All the coaches here are very good with kids of all ages and they are extremely experienced with a great reputation in the fencing community. My children initially tried all 3 weapons and picked sabre since it's fast paced and more dynamic/fun (each bout/tournament also takes a lot less time than Epee or Foil which is a big advantage for parents!). During high school junior year my child is already recruited to fence as NCAA athlete at a great college and the MFC club/coaches have been providing the best training and extremely encouraging and supportive throughout the process. I also like the fact that Manhattan has multiple locations including Manhattan (b/w 5th and 6th Ave and 37th street with easy access via public transportation) since there are so many nationally/internationally rated/ranked fencers to fence with which is a true advantage and not many clubs provide this opportunity. This Waldwick location is very well maintained and programs are well organized and you can choose lessons from well known, experienced coaches who are very good with kids, I strongly recommend parents especially with young children have their kids try since Sabre fencing is a fantastic way to be physically fit and an excellent extracurricular (EC) activity down the road. There are many age groups and class offerings between Waldwick and Englewood in Bergen County with an option to fence in Manhattan as well on Fridays and Saturdays. This Waldwick location is also well maintained with a great area where parents can watch their kids training and there is a space where kids can do homework etc while waiting for their classes. This is such a caring, supportive community with a good team/club spirit. Kids love to fence and hang out with their club friends! I highly recommend!

It is up to the teacher to properly prepare the class for their mission. The staff is knowledgeable, informative and accommodating. When asked to reflect on their experience, our 8th grade Gifted &Talented students report that this experience was very hands on and realistic and provided a solid introduction to the perils of space travel and the responsibility crew members have to work collaboratively to make each mission a success!

We had fun breaking plates, glass, and wine bottles. There are two small smash rooms for this session and it was plenty of time. I do wish there was complementary bottles of water. At least those small ones. After being there swinging around, kind of thirsty after. Even a water cooler would be good! I also wish their music was louder in the smash rooms. And a cool add on option is if the room was recorded and available to watch back digitally! I wanted to see all of the mayhem while we were in there. I was amazed that they had that many things in one small park. There were mostly kids playing and a couple parents watching the little ones. I know it's been difficult to secure a vaccine appointment but sometimes it's just about getting onto these websites at the right time. I had already signed up through the NJ COVID-19 Information Hub and began looking for appointments as soon as possible. I was able to find an appointment for that same week at Holy Name Medical Center aka Richard Rodda Community Center. My first appointment was for February 5th at 5:25pm which was the last appointment slot for the day. I arrived and there were about 20 people ahead of me on the line. I wasn't expecting to wait since each person should have a designated time. I waited about an hour until I finally received my first dose. The vaccines they have depend on which shipment they get. I got the Pfizer vaccine because that's what they had then (this may change depending on when you go). After my first vaccine, they made me an appointment for the second dose 3 weeks later on February 26th at 4:40pm. I must have come on a better day or they really changed up their methods because I was in and out in 10 minutes! I was not expecting that considering what happened during my first appointment but I'm glad they made changes! Thankfully, I am fully vaccinated (and had no side effects - aside from basic arm soreness). What I like about this vaccination site is they give you an Apple Wallet version of your COVID-19 Vaccination Card. So not only do you have the hard copy card but you can also have this electronic version with you at all times. Huge shout out to the pharmacists and nurses working tirelessly to vaccinate the community. Both nurses who vaccinated me were super friendly and my experience was pretty smooth-sailing!

Bought an apartment from a realtor from this company. Asked about pet policy at house opening, at…read morethe inspection and before closing. At all occasions, the realtor assured me that my pet is allowed. He even told my realtor that the by laws were being changed and that pets are allowed and the new by laws will state that. they said we will receive paper work on stating that pets were allowed. I cannot move into the apartment as pets are not allowed. I contacted the president of this company to report what happened. Received email saying she will look into it. I followed up with emails and proof of conversation with company's realtor and communication was severed. Stay away, employ unethical people.

I joined the club last summer and definitely took full advantage. It's a small club and outdated…read moremeaning no fun bells and whistle's for the kids like many other clubs in the area. It is also very pricey compared to other clubs being that it isn't sponsored by a town but open to residents and other surrounding towns. That said it was a great way to spend relaxing days. The pool was pretty quiet even empty some days and there was always ample seating. Evenings however after work pick up of course. I was able to pack a cooler with lunch, snacks or have the offerings of a concession stand. So if in the mood for fries or a burger or a salad I definitely had that option. Furthermore I love that they don't prohibit outside deliveries of food. So if spending an evening there I was able to order outside delivery in. A nice bonus is that they offer tennis camp, swim team and swim lessons to members. Members can also use the tennis courts until the season closes in November. Pool water is freezing. Tennis courts and tennis program phenomenal. Small playground for kids which is a nice touch. Cleaning was done efficiently which I appreciated given Covid. If looking for a low-key pool to enjoy during the summer take a tour.
