This month we needed someone to do a crosstown move for our son. Two Men's quote was extremely high so I researched a bit and found the stellar reviews of Just-In Time Moving. Since their quote was almost half the price (!) we decided to give them a try. You wonder if paying less means inferior service or other problems. That wasn't the case at all. Communication was great. Eric and Miguel showed up right on time (one of those dreadful 110° Phoenix heat advisory days) and worked quickly and carefully. We were very happy to have found this company and are pleased to say they'll be our local movers going forward.

Just-In Time Moving truly helped me out of an emergency situation…read more I had originally hired another moving company, Not Your Husband Moving, and ended up in a terrible situation where I was billed for more than double the estimated hours for the move into storage and the move was not completed as originally estimated. I needed to get my household goods out of their storage quickly to stop the situation from getting worse. Just-In Time Moving was gracious enough to fit me into their schedule last minute. Their office was communicative, their estimate was thorough and clear, and the final bill matched what they estimated. The crew showed up on time, communicated throughout the day, and was professional, careful, and kind. This was not a simple move. They had to unload my furniture and belongings from storage crates, unwrap items that had been wrapped by the prior mover, take care with everything, rewrap my furniture, load it, transport it, and unload it into my new storage unit. They completed the entire job in 7.5 hours. By comparison, the prior mover had tried to bill me 16.5 hours for the move into storage alone. Just-In Time Moving did a fantastic job, and I am extremely grateful they were willing to help me on short notice. After the experience I had before them, their professionalism, clear communication, and honest billing meant everything. My advice to anyone hiring movers: read all reviews carefully, do not take online ratings at face value, check whether the company is listed with moversaz.org, review BBB ratings, and read how the company responds to 1-star and 2-star reviews. I wish I had done more research before hiring the first company. I am very thankful I found Just-In Time Moving when I did.

All of the big name interstate movers turn down small sized interstate moves. I must have called 12 different movers; which included the well known companies and some of the smaller ones. The local companies are happy to take your business for intrastate moves; but not interstate moves. I was concerned when no contract was required by Brandon. However, this guy can be trusted to perform what is agreed upon with just using text messaging. He is also very careful with fragile pieces; taking great care in delivering them in one piece. Some movers suggested shipping our boxes. However, this is not an inexpensive option. Plus ,unlike Brandon, who carries your boxes out of the unit and into your destination ( we have three levels ); the usual shippers require delivery to the store and drop off at the eventual destinations front stoop. Tim and his staff were very gracious in being able to help me twice in essentially the same week for both moves I had, going to and from the same locations. I appreciate him and his company for their help and I plan on reaching out if I ever end up having another domestic move here in the future! As a side note, he charges/quotes based on the furniture you have over hours of service. I found this to be cheaper than other companies out there (especially if you just have one room of furniture like I did) so he's really nice for smaller moves like mine and I recommend him as well because of this. He even helped my mom take an old TV stand to consignment for us which was very much an appreciated favor of his company with the original job and furniture that I had with him.

We moved from AZ to TX and upon our furniture being unloaded in TX we found that the center…read moresupports had been broken on our TV stand and our daughter's dresser. The movers in AZ had known this was broken because the leg for the dresser was wrapped in plastic and shoved under the tarp covering the dresser. We were never informed that it had been broken. We filed a claim, since this was a brand new dresser and it's unsafe to have in our baby's room. We were denied because we did not inform the movers it was broken before they left the premises in AZ, but to know it was broken we would have had to been able to inspect all the furniture in the truck which is impossible to do when it's loaded. Plus, if the movers knew they broke it, we should have been notified by them. Getting a response from our claim agent takes multiple follow ups, where they tell me the same information and do not answer any of my follow-up questions, despite telling me to reach back out if I have any questions. Moving is always a stressful time, and now we have the added stress of trying to receive some compensation so we can replace furniture that was knowingly broken.

