Love this place! I like the iced mocha latte. Nice rich chocolate and coffee flavor. My wife likes the peach black tea which has a nice hint of peach and not to sweet, very refreshing. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The shop is nice and clean. It's a must stop for me. Stop by and check them out, you won't be disappointed. The other day my wife and I drove out to get my iced mocha latte and was surprised because it was my birthday and they gave it to me for free. Thanks so much! Again check this place out, very refreshing.

Wife and I are always in the mood for coffee and tea, so when we were visiting Wimberley TX a few days ago, we decided to try Sip! And it was very tasty and comfortable inside. The strawberry vanilla latte was one of the best coffee combinations I've ever had, but it may be gone by the time people read this review and go to the store since it's a limited time item. If it's still there then please try. I also thought that this coffee shop was part of the restaurant that's 10 feet away but no it's a separate place entirely, so don't be surprised if you enter in the wrong door, but that may have been my own fault. I would love to come to this place again when I come to Wimberly again.

My first impression of this coffee shop is that it was clean and appeared to be organized. We were greeted by the barista who took our order and was very kind and even gave my wife a compliment. I asked her what kind of espresso they used and she said an Italian blend. It was a good sign she knew off the top of her head. Our coffee was ready before we knew it and I was impressed that there was a little latte art on my 16oz lavender latte. Not to throw shade but Blanco coffee did not have any art... but like Blanco Coffee they both use store bought flavored syrups. I took my first sip and was blown away how much better they were than Blanco coffee. Blanco coffee is good but this just takes the lead. I'm giving a four star rating just because of the syrups... if they were homemade it would be a 5 star no questions asked. Overall, LOVE this place. Love, J. Wall

This coffee shop was super cute. I made my order of cold brew with cold foam and the cold foam wasn't too up to par because their frother wasn't working properly. So I asked one of the young ladies to add whip cream and said "please just let me mix this in first" And she ignored me and put the whip cream on and walked away, not acknowledging me. Also I asked one of them where the rest room was - and she blurted out "that way" and no eye contact. I had to ask another one of them while the other girl who I ordered the coffee from ignored me. It was a disappointing experience at such a cute coffee shop. I also understand people have bad days - I can definitely address this type of bad customer service assertively - but I honestly didn't want to be bothered. Seems like both of the rude girls working needed a hug tbh. Don't think I'll ever be back when traveling through. The town was adorable and everyone else at the cute shops were lovely !

Before heading to blue hole, was badly in need of a cold coffee, it was sooooo hot, with a quick search, sip caught my eyes and they're pretty conveniently located. Service is ok, place has nice cool vibe to it, with comfortable indoor seating. Ordered mocha blended frappe, and absolutely loved it, it was beyond my expectations, it was more creamy than icy, which I love, though more chocolaty than coffee, overall it was amazing, would be back, whenever we're in that area, definitely give a try!

We went to Wimberley for a day trip yesterday and were looking for a place to have coffee. I choose Sip to check out and we made a great choice! We were welcomed with the banner saying Best of Wimberley 2020 by The Wimberley View and Sip as the winner for Best Coffee. The Turmeric Latte was a unique menu item so I chose that and included an espresso shot. Loved it! My husband chose the Cold Brew with oat milk and he enjoyed that too. He also had the jumbo blueberry muffin which was very moist. I bought 2 beautifully decorated cookies by Hayley for my neighbors. Seemed too pretty to eat! Our fantastic drinks kickstarted our day of exploring and enjoying Wimberley. This is a must-stop place!

They were good for 20 years. They have switched their coffee bean supplier. Just found out today. The coffee now tastes terrible. I can't believe how bad it tastes compared to what it used to be. Sorry Sips for the bad review but y'all should've never changed suppliers! read more

Super friendly staff awaits you in this small little coffee shop in the small heart of the shopping square of Wimberley's hill country. They weren't aware of what a shot in the dark/double red eye was, but they were more than willing to make anything that was asked for given you could provide them instructions. The shop offered a variety of coffee flavors, though I didn't get a chance to give them a go, though the Snicker doodle was eying me the whole visit. Definitely a quaint little place to grab a quick pick me up and have a friendly chat with the locals. read more

This is a tiny coffee shop that shares a covered patio with the cafe next door. The latte I ordered on my first visit was hot and delicious, and the chocolate-dipped coconut macaroon ($3) was tasty as well. They serve a variety of hot drinks as well as baked goods, from scones to cookies, that are displayed with their prices in a case. Drinks are listed on the chalkboard on the wall. The second time I stopped by, I tried one of their gluten-free scones on the barista's recommendation. It tasted like stale, hard cake, so I'd avoid those unless your diet is truly restricted. Their drink and baked good prices are about equal to what you'd pay at SBUX. They lost a star when the barista charged me $5 for that gluten-free scone, even after I pointed out that the tag said $4 (regular scones are less). No way sales tax in Wimberley is 25%. She responded by removing the tag. Kinda sad. read more

