I may joke a lot about some of my "not as motivated " coworkers, and how some days my office is more like Romper Room than an accounting department, but I actually do have some normal people that I work with. One in particular has exceptional taste in doctors and she has been kind enough to share a few of them with me. Thank you Courtney for referring me to the Sipertstein Dermatology Group~where I had the best experience. This office is on Glades, across from the FAU entrance. The building is set back from the road but it's easy to find and there is plenty of parking. Making the appointment was easy and the billing person took all of my insurance info over the phone. They had everything verified; so on the day of my appointment I had a minimal amount of paperwork to complete. The girls are friendly, professional and just really nice. They have Saturday hours once a month and I was lucky enough to get an appointment. The office is modern, tastefully decorated and immaculate. I was the first appointment of the day and I only waited about five minutes. My appointment was with Jeanelyn Berges, PA-C. I absolutely loved her. She was easy to talk to and patiently answered my questions. Although I only had two small skin tags removed, I still managed to think of lots of questions to ask. Not surprising right? Siperstein has another location on Hagen Ranch Road in Boynton Beach. From what I heard from the girls in the office, the Boynton office is gorgeous too. Both offices offer a "patient portal" so you have the ability to access your records, get lab results and communicate directly with the office via your computer. Initially I just walked in to make an appointment a week earlier and was impressed with how busy, friendly, polite and helpful the staff was at the front desk. NO EXCEPTIONS. I went to a different dermatologist and was not happy with the examination. I have malignant melanoma. That doctor spent 10 minutes on the exam. I was advised by a dermatologist to get a detailed exam. When I arrived at the office, I was given some papers to fill out. The front office staff are friendly and efficient. The waiting room had many people in it but I had only a five-minute wait. I was promptly brought to an examination room and went over my medical details with an assistant. The assistant was excellent. Next, I met with Dr. Anna Kurayev, or Dr. K as she seems to be called. The exam I got was the best I have ever had. The doctor made a thorough exam of my body. She listened to me and answered all of my questions. I was concerned about some spots on my body that have grown and are extremely itchy. The doctor prescribed a salve which started to work immediately. In one week the spots have shrunk and I no longer have any itch. I am very impressed by this office and highly recommend the practice. read more

The reviews speak for themselves, scheduling is horrible here and the front desk is anything but professional. I can't write a review based on my experience as an actual patient because as a new patient, I never got to see the doctor. I scheduled with Siperstein about a month in advance, rescheduling a trip in order to make the appointment. The day-of I get to the office and was told the doctor wasn't in that day. Never received text and never had a missed call/voicemail. When I asked why I wasn't notified they claimed they "tried". I got home after, checked my email and saw a message that said "please call us in regards to your visit" that was sent a few hours prior. Please don't waste the time of patients, if there is something as urgent as the doctor not showing up that day, YOU call us to let us know about the issue and reschedule. I've been coming for months to Siperstein for my laser hair removal and for the first few months it was a little annoying going in for treatments and not feeling like I was getting the results that I was looking for, but then 1 day last week I didn't need to go back I noticed looking in the mirror in the am before heading out to work, I went about with my day and came home later that evening and checked again and was start to feel amazing. It was like hair never existed. But I still had a feeling it was going to come back, and so far that's been 3 weeks and I'm clear like a baby's behind. I would not recommend Dr Anna Kurayev at Siperstein Dermotology for fillers due to her inexperience with placement for the desired results. I asked specifically when making my appointment for an experienced doctor, my results were below professional and experienced. Dr Kurayev and her assistant neither listened or understood anatomy. I paid for fillers to open up my eyes and I ended up with drooping puffy eyes and eye lids. 6 weeks later I can almost see my eyelids and I have lumps and puffiness over my brows. Adding insult to injury, I had this procedure done before a big birthday and vacation trip and upon returning to the office distraught before my trip , I was given Upeeq eye drops for Blepharoplasty "droopy eyelids" a condition I did not have prior to fillers. These drops cause eye pain, blurry vision and red eyes. My end result after hundreds of dollars with Siperstein was physical pain and mental anguish along with an eye condition caused by an inexperienced Dr. Kurayev at Siperstein Dermotology. read more

