This is coming from a persian- The ambiance was so nice! The decor was beautiful and the owner was very giving. The food was so good as well and very hot! He is very kind when you talk to him. The restaurant is in honor of his son, Sina. Order his homemade doogh. Soo good!Love it!

    Eggplant dip and Shiraz salad

This was our first time at Sina and we will be back! We started with the eggplant dip which was flavorful and had a good texture. For dinner we ordered 2 Beef Koobideh dinners, the Falafel plate and an additional Shiraz salad. The beef Koobideh was tender, juicy and flavorful and the rice was perfectly cooked. A shaker of sumac was on the table for adding to the Koobideh. The falafel were also flavorful and cooked perfectly, light and not dry. The accompanying sauce was enjoyed with the falafel and pita bread. Service was attentive and not intrusive. When we asked about the wines, the bottles were brought to the table. We enjoyed the white wine from Crete and the Greek red wine. The restaurant is in a small shopping plaza with tables, hightops and bar seating. There was soft background music, so we were able to have conversation. Parking available in the lot in front of the restaurant and on the street. We look forward to returning and trying other items on the menu!

This was an exceptional place. The food was outstanding. We stopped by last night after visiting Salem and if this was located where we lived, we would be regulars. The best Persian food I've ever had. This restaurant is in a small, strip of shops in Peabody. The outside is a bit deceptive because it's not fancy, but you open the door and walk into a nice, modern atmosphere. The falafel appetizer was delicious. We got the Barg combo and shared it. I couldn't even finish my half. The steak and chicken were cooked perfectly, juicy and flavorful! The rice and grilled tomato were delicious. The decor and service were both incredible. They had the restaurant decorated for Halloween and it was really cute! I was a fan of the Yin and Yang salt and pepper shakers. I need to find a set for myself! So fun! I can't imagine anyone living in the area and not eating here all the time. The prices are a little higher but well worth it for the quality! If you are visiting Salem and looking for a divine meal right outside of the hectic city limits of Salem, eat here! You won't be disappointed!!

A pleasant surprise- this is a fancy, great food restaurant. Don't come here if you're thinking about cheap kabobs in styrofoam containers. I had the soltani, which is a combination of the koobideh and barg kebabs- one tender seasoned steak, one seasoned ground beef- with rice and a charred tomato. I've had Persian food a lot in other cities- this place was very good. Don't forget to ask for some sumac (sue-mack) and use generously. Sumac is a dried fruit seasoning. It gives the rice and meat an extra flavor profile. They said they are getting their alcohol license soon which will make the bar area extra nice. I bet it will be lively. I will be coming here again :)

It's a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food taste like heaven and unbelievable service that you think you are a guest in a Persian home. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and kind. This place is great! Atmosphere is very friendly. You can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. Food is pretty good. Ali agha made a great memory for us. Absolutely the best Persian restaurant in East Coast

Delicious Persian cuisine served in an unforgettable atmosphere, right in the heart of Peabody, MA. We had the Kashke Bademjoon (Eggplant Dip) along with two of the signature kabob dishes. The Kabob Barg (sirloin steak) was tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The incredibly generous owner also brought us a full plate of tahdig (crispy rice) - anyone who knows Persian food knows how prized tahdig is! Can't wait to be back soon.

Very charming, clean and relaxed dining experience. We the eggplant dip with pita bread and the house soup for appetizers. That was followed by the falafel plate which came with salad and rice and a combo platter with many skewers of meat (chicken, beef and kiboudeh. Every dish that we tried was flavorful and delicious. All was deliciously prepared and simply presented to allow for one to enjoy the meal. Everyone in our party felt the same..... we will be back for more. If you are considering this restaurant.... Just go and let your tastebuds be entertained and satisfied with a wonderful meal and transport you to Persia. The owner was kind and attentive and a superior host. Go and let yourself be treated to a grand meal.

Operated by Antique Table, Piccolo Piatti of Salem is strictly a takeout eatery (no table seating) which serves up a variety of paninis/subs/wraps with fries, chicken wings, pizza, grain bowls, salads, smoothies, acai bowls, juices, and can soda. The menu here is different than Antique Table and Piccolo Piatti Winthrop, which offers full service dining with mostly Italian food. I stopped by Piccolo Piatti mid-afternoon and the place was fairly busy with people hanging out waiting for their orders. I ordered a Salmon Bowl ($16 plus tax) which was ready in about 25 minutes after ordering since there were already large orders before mine. I watched the two cooks prepare food in the kitchen as I waited. The Salmon Bowl was really good with nice flavors, which had white rice, mixed greens, red onions, pico de gallo, hot tender honey glazed salmon smoothed with a pesto mayo. I will definitely have to drop in again for a hot sandwich with a smoothie!

I was like okeeey what's the matter with this guys and when he does show up with the sauce even more visibly annoyed said it costs but he'll give it to me. But literally in every aspect it was really annoyed said. I refused to take it and paid for it of course. Why couldn't he just like a normal polite person said it's not included and there's a charge? Why make this experience so bad and be so rude and visibly annoyed? I don't need a smile just BASIC courtesy and not making me feel bad for just asking few basic questions for gods sake! I don't need this horrible service for over priced food!