Cute little coffee shop at the side of the Wimberly Cafe! If you like Chai Tea latte you HAVE to try their Spicy Cub Chai! It was one of the most flavorful and spicy Chais I have had and would come back for another! Had mine with OatMilk and it was delicious! Very friendly staff and not much of a wait! Great coffee! We got the chocolate strawberries flavor and it was SUPER good! Only issue is, order in advance online otherwise you'll be waiting there forever to get to your order. This coffee shop is super cute! Love how it is right on the Wimberley Square, and how it's still has cute hipster coffee shop vibes. I got an almond milk latte, which is my choice of drink everywhere I go, and I must say it's not the best but it's definitely not the worst. They do really good latte art, and it's not easy because almond milk is not easy to foam. The latte has sweet undertones and tastes like a typical latte. I would give it a 7/10. My friend got a blueberry muffin and she said that it tastes like a vanilla cupcake with some blueberries -- moist and crumbly. She rates it a 7/10. read more

Good cup of coffee right on the square. Indoor and outdoor seating, friendly staff and not overpriced. It is a small shop but offers some food as well. We ordered an Americano and a carmel machiaotto. Both were very good. The coffee has a really good flavor and not bitter like some of the bigger brand name coffee places. We stopped in a couple of times during our stay and would go back. read more

UPDATE: they have gluten free breakfast tacos (hooray). I also found out that they have mayan mochas, which is my favorite drink, so I'm switching over to mayan mochas. Located in an old building and in the busy Wimberely Square. Their iced coffee is potent. They have different iced coffee and I took the one which is the strongest. Whoa! But it's good. Wifi is strong. Parking can be tricky. Unfortunately, I couldn't park up in front. I had to park a couple blocks away at the public parking. read more

Great little coffee bar, with friendly staff and a wonderful cold coffee drink. While we were trying to decide, and leaning toward a Mexican Mocha, the counter attendant suggested we might like a cold coffee--Mayan, I believe it was called. And omg, did we like it. We ordered a small, to share, as we walked around the square. My husband told me to grab it because he was going to suck it down in one "bite." Yes, it's that good. They offer sweets from Sugar Shack, so you could easily get your afternoon coffee/pastry fix. They have outdoor seating--so you can look at all the tourist while there! read more

Near perfect first impression at this part historic, part eclectic coffee shop in the center of Wimberley's city square. It's got good vibes, friendly customer service and really great coffee! My young sons found a collection of small toys along one of window sills which i felt was a thoughtful touch. The homemade breakfast tacos were the yummiest, but only 2 remained when we arrived on Sunday morning. Overall I love seeing Wimberley thriving on small businesses and this is a coffee shop I'd like to have around for a long time! read more

As others have mentioned the baristas have a real attitude. This for a coffee shop on the square which caters to tourists. As a local, who until today, stopped in several times I've finally had enough. It's embarrassing. I just can't believe this goes on in my hometown. The coffee is alright, not great. But even if it was great...the environment and ambiance is distressing. There are other coffee shops in town. read more

We ended up at this coffee shop every single morning of our vacation in Wimberley. The hot americano was out of this world! Their cold brew was delicious as well! Perfectly smooth, not bitter at all. Darrell & Sandy Vasquez brew their coffee in house in small 6 pound batches to maintain absolute freshness and this was evident in the flavorful sample we tried today...SOLD! My Husband Tony was particularly impressed by how he felt after tasting just a small sample, "more energetic, perked up but not edgy" which is just what we need from our brew of choice during these particularly cold mornings. My fiancé and I were in town for Wimberley Market Days and on the way stopped by Wimberley Donuts…read more Neither of us had had breakfast yet and were starving, and donuts sounded good. They have a drive-through window which we pulled up to, and we easily determined what we wanted. I ended up going with the breakfast biscuit sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese, and my fiancé got the cinnamon roll and a blueberry glazed donut. The biscuit sandwich was really good, and they make the biscuits in-house! I think it would've been even better if they had warmed it up, but hey - a win is a win no matter what! I didn't try the donuts my fiancé got, but he said that the cinnamon roll donut was possibly one of the best he had ever had! The woman taking our order at the window was friendly and efficient. I think it took maybe 1-2 minutes total between ordering, paying, and receiving our items. Definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!
