    Pizza Panini

What an absolute Ventura gem. They have it all - coffee, beer, wine, paninis, and snacks - perfect for any time of day. We found them a month ago and have managed to come here at least twice a week since then. Love their coffee. Really enjoy starting my day with one of their matchas, but they also make great shakeratos. Full espresso bar with plenty of options. Great curated local beers and wine. Delicious paninis. We've been on a mission to try them all, and our clear favorite is their pastrami. Bread both soft and crispy with the perfect amount of pastrami and cheese. Also really enjoy their pizza panini. If you're a grilled cheese fan, theirs is fire. Love the vibe. Super laid back, like you're coming in to visit friends. They also host fun events. We enjoyed their recent bubbles event where we got to try a nice sample of Prosecco, cava, and champagne. Overall, wonderful stop. Highly recommend stopping by for a good time.

SIPS has become one of my favorite spots to come too. Both owners, Katie and Brooks, are super sweet and I love their selection. Brooks even has my husband's favorite cider and my favorite beer on tap. It's a nice place to go do work in the morning to enjoy a nice cup of coffee or matcha with some Cafe Ficelle pastries and then stick around to enjoy some beer or wine and some of their snacks. They offer both inside seating and outdoor. Went in the AM one time with my dog and it was the perfect weather to sit outside and enjoy my matcha. I can't wait to go and enjoy their trivia night and take more friends with me.

Been eyeing this place for a hot minute because I keep seeing it pop up on my feed whenever I'm looking for a new coffee place. Finally took the plunge a few weeks ago, and I regret that I didn't take the plunge sooner. The place is really cozy, the service is great, and the owners are so friendly. The atmosphere here is so convivial that I'd come here even before knowing about the drinks and the food. Now lets get to the drinks. They serve Beacon Coffee, which is one of the best coffee roasters in Ventura. The first time I was here I got a picture perfect (and taste perfect) cortado. However, ever since coming here, my guilty little pleasure has been their Shakerato with a little bit of half and half - which isn't available anywhere else in Ventura. They have a generous selection of both wines and beers, and I can personally attest that the beer selection is well-curated. Most coffee places don't really have good food. However, the paninis here are so tasty and well-priced. Gourmet quality for a neighborhood cafe value. Lastly, they have lots of little fun events that we are for sure going to go to more. If you're looking for a unique coffee, wine, beer bar experience, then I highly recommend you come to SIPS.

~ COFFEE BY DAY, WINE & BEER BY NIGHT (or all day), SIPS IS THAT GEM ~ Sips Coffee Wine Beer is such a great neighborhood find and exactly what the east end of Ventura needed. The space is open, welcoming, and easy to hang in. With indoor and outdoor seating plus a big TV if youre catching a game! Drinks are the star here. I had an iced salted caramel latte and a vanilla caramel iced latte are both 10/10 (seriously so good!!), and seasonal drinks like the pumpkin patch latte are a hit too. Espresso runs until about 3pm, and after that it's all about the local beer taps, fridge gems, and a solid wine selection. Just a note they do serve alcohol in the AM too, mimosa anyone? Food-wise, the caprese panini (add the prosciutto!) was so delicious, I had to order another one to-go! Big shoutout Destiny for the friendly service and thoughtful touches (cute notes on the cups!). Briefly spoke to Brooks (one of the owners) and you can really feel the care and expertise behind this place. Definitely a new local favorite, can't wait to come back!!

Came for the Paninis, stayed for the vibes! The wait is over, SIPS is fully operational with their alcohol license. Yay. SIPS Coffee, Wine, Beer is one of the newest spots to hit Ventura, and it's everything I hoped it would be and more. By day, it's your go-to for lattes, coffee, and baked goods. By afternoon/night, it transforms into a cozy wine and beer bar...the best of both worlds. I'd been waiting for them to get their alcohol license, and once they did, I ran over for a little Monday fun day. The space is warm, inviting, and full of personality, think beautiful murals, cozy corners, and an easygoing atmosphere. You can grab a seat at the high-top bar to explore their rotating beer list or soak up some sunshine on the patio with a glass of wine and a light bite. I brought my partner in crime and we had a blast! The brother-sister duo behind SIPS, Brooks and Katie, are absolute gems, they are so warm and welcoming that it felt like we'd known them forever. Brooks is the mastermind behind the brews, and Katie knows her wine inside and out. We loved trying a variety of local beers and wines and learning about their selections. Snagged a few cans / collabs from local businesses like Beacon, Bright Spark, Rincon Brew and Balcom Cider. The menu is simple and delicious: they have paninis, charcuterie boards, and light bar snacks to pair with your drink of choice. I had the Caprese Panini with added prosciutto paired with a Rincon Oktoberfest beer...heavenly! And my mom went for an extra-3 cheese panini with a vanilla iced latte. She's a total latte connoisseur and said it was one of the best she's had in the county. Between the friendly faces, fantastic drinks, and cozy vibes, SIPS is definitely going into my regular rotation. Open six days a week (closed Tuesdays) -- don't sleep on this spot, Ventura! Welcome to the neighborhood friends :)

This is a great little gem! First of all big thank you to Brooks for making the first experience a great one! The setting is nice and wide open with seating outside and plenty of seats in side. Also don't forget they have a big TV to catch a football game. The espresso closes at 3pm so I'll definitely be back for some shots. The local taps are amazing! But they also have some hidden gems in the fridge. Definitely a new local favorite.