As we were packing we discovered the amount of items we needed to store were expanding. Judy realized they didn't have a 3rd unit and called several other local storage facilities in an attempt to help me locate one. When that didn't come to fruition, Judy emptied the unit they use to store their items for the facility and rented that to me as well. The place is clean and secure. Easily accessed. If I ever need storage again, I will call Greenway Mini Storage first. And I have and will continue to recommend them to anyone who asks.

Her positive attitude is contagious. She helped me with my storage needs. She was very thorough. She walked me through the property. The property is very nice. It looks brand new and extremely clean. It is centrally located, and unlike most climate controlled facilities. That one is actually cold inside. One of the things I noticed while touring the property was Renee knew all the renters that were on the property by name. I thought was wonderful. Throughout my three visits to the property to Renée was on site. One thing I will mention is being a store manager. I seen her personally with the cleaning cart and gloves on cleaning storage units cleaning as well as the facilities. As a manager myself, I thought her leading my example was amazing. She also checked on me to make sure I was doing OK because it was hot outside while unloading my U-Haul unit. She's very hands-on. She has a great personality. This store facilities is a very lucky to have her. I would highly recommend the facility based off of how clean it is, how well kept it, it's very centrally located in Phoenix. And of course, because of Renee.

Rebecca was incredibly friendly and got us scheduled the very same day within a couple hours upon calling, which we really appreciated. The delivery driver, Jerry, was also fantastic--professional, friendly, and very thorough during pickup. He took great care loading the dumpster back onto his truck and even went the extra mile by sweeping up the debris that had collected underneath using a broom and dustpan. I was looking for a recycling center that accepts soda cans, soda glass bottles and plastic water…read morebottles. This place only accepted my soda cans. They just don't accept plastic or glass bottles here. This place looks like a dump but the customer service is very fast and efficient. Most of the workers here are Spanish speaking so hopefully you can make out what they tell you. My Spanish is Sykes rusty so I only understood 5% of what they said. All in all, this was a pleasant experience. Obviously, you're not gonna get rich by recycling anything but it does give you some pocket change to maybe buy a lottery ticket or two. I don't recall what the exact redemption value was for bringing in your unwanted cans for cash but I got around 50 cents for maybe 1.5 lbs of soda cans. Almost enough for a $1 lottery scratcher. The workers here will unload your trunk for you and weigh it all and than give you the proper amount of money. Fast service and you don't even need to lift a finger besides opening your trunk that is. I'm from Hawaii and back home, you can actually pay a utility bill or cell phone bill with your recycling money. Not here in Phoenix, it's a totally different process here so I'm gonna start trashing all my recyclables instead. Hope this helps my fellow planeteers!!

I could not more highly recommend Elliot, his crew and Sterling Interstate. His business model, the care he takes in choosing who works for/with him results in an experience that belies most preconceptions of the moving industry. They were awesome! After what packing I'd done myself inside the house, and with the prospect of "the garage", I was pretty stressed and overwhelmed when Elliot and his crew arrived. From the very beginning they put me at ease and assured me the work ahead would be easily do-able. They showed me moving was a combination of labor but more importantly a matter of teamwork and art. They packed "everything", right down to scrap shop wood and a collection of bricks. And it was done with a smile and an assurance that their job WAS to make this stressful event as easy as possible for me. That was repeated with every heart felt thank you I directed their way. They asked me about packing stuff that had simply become invisible to me over the years. They pointed out numerous fake plants on the pot shelves and asked if they were to be loaded. I told them I wasn't taking them and I couldn't find anyone who wanted them. I said they were going, like so much other stuff had, to Goodwill. They offered to drop them off at Goodwill themselves and loaded them into one of their personal vehicles. They offered to take my suitcase to my truck. They helped me load my second vehicle onto the trailer behind my truck. When all was loaded up and ready to go two of the crew, Dave and "the Hulk" immediately left in the huge truck and set out at once for New Mexico. They drove all the way to Las Cruses that night. The next morning I caught up with them in Las Cruses and we were only about 20 minutes apart arriving at my new home. They negotiated the truck up the significantly steep dirt road to my house and maneuvered the truck expertly in the driveway/parking area of the house. I had serious reservations of whether or not it could be done and they did it with an expertise that I hadn't believed possible. Within a few hours they had everything unloaded and placed within the house. None of my possessions were damaged. Neither house was even scratched throughout the process at either end. They even helped shuffle things in the garage so I could put the car in the garage. The entire process was extraordinary and I can't describe adequately how much at ease they made me feel. If anyone was "on the fence" when considering using Sterling Interstate to safely and professionally move their possessions, I would wholeheartedly encourage them to trust Sterling Interstate. Their friendliness, teamwork, care and professionalism exceeded any expectation I had imagined (and by a wide margin). read more

