I received 2 bags of coffee shipped to me from Sipbie Caffe. I bought whole beans and the packaging from CA to AZ came in just a few days! I'm a big fan of the taste-- usually I put creamer in my coffee, but I ground these up and had it as is and immensely enjoyed it. It wasn't bitter and it perked me right up. Would order again, in fact, in a span of 2 weeks, I've drank almost 2 cups a day! My husband has a sensitive stomach and the coffee did not cause any upset, which is another plus as well. This is an excellent small business, glad I found out about it.

I've been here a few times, and I honestly don't know why I haven't reviewed this place yet…read more The moment you walk into Manresa Bread, you're greeted right away. The space has a modern yet warm feel with beautiful natural wood finishes, fresh loaves of sourdough lining the shelves, pastries displayed in the case, and a mix of large communal wood tables, regular seating, and high-top tables. It's the kind of café that makes you want to slow down and stay awhile. The staff was friendly and helped us choose both a pastry and our toast. They were also happy to customize our order--we asked for the levain sourdough toast with butter instead of the usual olive oil. That toast was absolutely divine. The sourdough had the perfect balance: chewy without being too sour, with a crust that was crisp but not so hard that it fought back. Easily the best sourdough toast I've had in the Bay Area. If you come here, this is the one thing you have to order. The only disappointment was the butter. They serve French butter, but for an extra $2, the portion was tiny and honestly nothing special. I've had better butter from Whole Foods. It didn't take away from how incredible the bread was, but it wasn't worth the upcharge. Their Kouign-amann is also one of the best I've ever had. Instead of the typical flat, flaky style, theirs is taller with countless buttery layers that create an amazing texture. The cappuccino was another highlight. It had subtle notes of orange peel, whiskey, and cardamom, making it unique. The latte art was beautiful too. Overall, Manresa Bread is one of those cafés that makes you want to sit down with a laptop or a book and spend a few hours there. The only downside is there are no power outlets, so come with a full battery if you're planning to work. Must orders: Levain sourdough toast with butter and the Kouign-amann. Both are worth the trip.

It was delicious on its own, but the strawberry jam on the side was a great addition and paired nicely. The almond croissant was wonderfully flaky and buttery, filled with a rich, flavorful almond paste. Very good! I also ordered the seasonal lavender latte, and it was outstanding. The lavender flavor actually came through instead of getting lost in the coffee, creating a fragrant, well-balanced drink that was both comforting and delightful.

However, twice I had diarrhea right after consuming a drink at this particular location. To be precise, it has to do with their whole milk. I'm not lactose intolerant. I have no problem with any other coffee houses. The first incident happened when I replaced their standard oat milk to whole milk for a Matcha latte. Yesterday, I decided to give the place another chance and I ordered a regular 16 oz latte with whole milk. My stomach started rumbling and I had diarrhea within 2 hours. I would like to urge the store to pay attention and improve their food safety.

We ate the brownie before we got our drinks :). Drinks were good. We ordered another with oat milk and cold foam. The stuff tastes great. There were a few tables to sit at, a counter area, and it was air conditioned. It was near closing time at 4:30. They called out my drink but someone snagged it so I thought it must be pretty popular. They were closing up so I asked if my drink was coming up. The barista said I called that out like 5 minutes ago. I said you did but someone grabbed it so they made me another one.

Hey there Party People…read more I had heard of this place from friends so I decided to try it. I confused this place with another restaurant when I did my first review. So I want to set the record straight because Los Gatos Cafe was a really good experience. It's a small place but there are outside tables as well. You can order lunch at any time as well as breakfast. We started with Banana Chocolate Chip pancakes. Holy smokes they were the bomb. They had a ton of fresh bananas inside as well as a nice amount of chocolate chips on top. I had the Hot Turkey and Pear sandwich. I know the combo sounds weird but it was super tasty. The pear added crunch and sweetness to the sandwich. There was also a good dose of grilled onions to go with the owie gooey cheese....yum. Hubby had the Granite Flank Steak Sandwich . It was smothered in Gorgonzola cheese with a good portion of Flank Steak. The steak was tender and well seasoned. It was the perfect flavor bite. So going to add this place to the frequent flier list. Be kind to one another

I think you know what this is by now, so no need to repeat the ingredients. Got this with a salad and sandwich deal. This part was pretty good, but a little too much mayo for my liking (I needed a separate napkin just for the mayo). Garden Salad: 3/5. Not a big fan of iceberg lettuce.
