The orange cardamom latte was honestly pretty underwhelming. Instead of a bright, zesty citrus note, it came across as purely linear and sour. Mix that sourness with whole milk, and it just didn't taste right or appetizing at all, and the cardamom was way too subtle to save it. On the other hand, the pistachio latte was actually really delicious. The only catch? It didn't taste like pistachio at all. It was very vanilla-forward instead. So while it was a great cup of coffee, missing the actual featured flavor was a bit of a letdown. Great vibe, sweet staff, and nice outdoor seating, but the specialty flavors could definitely use some tweaking.

The double matcha they had for awhile is also awesome. Banana cold foam also goes great on an espresso latte. Now they let you add whichever cold foam you like to whatever drink which is great. Basically you can't go wrong. They are always changing up the menu for the new season and have lots of unique drinks on their menu. Not much seating inside at this location. The winchester Blvd one has more if that's what you're looking for. Their pastries are also all yummy and they sell their matcha powder for $60 for 100g which is a GREAT price for a great matcha. It was strongly cardamom scented, with a faint orange fragrance which worked well with the coffee though I would've preferred a little less cardamom and more orange to balance the drink. I also got the vegan stonefruit scone (baked by Sweet Dragon) and while a little on the dry side (common with scones), paired extremely well with the coffee and had good flavor. They almost forgot my cold brew until we asked at the counter, as well as stating that they didn't have anything to heat up my husband's strawberry pie (which seems odd, since a little toaster oven seems like a simple fix for that), but apparently it was fantastic at room temperature anyway. Seating was absolutely full when we got there and we were lucky to snag a table as another couple left, so it seems like a popular Saturday morning spot. Several folks were working on laptops, and it seems like a kid-friendly place. I really appreciate to have roasters of this quality in my neighborhood! Coffee is like wine, the better the quality is, the less you need. I used to go through 4-5 Keurig pods every day, but I'm plenty fulfilled by 1-2 cups of coffee made from Tico's beans. So even though it seems like I'm paying more for coffee with Tico, I'm not. It's a smaller coffee shop, so seating is limited, but they have both indoor and outdoor seating, and the space is still really nice and inviting. The service was straight to the point. The staff didn't say much, but they were helpful and answered my questions when I needed them to. The coffee I ordered was perfect! I like my coffee strong and a little on the sweeter side, and they got it just right. But my absolute favorite thing to order is the chia seed pudding! I've come back many mornings just for that alone. The granola on top is my favorite part. If they sold that granola in the coffee shop, I'd probably buy it every week!