Stopped in on my Friday off in between errands. Love the space as there's tons of natural light. There is plenty of seating indoor and they have a nice patio. This area in Ventura needed this! My almond croissant was delicious and my coffee perfect . They use beacon coffee beans , so I never doubted I would love my coffee! I was so excited to support this spot - I've been waiting for them to open! They are still waiting for their liquor license so right now only coffee and teas for drinks.

Wow! What a cozy place to enjoy great drinks anytime of day! They have delicious hot beverages as well as wine and beer. I enjoyed their seasonal wine spritzer. It was delicious and I can't wait to enjoy next month's themed drink. Make sure to stop by and support this brother sister owner duo at Sips!

I got a salted caramel iced latte with almond milk, Caprese panini that comes with a side salad, and an almond croissant. All to go. Doesn't seem overwhelming but also has alternative options. Nice environment, friendly people, and tasty food. It all was good over 30 minutes later. Definitely a good spot. Very good flavors and pleasant place. Worth trying, in my opinion. They also have beers and wines. I think you can sit at the counter and at tables inside and out.

Super cute chill spot, stopped in for coffee and had me a treat! They offer beer and wine also this time had me a mocha latte, like nice to come work or hang out and chat, very polite staff and good service

A bright, clean and welcoming ambiance. Owner is very friendly and super welcoming. We appreciate hearing about how their establishment came to be. We only tried a few samplers and 2 dishes. Will have to return and try their coffee options. Definitely can see this becoming as a go-to-spot by many. Their Sangria tastes amazing!

Wow, what an amazing vibe and even better drinks! We ordered a vanilla caramel iced latte (10/10) might've been the best latte I've ever had, wife had a pumpkin patch latte which she absolutely loved. Destiny the barista was very nice and made our drinks quickly and even wrote a little note on each cup which made us smile. We also tried the blue mermaid protein bowl and that hit the spot. Excited to come back to try their other foods and the wife is excited to try their beers and wines. Had a chance and talk to the owners - Katie has a background of working in the wine industry for over a decade, her brother and co-owner Brooks has a background in beer. Super excited for the most amazing blend of expertise across the board. Highly recommend!!!!!

And we ordered the chefs charcuterie board. The charcuterie board was delicious! The bread was warm and obviously homemade. All the different cheeses tasted fresh and there were also candied walnuts which were fantastic. I was really impressed by their wine dispensers and how many varieties they had of different selections. I think overall we tried 4-6 different wines for less than $40. The ambiance of the inside reminds me a little bit of Squidwards house (but in a good way) with a high arched ceiling and classical decor. I would love to come back and try their other food and sample more wine.

Last December, a friend came across The Cave while looking for a place to have lunch in Ventura and…read moresuggested we give it a try. I'm really glad he did because it's the kind of place I probably wouldn't have found on my own. The first thing that caught our attention was the self-serve wine dispensers lined with bottles ready to sample. We had a lot of fun walking back and forth, looking over the different selections, and deciding what to taste next. Being able to sample wines by the ounce before committing to a full glass made the whole experience feel interactive. I especially liked that I could compare different Cabernet Sauvignons side by side, which isn't something you get to do very often. After trying a few different Cabernets, Chimney Rock ended up being my favorite. The dining room added to the experience. The cave-like ceilings, warm lighting, and comfortably spaced tables made it easy to settle in, enjoy our lunch, and catch up without feeling cramped or rushed. If you enjoy trying different wines, it's easy to lose track of time here. We started with a cheese plate, which turned out to be much more generous than I expected. It came with a nice assortment of cheeses, crisp apple slices, grapes, candied walnuts, crostini, and a savory relish on the side. It was a great dish to share with our wine. My friend ordered the tuna poke tower, and we shared the cheese flatbread and sweet potato fries. I went with the Original Cave Salad with salmon, which came with a generous piece of perfectly cooked salmon over fresh greens, apples, grapes, walnuts, and blue cheese. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were generous enough that we left completely satisfied. One thing I appreciated was that we never felt rushed. Lunch naturally turned into an afternoon of catching up, comparing notes on the different wines, and deciding which pours we wanted to try next. Before we left, we wandered through the wine shop one more time. If you discover a favorite during lunch, you can pick up a bottle before heading home, which is a nice touch. I'm really glad my friend found this place. The next time I'm in Ventura, it'll definitely be on my list again.

Two sisters (Elissa & Holly) married two brothers (Matt & Mike) and started this weekend project which has turned into quite a fun weekend escape. Elissa and her father, Walt, are usually manning the tasting room and are the most gracious hosts. It's a quaint, boutique winery and tasting room, which recently joined forces with the folks from Trois le Fou Winery. They each have their own tasting rooms, but they're joined and share a large production/barrel room area, which is also available for private events in addition to scheduled events and live music/comedy. They don't offer food, but you are welcome to bring in your own snacks/charcuterie. Parking is plentiful, as the business park is mostly closed on the weekends. WINES: Their wines change regularly, as they purchase their fruit from Paso Robles, Lodi, and San Antonio Valley, among other places. I think that their Sauvignon Blanc is a standard and we really enjoy it, but they also do a nice Sangiovese, Zinfandel, Malbec, Syrah, Petite Sirah, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Their "Speakeasy Wine Club" offers three levels of membership: "Blind Grape (6/yr)", "Bootlegger (12/yr)", and "Last Call (18/yr)", depending on the number of bottles you want per shipment/pick-up. Bottles currently run in the $38 - $50 range (before club member discounts). We love visiting the Lester Cellars family and highly recommend you stop in and check out their latest vintages. The service and wine are wonderful, and I'm betting you'll enjoy yourself as much as we do.