If you're in the market for a tummy tuck or Botox injection, this would be a good choice. But for those of us with sun-damaged aging skin, forget it. It's a commercial enterprise. Even after a year of regular visits, melanoma surgeries, many biopsies, I doubt that my dermatologist would recognize me on the street. She whips out her little magnifier and proceeds to burn and slice me as fast as she can, with a minimum of conversation. The pathology lab voice mail left me hanging for 2 days after leaving a message that the biopsy results were available. If you're looking for a compassionate, caring physician, you won't be happy here. read more

In General it was not a very good experience - I was dealing with an allergy to wheat and it had been manifesting itself mostly on my skin - these Doctors weren't able to make any headway even after 5-6 visits and several trips to a lab as well as biopsy's yielded zero results for me and in no way helped me come to a resolution to my issue. One young female Dr (Dr. Elizabeth Nestor, how could I forget?) in there was so arrogant and rude and dismissive of my pleas for some relief, I had no choice but to get up and walk out of the place. That was my last visit. I will never go back based on my experience there. These people are mainly focused on cosmetic BS. IF YOU ARE REALLY SICK, DO NOT VISIT THIS PROVIDER. They wont help you. Edit: Dr Dawes is good, I had no issues with her the 2 times I saw her. Today my husband had an appointment with Dr Meran at Siperstein Dermatology in Boca Raton, Florida I was given this appointment for him on the Friday before and although I live 5 minutes away from the Boynton Beach office we were willing to travel because there was a cancellation in Boca Raton at 9am on Monday morning, March 4th, and my husband who had a terrible rash on his extremities needed to be seen as soon as possible!!! When we arrived there we were told that the appointment had been cancelled I tried to explain to the young lady at the front desk that I NEVER!!!! cancelled that appointment but I had been given the appointment because someone else had cancelled and there was an opening!!! I immediately said yes and arrived expecting to be seen by Dr Meran We have been patients of hers for years!!!! This is NOT Dr Meran's fault, but the fault of a poorly trained staff!!!! We waited a half hour at this office and was then informed that she could fit us in a 12 noon!!!!! The young lady at the front desk was annoyed that I was so upset!!!! This practice has definitely gone in the wrong direction!!! We will definitely NOT use this practice again!!!!!!!! read more

Received a same day appt. I'm new to the area and was running a few min late. I called to see if I should reschedule. I was told it wouldn't be a problem, that the receptionist would just "let the nurse and doctor know". I arrived 7 minutes late, completed all the sign in requirements and was immediately escorted to a treatment room where the Med Assist completed my history and left saying the doctor will be in shortly. I waited 45min in the treatment room and when Dr. Heidi Gold came in, she "apologized" for the wait, but that she wanted to see "all the patients that arrived on time first". She repeated that comment 3 times, as though she was punishing me for my 7 min delay. I needed her expertise to confirm 2 areas of concern were benign. Which I got and it took her all of 3 minutes. Rude, rude, rude. Not sure if she is a good doctor, but she is clearly not someone I would recommend, no matter what her skills may be. I will not return. There are MANY qualified dermatologists to choose from that will treat patients with respect. read more

