If you ask questions or want them to explain then you're "confrontational" and they won't see your children anymore. They want you to sign paperwork giving them permission to put your child to sleep but then won't tell you what they are going to do to them while they're asleep. They also violate court orders by sending information to parents that don't have custody of their children.

I'm sure there are lovely people working here...we couldn't wait around any longer hoping to make that rotation. My loved one was here for two days & we took her somewhere else at our expense. My heart hurts for what I've seen here. There is little "care" in what she's experienced. My loved one is incontinent - needs frequent diaper changes. At 6pm, as the nurse was changing my loved one, the nurse griped (I heard it), "I can't do this all night long!" You wouldn't say that to a child who can't care for themselves....it's not right or professional or humane to say it to an adult who is equally incapable!!! Worse: this is the attitude the previous two nurses gave. My loved one is embarrassed and genuinely appreciative (and tell the nurses how appreciative), but she just receives spite and sub-par attention (sometimes 45 minutes between saying of need to be cleaned & actual cleaning). Lets add a layer of apathy: two Administrators/staff literally stopped a nurse from changing my loved one's adult diaper so they could interrogate about why she was leaving their facility!!! CLEARLY the feces & urine needed to be cleaned, but they thought it acceptable for my loved one to remain even longer like that (when she had already waited 45 minutes...I know, because I was on both sides of the initial cleaning request & the Admin interrogation). Not a negative note, Just FYI:Two people per room & one bathroom between two rooms = four people per toilet. No shower in this bathroom One tv between two people. Floors are stained dirty (especially at the entrance of each room) The posted sanitation rating as of Jan 2023 is 82%. Don't know what the food is like. Don't know what the rehabilitation is like.

Update: Now it's been almost 3 months to get an update on my sunglasses. Still, no one has called…read moreme back since the initial call a few weeks ago, when they were with a "rep," so I walked into the office today. They sent a young tech to tell me they couldn't find anything and asked me if I had received a call. I said no. I quickly gave her the history of what has been happening and about my call earlier in January. She dug around and pulled my file, and the poor thing had to tell me I had an additional $547 due. What?? It's been three months, and my initial visit was Dec 6, 2022. No one has attempted to call me to tell me I owe money and that they were not ordering my sunglasses, either. I paid in full for the sunglasses. WTH? I told her I was not mad with her, but the other ladies in that office for putting her on this, and their lack of backbone. I told her I'm done, I wanted a refund of what I had already paid, and they could have the glasses. She said she'd have to talk to Dr. Russ about the refund. I said I wanted to talk with him, as well. I waited. No Dr. Russ, but she appeared with a check for my initial eyeglasses, but not my sunglasses, so I came back the next day to get my second refund. Upon arrival, there was another couple on their phone outside, and based on what I heard, and after talking with her husband, they went through the same. Ordered glasses and after a month, and paying, no glasses! They were offered a check, too, but were hesitant. Evidently, I'm not the only "patient" going through the waiting game at this business. Better business bureau needs to know this, or even WRAL.
