So had pizza, pepperoni, it was just average pizza. Not sure how this place has a 4.5 star when it clearly is just average. Their mozzarella sticks were average as well, but the marinara sauce was better than average. Would have made a much better pizza sauce than what they use on the pizza. read more

11/11/2021 This take out pizzeria is located in a small strip mall in Salem. There is free parking available. The pizza is very good and reminds me of NY style pizza so I really enjoyed my small/personal sized plain pizza. I couldn't give it 4 stars because the prices. The wall price said $7.50 but she charged me $8.50 plus tax. I whispered to my friend that I think she charged me wrong. She must have heard me because THEN she said the wall price needs to be updated. I joked and said I got the tourist price but honestly I was annoyed because if I didn't notice she would not have said anything. Love the pizza but annoyed at the pricing change. read more

Honestly this pizza was nothing special and I know that Boston Pizza does not have the same standards as some of the cities in the Northeast and Midwest for pizza - but even by Boston standards it didn't do anything for me. The people in here were nice though and it's on a back street a little bit out of the tourist way and it's a shame because I think they'd do really well if they were on one of the main streets. They have cheap slices and I appreciate that. They also have some interesting Eastern European looking desserts. 4 stars for effort, but better slices if they want a 5. read more

You know how sometimes you have some good, solid food, and then don't even know what to write? Well, for me this is Georgia's Pizza. After negative experiences with chain pizza joints, Georgia's is where I now go when I want to get a take-out pizza fix. Everything here is in balance, and the pizza itself is consistent, and just really solid. The crust thickness is great, it isn't paper thin as you'd find in true Neapolitan pizza, but it isn't the loaf of bread some chain "hand tossed" pizzas tend to be. Same with the crispness, not a tortilla chip, not a slice of wonder bread, right in the middle. The toppings were solid too! Thee weren't knock them out of the park spectacular, but they'll end in a home run or two. Not huge chunks, but tiny shredded pieces, not too many or too few, in balance! The combinations were very pleasant too. The white pizza was a surprisingly delicious, especially for someone who like me loves meat and sauce! Speaking of toppings, while broccoli on pizza did not sound like something I would enjoy, its presence in the veggie certainly didn't hurt. Pizzas were oily/greasy, but that is pretty much a characteristic of pizza, so no point against them there. Besides, assuming you work it off somehow, a little extra grease on a pizza doesn't hurt, as long as it isn't an everyday indulgence. The pizzas come out of the oven fairly fast. They are not as fast as Dominos, but two large pizzas take about 20 minutes, which I think is reasonable for good pizza. Prices are fairly reasonable too. Their service is nice and friendly, characteristic of a family owned pizza parlor. Georgia is the name of the owner's daughter! To summarize: really solid pizza where everything is in balance. Great for when you just want to bring a pizza home. However, not the best I've every had, and therefore just short of the coveted "as good as it gets" five-star rating. read more
