I love it, everyone is informative and makes the store very welcoming. As well at the cats. The only reason I'm not rating 5 stars. Is because the Gun smith area, ONLY because the lack of communication. I had a firearm that was getting parts, tested and tuned. The estimated time that was said the fire arm would be completed was 10 days. The whole time my fire arm was there, I didn't get a SINGLE update on how everything was going and what was needed (if anything) to get it functioning properly. I waited 14 days, gave them a call to see if it was ready for pick up. I was informed they they were having trouble. So I just let it be and waited a whole month and about a week. Till I decided I was just gonna pick it up and take the fire arm elsewhere to get the work done. Because I still didn't get a single notification or update on my fire arm. HOWEVER. When I got there to pick it up, I was told, my firearm has been done....... Again I was never informed or updated on it, no message, no email, no call. Nothing. After picking it up, I went out to see If the fire arm will work as it should... and sure enough... it was ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS. The gunsmiths are GREAT at what they do, no doubt about it. There's just no communication and, I get it. They are a big store, they are popular and have a lot of work on their hands, but a simple update here and there goes a long way!

To be fair, the shop did make multiple attempts to call me to come pick up the firearm, and I take responsibility for not getting there sooner. It simply wasn't a priority at the time. What I did not realize was that after 60 days, they can sell the firearm if it has not been picked up. They do disclose this policy on their website, so I want to be clear about that. However, because I purchased the firearm elsewhere and only had it shipped to this shop, I never had a reason to visit their website or review their terms and conditions. My biggest disappointment is that during the multiple attempts they made to contact me, no one ever communicated something as simple as, "If you don't pick up your firearm by this date, it will be sold." Had I known that, I obviously would have made picking it up a priority. So they did sell my rifle. So while I acknowledge that they attempted to reach me and that the policy is posted online, I think a much better customer experience would be to clearly communicate the 60-day deadline directly before selling someone's firearm. Just something to be aware of if you're having a firearm transferred here: make sure you understand their pickup policy and don't assume they'll specifically warn you before the deadline.

Staff were present and attentive, and registration process for range was simple and easy to use. The issue I had here was only my experience. First was a random fire sprinkler issue that caused the range to close early. In fairness I was not charged for my shortened range time. My problem was with the lack of honesty of my range ammo. To be clear, I used MAGTECH Steel case, copper jacket, lead projectiles. Not steel core ammo. I was holster certified by the RSO, who was a professional employee, using the same boxes of ammo. Clearly listed on the box, and hiding nothing. Then the issue with the sprinklers happened which I heard from two employees is not the first time. I figured someone a few ranges over shot the dam thing out, which is common with novice shooters. Upon being allowed to reenter the building to check out for the day since they were shutting down, a young, and clearly misinformed employee challenged my ammunition. First he tells me they don't allow steel ammo. I said this ain't steel ammo, it's steel casing. Then he tried to give me his un-grounded, opinion on how "damaging" the cases are to my gun. In respectfully said, no, that's incorrect, I've shot thousands of these for years, judging by his age, longer than a he's been in short pants. lol. Then he says how steel ammo may light unburnt powder in the range, which he might have a point, if I was using STEEL CORE PROJECTILES, which I was not. Next was how "dirty" my "steel ammo" is. This was especially entertaining, as MAGTECH uses the same powder and primer, in their brass ammo as their steel cases. Again, misinformation. Then I politely say, why don't you just take the honest approach bro, and tell me you cant recycle the cases and we can end the conversation. I reload, so I get it. However I was not home and needed cheap training ammo. Honest is best next time. Especially in an industry where 80% of your customers are relying on your employees to educate them and help them make a good self Defense purchase. I'll just go somewhere else, no harm no foul.

-UPDATE- (still 2 stars)…read more I received the console safe on 08/21/2023. I'm ultimately disappointed in the design for this one. A "safe" generally is a self-contained, reinforced box. The last safe I bought from them (2016 Tundra) was just that; a steel box with plates on all sides that bolted into the bottom frame. It was great. The description for this item on the website says : "Safe covers the whole console from the bottom to just under the lip of the console." What I waited 3 months for is a beautifully crafted top frame, lid, and latch from a safe. They also provide small plates that cover a partial area on either side, but that's really just to support the lid and keep it in place. Self tapping screws go into the console's plastic base for those... I understand a drop-in design wasn't possible for this truck if you want to retain the whole console volume. But for f%*k's sake, provide a plate for the back side of the console at least. Pop off the rear vent trim panel, and a thin plastic wall separates the cruel world from your valuables. You'd be inside that safe in minutes. Now that I just told you how to break into my console, read on. Maybe I'm being too harsh, and maybe I just don't like the design for this truck because I was spoiled with a full-fledged box safe previously. I don't know, but I do know there is ALWAYS a way to make something better. This, my friends, is one of those circumstances. Update the description and pictures of this safe, Lock'er Down. Show your customers what they are paying for. Also, tell them how long they're going to wait for it with certainty.
