After my last review, Tico team has reached out and correct the issue. Their service is fast and punctual.

I was finally able to try their coffee fresh. I had received a bag of cafe de olla as a gift. I noticed that they are located in Campbell, which is only a 15 drive. Since they aren't open on the weekends, I went today (Tuesday). It's more of a warehouse, where they roast and bag the different blends. Not really a coffee shop. There's a small mobile coffee stand in front where I was able to purchase a latte. I was also able to pick up a bag of beans from the warehouse.

I came across this while searching for local small batch coffee roasters. Got "Finca San Luis", excellent beans, espresso shot was perfect and I could test the flavor notes.

Seen them at the garden at the flea and wanted to try their hot chocolate. Was hoping they had other speciality type of drinks but not so much just a peppermint one. Tried the hot chocolate and it was okay not much to it just your regular hot chocolate drink. This place is more for those into coffee since they have your normal variety of them! Cushioned service was friendly.

    My latte at work!

The staff member who made my latte was very nice. Only $5 which is better that any chain. And they don't add sugar so you can control how sweet you want it! My only complaint is it is a little tricky to find. It's a trailer in the back of a parking lot. Maybe more signage?

The definition of a hole in the wall. If you don't know where it is, you'll probably miss it. My best suggestion is to turn where the flags say coffee, and then just keep going down that small lane past the random garages. Here they sell whole beans as well, so if you like grinding your own coffee it might be a nice place to check out new blends and flavors. I had a black Americano and it was just what I needed to get through the rest of the day. I think I would definitely come here more if I was a coffee connoisseur, instead of being like me who just drinks coffee for caffeine. One cool thing I heard is that a local school came to this shop to learn about coffee production. So if you are in education, that may be an easy field trip to look into.

Worth the hunt! Great to-go coffee.

Google Maps came up with Tico Coffee Roasters as a non- Starbucks option, so we went to check it out. When we arrived, we drove down an alley with industrial shops and I thought, dang, it's just the warehouse where they roast coffee. You don't notice at first, but they have a little coffee trailer where they serve coffee, latte's tea, etc. The latte was a smooth, great tasting cup of coffee. Was nice to try a non-chain for once and the gal was very nice serving us.

I tried the Honey Black Sesame Latte, and while I wasn't sure I would like it, I ended up loving it! The flavor was super delicious, and went really well with the espresso flavor. We also ordered the avocado toast which is made on a Japanese milk bread slice. The seasoning toppings were super interesting and yummy, just maybe would have liked a bit more of the toppings personally. I really liked the larger menu of super unique drinks and definitely will be coming back to try a couple more that caught my eye! My only complaint is that it came in a very small cup. The price is pretty standard for the Bay Area, but for the size, I was a little disappointed in the value. When you're craving an affogato, you want more than a few spoonfuls! Small cup aside, the quality was there. Perfect rainy day spot.

The only critique I have is the music being way too loud at times. It's NOT what type of music is playing, but purely the volume. When it's loud, people talk louder and it can occasionally be a little too loud to focus without headphones. Otherwise, I think I've found my new fav local coffee shop!

It wasn't crazy busy so it was easy to order through one of their two tablets and find a spot to sit. It is very spacious and filled with many tables, so even when busy you'll likely be able to find a spot. The menu is a bit messy to look at--there is a big menu hanging over the kiosks, another posted alongside where a line is formed, then the menu on the tablet kiosks themselves. It's a pretty big menu featuring primarily coffee-based drinks, matcha lattes, and a wide variety of food, so you'll likely find something appealing. I ordered their smoked salmon bagel (which rang up to about $16) and their matcha latte ($8); to be honest, neither were outstanding. The salmon and avocado in the bagel were great, but the bagel itself was a bit stale--for $16, it's a bit hard to swallow. The matcha was very milky, and there is another store offering better matcha drinks in the same plaza. I'll admit, though, it's a little on me for not picking coffee at a spot with "coffee" in the name. I will say, though, that the atmosphere in the main area is pretty good; the decor is understated but comfortable, and the lighting is good. The service is also solid--the servers are friendly and our order came out quickly. I will say that the bathroom feels ominous. Overall, it's a great spot to study; Big Mug is open late, has free Wi-Fi and a bathroom for customers, and offers both food and caffeinated drinks for longer study sessions. I feel that the prices vary widely for items but skew towards being too pricy for the quality, at least from my limited experience. I plan on coming back to give other items a try, but for now, it's not a favorite.

The staff described it as cold brew with milk and sweetener, which was helpful, but it ended up being way too sweet for me. That might just be how it's supposed to be though, and probably my fault for not choosing something that better reflects their coffee. The space itself is pretty large, with a good amount of seating inside and a few tables outside. There's also a decent amount of parking, and it's in a shared building with a brewery and other businesses. It has a bit of an unfinished warehouse vibe, which honestly makes sense for a coffee roaster. Only real inconvenience was that the restroom is locked, which feels a little odd for such a large coffee shop. Overall I'd still come back, but next time I'll definitely try an espresso based drink instead.

Occasionally burnt espresso but I love them too much to mind. I am a matcha snob to say the LEAST. Hands down best coffee shop matcha in the Bay Area. The classic iced matcha latte with honey is grassy and earthy and creamy and a little sweet. The iced banana pudding matcha latte had people lined up around the corner for months when it came out. It is deliciously worth the wait. Best banana cold foam in my opinion because it's made with actual bananas instead of flavoring so it's much more mellow. The double matcha they had for awhile is also awesome. Banana cold foam also goes great on an espresso latte. Now they let you add whichever cold foam you like to whatever drink which is great. Basically you can't go wrong. They are always changing up the menu for the new season and have lots of unique drinks on their menu. Not much seating inside at this location.
