I first became aware of Hot Spot Airsoft by watching their YouTube videos, showcasing their various…read moreproducts. Irritant/Kinetic co2 launchers (stock & modified), parts, accessories, co2 and more, Hot Spot Airsoft has everything needed for the hobby. Acquiring a Mercury Rise Intrubuster Gen 2 this past March, an extended barrel was on my list for parts to purchase for it. The only option available was from another YouTube content creator, with a premium price attached to it. Waiting till hopefully more options became available, Claudio at Hot Spot Airsoft, posted videos on his prototype barrel extensions for the Intrubuster Gen 2, which he 3D prints individually and were testing for upcoming rollout. After a few videos, he finalized the design, a 10" & 6", and gave an introductory price for the first 50 customers, which was almost half the cost of what the other YouTube content creator's barrel extensions were. I quickly jumped on the early bird promo, and soon had my 10" barrel extension in my possession. The 10" barrel extension is simple to install, and my Intrubuster Gen 2 has now had a devastating power boost. I'm quite happy with my purchase, especially when utilizing the promo for the first 50 customers. Unfortunately, Hot Spot Airsoft's physical store for 30 years caught fire and has been permanently closed. Fortunately, however, they still do website & phone sales. Email communication has been met with quick responses. I chose UPS for shipping, and the shipping time was about a week. If you're looking to get into the airsoft/co2 launcher hobby, Hot Spot Airsoft has got you covered. They have great prices on stock and modified launchers, along with everything else needed. I'm looking forward to see what Claudio comes up with next for the Intrubuster Gen 2, and would happily do business with them, again. Highly recommend!

I have been a marksman for over 50 years, having experience with everything from pellet and BB guns…read moreto pistols, revolvers, rifles and shotguns; and won many trophies in tournaments. A short time back I purchased an "upgraded" Umarex TRS 68 from Hot Spot Airsoft. The first time I tried it out - I applied an Umarex C02 into the handle - I then put it into a secure case so I could set up a target. 2 minutes after placing the TRS into the case - I heard it either fire on it's own or blow a seal somewhere or both, without anyone touching it and it had never been fired by me before. When I contacted Claudio, his exact words were that this was "IMPOSSIBLE" and that he performed the work and tested every item before it left the store. I now find this very difficult to believe. Claudio instructed me to ship the TRS 68 to him (at my cost) and that he would inspect it and let me know what could be done. A short time later, Claudio contacted me back and told me that for a fee, he would repair the item and ship it back to me. Claudio let me know for around $70.00 he would repair the TRS 68. When I received the TRS 68, I attempted to insert an Umarex CO2 into the handle and twist the piercing cap. Now, the piercing cap will not pierce the CO2 at all. I tried several times - with different but new Umarex CO2 cartridges without success. When I emailed him about this final failure - he actually had the nerve to tell me that I must have inserted the CO2 upside down. Really? I now have invested around $500.00 into this paperweight - which is now useless. Do not trust the owner of Hot Spot Airsoft - as I discovered he performs shoddy repairs and will never admit to his mistakes. Claudio upgraded the TRS68 and then "repaired" it and it still failed. You know how the old saying goes "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." Buy a new airsoft from a legitimate company or the manufacturer, that has not been tampered with by an unqualified operator.
