Our experience with Brandon Parker was better than spectacular! This individual makes your move a dream. He is a man of his word, on time, and works harder than most. All of the big name interstate movers turn down small sized interstate moves. I must have called 12 different movers; which included the well known companies and some of the smaller ones. The local companies are happy to take your business for intrastate moves; but not interstate moves. I was concerned when no contract was required by Brandon. However, this guy can be trusted to perform what is agreed upon with just using text messaging. He is also very careful with fragile pieces; taking great care in delivering them in one piece. Some movers suggested shipping our boxes. However, this is not an inexpensive option. Plus ,unlike Brandon, who carries your boxes out of the unit and into your destination ( we have three levels ); the usual shippers require delivery to the store and drop off at the eventual destinations front stoop. I honestly was a little worried because he was so laid back about everything before the move, and I was so nervous, but he ended up being the best mover I could have possibly picked for an out of state move. I couldn't more highly recommend this company. We hired them to move us from AZ to San Francisco and Brandon and his team handled every detail with such care! This move was SO HARD and they did it beautifully!!! I researched METICULOUSLY to find movers and I must tell you - you can save yourself some time and call Brandon right now!! He included all the wrapping materials we needed, and even a few wardrobe boxes in our cost. I rarely write reviews but I had an experience with Parker's Interstate Movers that compelled me to write one. I'll try to keep it short because I want to ensure people actually read it. I had a different moving company lined up to move my family from Phoenix to South Carolina. My contract with them was only good for 6 months but I knew it would be 8 months for our house to be built. The other mover said no problem, we'll issue a new quote in six months. Don't worry, it won't go up much. I got my new quote yesterday and it went up 50%. Not exaggeration; calculator said 50%. That was a financial hit I can't afford so I started calling other movers. I called Parker's Interstate Movers and spoke with Brandon. At the time I didn't know he was the owner. It was an exceptional and rare experience. I explained my situation and Brandon asked a few questions. He quickly determined that the job was too large for his fleet of trucks and that using multiple trucks wouldn't be cost effective. Over the next three and a half hours Brandon continued to work with me. Despite knowing we wouldn't be doing business. He gave advice about finding a good replacement mover and provided names of companies he respected. He gave me estimates on what fair pricing would be so that I would know a good price when I saw one, as well as many other things. I felt like I had hired a moving consultant! It was only when I texted him with my praise and thanks and requested he he show the owner the text that he identified himself as the owner. This guy is a one man show and not professional. He came gave me a quote which I accepted then when it came to move day he showed up by himself and his one helper who was great was 3 hours late but that was because Brandon will only pay for help for 2 hours but will tell you he has a crew. He complained the whole time about how heavy items were and how ikea furniture is better On arrival in California to Arizona more dishonesty. He had me meet him at 9:30 and claimed his help was stuck in traffic that he subbed out. They were great guys but he only booked them for 2 hours from 12pm to 2pm. Again never discussed. Not the 3 man crew I was promised. He was mad that I was wanted him to hurry and get out by 3pm as I had stuff to do. The unload should have taken 2-3 hours, not over 5. No consideration for the customer and so much whining. He kept telling me that he was giving me a deal even though there was no negotiation or haggling. My stuff got here and he tried to make it up at the end but I am just glad to be done.
