    Eating lunch

I have eaten at many Singas locations. They never disappoint. This was one of the few where you can sit inside and eat. Their pizza pies are great size for one person or for two to share. They come in so many varieties that there is something for everyone. They also have Indian style pizzas for those who like Indian toppings.

Typical bag and plates. Travelled well.

My last week in Parsippany and failed to plan dinner (which was a plan to fail). Good thing I had a nice sit down lunch at Fotia Mediterranean (in East Hanover, some of you may know this restaurant NOT on Yelp) with wonderful people so didn't need anything fancy tonight. Couldn't decide what to do and I really didn't feel like putting any thought into dinner. My dear Indian friend introduced me to the Singas chain in Edison NJ, so when perusing Seamless came upon a local Singas here. Ordered a standard mushroom individual and it hit the spot. When you eat here and order two pizzas with a topping they give you a free plain. Definitely didn't need all that tonight. Crust and cheese and toppings were as good as the other location I've been too. Dough was perfectly chewy with a soft crust. Delivery arrived prior to quoted time. It's a unique pizza and I'm a fan. Wish they had one local to me in NY.

Lived here for 12 years gave this place a shot for the second time and regret it. Absolutely will not go back a third time. Burnt pizza. Burnt who knows what in my mozzarella sticks. Stay away

Delicious pizza under $7.. it was a rainy day and we decided to go here. As it was weekday it was almost empty. There are no servers, so you have to order at the counter. one Chinese old guy was having some tough time to understand our order (we ordered simple onion and bell pepper pizza with chicken topping on it and Chicken grill wrap). Another guy came, and he was bit rude. Anyway, we got our order after 10 minutes and pizza was awesome. Like if you are bored with papa jones, Domino's pizza, this handmade pizza you can try. And every pizza is just for $6.5-8. And one pizza is more than sufficient for a single person. The wrap was okay, not that good. Recommended for pizza.

Very light but filling personal pizzas made with good fresh ingredients. Great deal buy 2 with toppings and get a plain for free. I love their eggplant is thin sliced breaded and sweet. The make a great parmesan sandwich and make it any way you like. I've had it once with fresh peppers, onions and mozzarella and it was excellent. Recently, I had just eggplant with mozzarella and a little sauce and it was awesome.

We've ordered pizza from here multiple times, and it's comforting to know that the taste is consistently satisfying each time.

Singas is a favorite of Indian-Americans in the tri-state so it is always a treat. The pizza was good and as it should be.

It's bigger than it looks, but delicious. Definitely a place to come on a Friday night. But it does get crowded quick so plan accordingly. Coniglois is a great place for lunch or a coffee and a sweet treat. They have so many options of baked goods and a case of bread made in house that you could take home. Overall it was fantastic. We walked in 15 minutes later and he literally pointed to a booth where our two Detroit reds were just set up and waiting on us- we felt like royalty! On to the pizza- have tried many Detroit style pizzas over the years, I would say this was more Detroit "inspired", Aside from the edges, It had a soft bready crust - a little too fluffy compared to the crisp, almost focaccia-like crust we are accustomed to. Not to fret, it's still delicious! Quality pull on the cheese and the sauce holds its own. Some of the slices had the caramelized cheese halo and those were attacked first. Since we prepaid on the phone we didn't have the option to leave a tip. No worries, quick view of the sweet delights and we ordered some bombolones so that we could add a tip there!

They started us off with some appetiziers for the table which included avocado toast, rice balls, and salad. For my main course, I ordered the Pappardelle Bolognese which was a huge portion. The pasta was fresh and the meat sauce was super flavorful. The inside is decorated very nice and has a sort of rustic theme. The area where we were sat was the perfect size for an intimate shower. The highlight was the salumeria special - good selection of meats and cheeses. We tried the grandma, bader sting and the prosciutto & fig pies. The grandma was the best. The bader sting is sopressata and hot honey - couldn't taste the honey and sopressata had no flavor. But the biggest let down was the prosciutto & fig - the figs were green? My first thought they were not ripe - the point of this pie is to have savory and sweet - it had no sweet. As I said I hadn't been there in more than 5 years and the menu hasn't changed from what I can remember. Also, if you increase prices, maybe make sure you make sure to remove the old menus first.

So, I decided to give it a try for dinner. They don't accept reservations. I arrived around 6:30 pm on a Friday to avoid crazy wait times, but still had to wait ~40 minutes. It didn't feel very long since the waiting area has a mobile wine/beer bar outside & you're able to order drinks from the restaurant as well while you wait. I didn't come with kids, but I saw a lot of families waiting. It was a kid friendly space. The inside was quite dim & it kept getting dimmer as the night progressed. I didn't love this, but it didn't bother me as much either. Pizza was delicious, and the bread tasted very fresh. The pictures show an individual pizza size, which we were told might not be big enough to share, but we made it work amongst 3 girls. Service was fast - I assume since they're trying to free up tables quickly. I'd recommend going at a non-peak time if you don't like to wait, but definitely worth a try even if for takeout!
