Another 10 minutes go by and sales rep #2 asks if I've been helped. Advised him on the status. He called sales rep #1 to check status. Sales rep #2 said they don't have the shoe. Sales rep #1 never once followed up with me after the initial contact. By this time I was so disappointed and frustrated with the terrible service that I left the store without new hiking shoes!! Eventually, I did discuss it with the owner, Rex, who assured me that I would be treated better. He even put me in direct contact with a manager there to deal with... so I gave it a second chance and purchased the rifle. As a 'thank you' and a 'sorry you were treated that way', they gave me and my friend (who also bought a rifle) some give cards for range time. Each card was supposed to have two trips. When I went in and tried to use my card, they rang up the range etc, and then kept the card. So I tried to explain that it was for two range visits and explained to the manager what happened previously. He even remembered what happened, and acknowledged that I was given the extras, but doubled down and said "no, you're only getting one trip to range time" and basically dared me to report to Rex. So I tried. I notified Rex via text message that I was again treated terribly,. He was away on vacation and told me that he would address it when he got back. I never heard from him. The other reviews are right. It is a nice place and clean ranges.... BUT... the customer service can be the worst you've ever seen, and the prices are high. Now I can see paying higher prices for a nice place with excellent customer service... but customer service can be as important as the product you buy... and if you're getting service as bad as this place gives... then you're paying way too high a price. I've seen Rex respond to reviews, and in those responses he states that he wishes they would reach out to mgmnt first before posting bad reviews.... but what about when you reach out to the owner (Rex) directly and he doesn't respond? But sadly, this place is a shadow of what it once was. All the employees I've grown to like: Attila, Donovan, Rob, John, Mike, Paul, they have gone from the company citing issues with management. The quality has gone down to far since then, and I don't see myself ever returning. While I was there, the gunsmith did take good care of my guns. The range was relatively clean both in archery and firearms. The membership was expensive. For nearly $100/mo for a family plan, you get access to a 17-yard firearm range. Most other places have 25-300 yards, with even one having 100 yards indoors for the same monthly price! Overpriced to say the least. For what the price is, you can go elsewhere and have been amenities. Look elsewhere unless you are just coming in for a day or two.

I recommend doing the same if you want to get the same attention and help I got. I'm sure they still give good customer service either way but I can't verify that myself. They had everything we needed to start our biking journey. The only negative thing I will say, the helmets were super expensive. They had many colors and options but I didn't want to spend $100+ on a helmet that seemed to be the same quality/materials as any standard helmet. Wish they had other cheaper options for helmets. Also the glove selection was not the greatest. Given that everything else that was so great, these two small complaints aren't too big of a deal. If your looking to get into biking, come here!