I couldn't be happier with my experience with this moving company! Moving from Phoenix to Boise was a huge step, and I was nervous about finding a company I could really trust. From the start, they went above and beyond every expectation I had. One of the things that really stood out was that they came to my home in person to evaluate the move. Other companies I called only offered to do estimates over the phone, but this team took the time to come out, assess my belongings, and give a more accurate and personal quote. This small step made a world of difference and gave me a lot of confidence in their approach. Another amazing part of the experience was that I got to work directly with the owner. It's rare to find someone so invested and hands-on, but the owner was there every step of the way, answering questions and making sure everything went smoothly. They were friendly, professional, and genuinely cared about making the process as stress-free as possible for me. The moving team was incredible. Not only was every single staff member friendly and approachable, but they also handled all of my belongings with such care. They packed and loaded everything as if it were their own, being cautious and mindful of fragile items. On top of that, I loved that I got the same team on both ends of the move. Knowing I had the same movers unpacking who had packed everything gave me so much peace of mind--they already knew what was in each box, where fragile items were, and how things were organized. And finally, let's talk price! They were the most reasonably priced of all the movers I received quotes from, which was a huge plus, especially considering the high level of service. With many companies, you either get affordability or quality, but this company delivered both. Overall, I can't recommend this moving company highly enough. They took what could have been a stressful, overwhelming experience and made it seamless and even enjoyable. Do you want good customer service? choose Sterling. I inquired on their site about a small move - 5 large pieces of furniture and some boxes. Nanci answered my query promptly and advised me since they have dedicated (only 1 customers items) per truck, they might not be the best choice for me cost wise. the items were traveling from Phoenix AZ to San Antonio Texas. Nanci added that they would be happy to discuss my specific needs and give me a price so I called the next day and she was right, the price was a bit out of my range given the small amount I needed moved. she then went on to tell me if I was considering moving the items myself, that U-Haul provided movers. didn't know that! Bad knees and lower back problems, not sure if friends could help ....etc. Went to U-Hauls site and indeed they do provide this service. so although Sterling was not a good fit for my small move I would highly recommend them for anyone needing to move a house or apartment. their reviews on Yelp are what led me to them and without Nanci's suggestions, I would never have found a solution. We recently had Sterling Interstate movers help us with loading our Uhaul moving truck for a move cross country and I must say that they were probably some of the best movers we have ever used. They worked supremely efficient, careful and took the most concern for our items and made sure they were properly loaded for our long distant move. First off, we reached out to Nanci to receive a quote, and she was very accommodating, honest, forthcoming and extremely professional when giving us prices and what to expect from our contract. Everything she mentioned is what happened and there were no hidden surprises or unexpected charges. The movers showed up ready to dedicate their time to us and while 2 of the movers were moving everything and taking care to wrap everything nicely (Mark and Dante), another mover (J.B.) was using extreme skill in loading the truck to its max capacity (was like watching a master at Tetris). All of our items arrived to our new location without ANY shifting or damage thanks to the care they took in loading our items. Will highly recommend them to ANYONE moving in Arizona. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Nanci, Elliott and Ron were absolutely the best for my move from AZ to NC. Moving cross country is always stressful, but the team at Sterling Interstate made it super easy, all the way from the initial estimate to the arrival of my items at my new house. It was like I had a friend driving my moving truck cross country and Ron made sure I always knew where he was and when he was stopping/starting for the day. I had them tow my car also and Ron understood the importance of keeping everything safe. I had complete peace of mind while waiting for the truck to arrive, which meant the world to me. Upon arrival, they packed everything very carefully and wrapped all items as needed. Everything arrived in NC