J- so fun, great music, diverse songs from Michael J to Beyonce & more). I thoroughly enjoyed the live music! 9-11 is another set- wish we could've stayed for it 11+ Dancing the night away I can't wait to go back in a few weeks (heard they will have the mixologist then). Sleepy Northville wake up!! Because this is the place to be! Great job from the decor to service to perfectly crafted drinks top notch! Charcuterie board and calamari was delicious and plentiful. Great experience each time I've been! The only negative feedback I'd have is that the tables by the performers are awesome; however, when people start to dance, they are so close to your table and food/drinks that it is not enjoyable anymore. Perhaps they can make room a bit more to the right for the dance floor. read more

They are really welcoming! Can't wait to go back. The chicken was soo juicy and the flavor was everything. The salmon was perfectly cooked. We met here for the first time with some friends and did not know what to expect. It was an amazing venue, small plates and music. Cozy setting with mood lighting as in a speakeasy atmosphere. The staff was very attentive all night. Hailey was our server and was amazing. We tried almost all the small plates we loved the truffle fries, Korean beef and hummus board were our top three. Craft cocktails were unique and fresh tasting and even have non alcoholic cocktails. Trilogy band play and did a great job to keep the night going. This is a great hidden gem!! Where to begin! The wait staff so lovely and inviting. Knowledgable!! The food was unique and delicious. I truly would love to work in the kitchen to learn some of these dishes. And the music tonight - George Dudley, a handsome man with a voice so smooth and deep - sang with the artistry of an old soul and made my decades drop away. I think this place has a lot of potential but seems it's catered more towards the late night party crowd. We went from the 5-7pm window when there was no music and the place was mostly empty. We did catch a little of the 7pm band but didn't stay long since we work early. It would be nice to see some type of live music also in the 5-7 window, maybe a solo artist, just to add some ambiance and entertainment. I think the waitstaff needs to work on learning the menu and the bands performing that evening, as every time we asked a question, the server had to go ask someone to get the answer. If they decide to add entertainment to the 5-7 window then we will be back, otherwise we will be going elsewhere for our happy hours. The Malbec was good and I do appreciate Nomi bringing live music to Northville though! The city could use some livening up to compete with Plymouth. read more

I came for the live music and was pleasantly surprised by the whole experience. From the non-descript no-signage entrance (in true speakeasy fashion) to the excellent selection of spirits and the glittery dresses of the waitresses. There are no windows to see outside and the ceiling and walls are black or dark colored so you feel like you're in a private hideaway... but the bar and liquor shelves are beautifully and brightly backlit. The diffused lighting from the bar area is enough to easily see everything, especially the food. You'll find excellent options for salads, charcuterie, appetizers, and more. Some are labeled on the website as Vegetarian and the Chef Mucari speaks gluten free. My friends and I had the gluten free version of the tuna tartare. Very flavorful and beautifully presented. The live music takes place on a well-lit stage and includes some dynamic lighting and house speakers in the ceiling throughout the restaurant. The staff is friendly and the manager was present and attentive. The prices are a bit more than a local tavern (which this is NOT) but you'll appreciate the value and the experience. read more

Great spot to go for live music in Northville! An upscale entertainment venue is something our town has needed for a long time. I have been a few times and the bands are always top notch. The servers are attentive, the drinks are unique and the food was tasteful. My husband particularly liked the lamb chops.