Not as things appear. The building is beautiful and you want to believe this is a great place. The fact is looks are deceiving. The scheduling is not easy, there are at least a dozen doctors working in the Boca office but with such sporadic days and hours it's very complicated to get care there. The two visits I did have were in consistent. First dr that I saw was not good. The second appointment was another Dr, of course, because this Dr does one thing and you need another Dr to do that thing and blah blah blah. But at any rate the second Dr seemed better, but not what I would expect from all the 5 star reviews. The next problem was the use of 3rd party labs for biopsy work. They send here and there and have no regard for if lab is in or out of your insurance network. They leave you holding the bag for lab work that insurance would have paid if they sent to the right lab. They never ask or give you any choice in the matter they just left it in the incapable hands of who knows..... so long story short I am left to believe that many of the 5 star reviews are fake. The reviews are like the office, they appear better than they are! Ohhh and while I am 100% behind women and minority owned business, I found it quite odd that there doesn't seem to be any Male doctors there or male employees at all there for that matter. That doesn't seem right in my book, women and or minority owned business is not a license to discriminate against a gender. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Elizabeth Nestor for several years and I could not be happier. I see her every 6 months for full body scans. She is thorough, attentive. She listens to your concerns and addresses them. She never rushes you but makes you feel like a valued patient while making eye contact with you at all time. The office staff is pleasant, friendly, professional and very efficient. By the way they schedule their appointments, you are seen on time or there is very little wait. My wife and I were patients here for maybe a couple years. We just went for annual checkups and the occasional skin oddity. There's always been two branches, one in Boca and one in Boynton on Woolbright Road, but recently Dr Siperstein built a new building out West and moved the Woolbright branch to Hagen Ranch Rd. Within the last few visits we started noticing problems. First my wife had some skin removed with their surgeon and it healed up awkward with scarring. I went after that and got treatment for some hives I had and it just got worse. I got a second opinion from another doctor and was told that what I was given would not help and that I should discontinue use. During the visit I also had a biopsy taken and it has since scarred up really bad. Most recently my wife tried to make some appointments and was told that there is a seven month wait to see Dr. Siperstein. We both prefer to see her as she is nice, professional, and has a confident, reassuring personality. What she was told is that other new doctors and nurses were available (newly brought on at the expanded location due to her increased customer base) and that the only way you could get an appointment within seven month's time was to see them. This sounded kinda odd so she called the other location and they instantly gave her an appointment with Dr. Siperstein in the near future. Basically, what I think they are doing is distributing appointments out to the other employees. I can understand that if there is no preference, but not when there is a special request. They could say something like I'm sorry we have to distribute appointments, instead of making up something about backlog. Out of the blue we got a letter from their office stating that they will no longer serve us as patients. Very odd with forthcoming appointments scheduled and no notification of any problem - only thing we can guess is that they are upset we got an earlier appointment. I don't recommend coming here, but if you choose to make sure to specify you will only see Dr. Siperstein, and then be prepared for a long wait or unexpected notice to find a new doctor. read more

I had an 8:45am appointment this morning for my teenage daughter but I arrived at 8am. The front desk lady receptionist appeared to be disheveled and unfriendly as if I was bothering her for arriving TOO EARLY. There was only 2 persons in the wait room at different times during our wait. I was expecting a more professional, pleasant and welcoming experience at the reception - that first impression. Besides that, my daughter and I was ushered into an exam room and the med tech was very professional, courteous and friendly. Dr. Gold arrived promptly without much of a wait. She was very thorough with her explanations about my daughter's skin issues, medications involved in treatment and what to expect. When finished, we were at the checkout desk and the staff was very friendly checking us out. Overall, I like the place. The place is very clean and looks brand new. It has a very modern and chic look with its all white decor. Staffs overall are very friendly and helpful. I understand this is a very difficult time to hire but front desk makes a lot of difference. I recently relocated to South Florida and started looking for a reputable Dermatologist since I have a history of melanoma. I was highly recommended to Siperstein Dermatology and was told they were the very best. When I called in for the appointment, the receptionist was very kind, professional and accommodating. She got me in within a few days. I was greeted warmly by the front desk and quickly escorted to the exam room. The medical assistant, Stephanie, was very polite and made me feel at ease. Dr. Meran came in and she was like a breath of fresh air, so sweet and kind. She took the time to review my history and reassured me that she would take great care of me. After a very thorough skin exam, she did a few biopsies, which all came back normal. She personally called to give me the biopsy results, which is unheard of.
