Bella's was once widely known amongst us Salemites as having the best pizza in the city. But recently something has changed. They may have been taken over by new owners because the familiar faces I've grown used to over the years are no longer there. And the pizza just isn't as good as it used to be. The cheese seems cheaper and more plastic like that now tends to slide off the whole slice on the first bite. The last pie I got was stuck to the cardboard liner under the pizza. Each slice had to be cut off. The pizza isn't terrible. Just not as good as it used to be. Hopefully the quality will return soon. read more

I stopped going to Bella's. After Peter sold it, I had placed an order online. A women called me and said, rudely, that they did not have what I order. I asked then why is it available online to order if you don't have it. I will not give my money to rude establishments. read more

Great little place has great Italian subs and pizza. I'll give you a little information inside information when my wife was in the hospital delivering our children. I always had to go over there and get her a cheesesteak sub. They were all very friendly and treated me quite well. Highly recommended. read more

I've been ordering from Peter Bella's pizza for over 8 years now and they have ALWAYS delivered to my location. Went to place an order for delivery today and the woman on the phone says they don't deliver to my location and when I notified her they have multiple times over the years since we are legit 9 minutes away, she was extremely rude and pretty much could care less. Again we've been ordering food longer than this woman has been working there, so we won't be ordering from here anymore. You lost an extremely loyal customer all thanks to this woman's horrible attitude. read more

Am not a fast food person, but when I feel like eating pizza or pasta Bella is my first choice. My coworkers raved Bella's, and I can see why. It's close to work, you can make your order, get it delivered or just go pick it up yourself. Even if you are a visiting Salem, Bella is it. The only downside is that they're not open on weekends. I've eaten from here at least a handful of times, always delivery. They have good calzones and today I ordered a super chicken sandwich with Mac n cheese bites, on a Tues at 320 pm. they said 45 min wait, it was more like an hour and I was .3 miles away from them. when I got the food the sandwich was on the bottom of the bag underneath the Mac n cheese bites causing the bread to be very squished. is it not common sense to put it on top? The Mac and cheese bites had a very weird fried coating and had practically no cheese in them, I ate 2 and threw them away. they were the worst I've had. the super chicken was very good but the onion roll was very squished and 1/3 of the bottom bun was missing it was ripped wrong. not impressed. read more

Not only the best pizza in Salem, but the best steak and mushroom sandwich. We live on the West Coast but come out to visit my daughter and her family. I made it a point to stop in and order another steak, mushroom and cheese sub....to die for. My wife ordered the chicken salad and said it was the best she ever had. We will continue to stop in here. So, moving sucks and on the first day we had no food (or dishes in the new apartment). Go us. I was stuck in our new home waiting for the cable guy (who turned out to be a lady.... oops) and was hungry so i looked out the window and saw Peter's Bella Pizza with a big "Under new management" sign. I had gotten a menu from my new apartment complex so I called up and ordered a buffalo chicken salad. I am a HUGE fan of buffalo chicken and their's was really good.... and only 7 bucks! Most of their LARGE subs are under 6 bucks!!! The blue cheese dressing had nice big chunks of blue cheese in it and was nice and thick. Their pita bread was fresh and good. That night we still had not thought to bring dishes over so we ordered from there again (it's a two second walk, sue me) and got a large cheese pizza and small mozzarella sticks. The pizza was awesome. A thinner crust which was only 9 bucks for a pretty big large and the mozzarella sticks were pretty good.... and they gave real sauce, not just canned, crushed tomatoes like some places. This place is a good deal and has pretty good food... we are definetely going to order again! read more

I have been getting Italian and Turkey subs here, but today I ordered a Chicken Park sub. It was excellent! Great chicken, real chicken breast fried to perfection. Slices of provolone and then the best "gravy" on top. Toasted with added grated Parmesan. I highly recommend this place. I've recently made this place my #1 place to pick up a salad on the way home. Got delivery for the first time a couple of nights ago, and everything was off. There was no love on the Italian sub, just the minimum basics tossed on a roll. The roast beef on onion roll was so dry, as was the chicken on the kebab salad. I don't recommend delivery. read more

I would like to start say that the food is great, price is reasonable...customer is awful.. I am working as assist.manager in the big chain company and if I see a employee treat the any of my guests the way how they treat some customer I will fire them on the spot.. Every Monday they have the cheese pizza special,if you call the, to place a order at 4:59pm they will tell you you have to wait until 5pm to call back and place the order..but then you call back 5 minutes later and your number is #46..and. Don't understand 2 minutes early they told me they can't take the order before 5pm but they already have 45 order before of my... Too bad...just imagine how much business they could be make if they treat everyone the same way,,,because aand of the day that s why they have a business to make money..