without a hitch and absolutely as I left it in AZ 3 days earlier. I'd have to say, from booking Sterling to moving day has been fantastic. Just smooth. I think it was the main guy of the company, maybe his name was Ron I talked to who booked everything. He was friendly and efficient. He asked me what my needs were and let me know what to expect. George and Robert arrived a little bit early today, which was perfectly fine. Because why not get the day started early!! George and Robert greeted me with smiles, their names, and a handshake. They were very efficient, courteous, friendly, and timely. Elliot, Nancy, Rob, Grant and the entire team at Sterling Interstate were fantastic from the moment I contacted them for our move from Seattle to Phoenix through the final walk-thru after they delivered and set up our furniture. They were professional, helpful, on time, responsive and fairly priced. We heard so many horror stories about movers with surprise charges and holding your belongings hostage or not delivering for weeks after the due date that we really looked hard at Sterling. They were properly licensed, insured and no complaints filed. And best of all they did exactly what they said they would do for exactly the price they quoted. My husband and I have gone through many moves, but none were as smooth as what we experienced with Sterling Interstate! Our move was out of state, and from the very beginning, Elliot made the dreaded process a breeze. He always got back to us immediately when we had questions, and was a delight to work with. Our movers, Grant and Reggie, were courteous and very thorough in taking the time to carefully wrap our furnishings and in dismantling beds, our large dining table, etc. They made sure all of our possessions were packed securely in the Truck and Trailer, and when they arrived at our new home to unpack us, all went without a hitch. Packing day - we had an amazing friendly team to help us, and on moving day - the same team - was fantastic. They worked extremely hard and didn't slow down. Top notch experience and very professional. Sterling made the move from AZ to the East Coast easy and stress free. Starting with Nanci answering all our questions and being so helpful with information! Alex, who came to the house to see what was needed and accurately figured out the truck size and gave us a quote in a timely manner. Special shout out to the movers Robert, Rachman and Demarcus the talented "wrapper". They packed the truck in no time and gave updates each day of the drive across the country. I had contacted several companies, many of which said they would send someone out for an estimate, but never showed. Elliot at Sterling came by ON TIME and provided a thorough estimate. I've used other moving companies in the past. After looking through their reviews, I was hesitant. My real estate agent referred me to Sterling Interstate. I can easily say it was one of the easiest and most stress-free moves I've ever had. Props to JB, Dante, and Danzel (sorry if I misspelled the names). There were friendly and professional. They arrived 10 minutes early, ready to go! They shrink-wrapped literally everything. Not a single scratch on anything. In fact, there wasn't a single issue with the entire move, which is pretty rare. This is what you've imagined movers should be. We've had several movers in the last several years. Sterling Interstate is leagues above them all. The company and movers are simply exceptional, kind, courteous, and considerate. The mover dudes arrived on time and were quick and efficient at getting us loaded and moved. They arrived at our destination almost 1200 miles in just 2 days. For the first time, we had NO damaged or missing stuff! Honestly I wish I could leave Elliot and his team a 10 star!! They were all AMAZING!!! He agreed to come load up the truck a day in advance so that we could hit the road first thing in the morning from Phoenix to Los Angeles. I had spoken with 3 other moving companies and I can tell you none were willing to be as accommodating. Even after the 6 hour drive they were all great. They got the truck emptied in no time and made sure that everything was to our satisfaction. I highly recommend these guys. Let's be honest, moving sucks. SUCKS. Especially during the summer in Phoenix where it's frequently over 100F. I submitted an inquiry after talking to some of Sterling's crew who were at my complex a couple of weeks ago. Heard back from Nanci within minutes, who helped me with a quote and then set up the moving date. JB and Marcus showed up on time and were awesome to work with! They handled everything with care and had to move some heavy items like a sleeper sofa down stairs that had turns. They were also great to talk to and we had some good laughs. I have never been more impressed with service than I was with Elliot and his team (Alex and Christian) on my recent move.
