I have used Sir Carpet for years..I think they have changed owners NOW THAT I AM READING THEIR BAD REVIEWS? My appointment was to be 11-1 and Tony showed up at 2p. I had a quoted special price of 3 rooms and a hall for $59. I only had 2 rooms and only the center of these rooms needed cleaning. I was told by Cheryl who had booked my appointment the max would be the $59 and I would get a deep cleaning since I only had 2 rooms. She said she would make a note on my order. I had pretreated and moved everything out of the way for them to do their cleaning. When Tony FINALLY arrived I was told that I needed a deep deep cleaning for $85 or I would not be happy with the results. I have my carpets cleaned every 4-6 months and although there were a few spots (which I pretreated) I was not going to pay over the $59 quoted price. He said I would not be happy and argued with me and I said if he was not going to make me happy..he could leave..and he did. What a waste of my time! I will never use Sir Carpet again and I suggest whoever is reading this that they DO NOT use them ever! ******The owner requested that I try them again and I once again requested DAVE (I requested him when I placed the order) who I have used 6-7 times before and he did a great job at the quoted price. They were fast and efficient. The carpet is old, so i didn't expect miracles. The only downside is the drying time, which is what it is, although the last room and hallway in front of it were extra wet, compared to the others. Those areas still weren't dry 8-1/2 hours later. read more

I'm writing a review to give technician George five stars and my highest recommendation. Renters left the Berber carpet in my nice condo filthy. I had the carpets cleaned once and was afraid that I was facing replacement. Decided to scrub the carpets some myself after the first cleaning left bad stains remaining. I scheduled with Sir Carpet and after a schedule mishap, they sent George to handle the cleaning. He did a pre-treatment and the carpet came out really good. He was polite, courteous, and efficient. I had Sir Carpet come out on 8/10 to clean and stretch my carpet. The master bedroom needed more stretching, but they did not have the right tool to do that on their visit. I thought I wasn't going to be able to have it redone before our move in next Saturday (8/24). Luckily, Cheryl was there to help and got me a weekend appointment this week. OK...second review. I called Sir Carpet to get a refund for the Groupon, since the tech gave me such a run around. The lady asked to make it up to me and sent out this AMAZING tech, OSCAR, the next day. My carpets were so beautiful. He even got out some sparkling nail polish that had spilled on the carpet! (I was resigned to live with glitter.). Every inch of the carpets were immaculately cleaned. He explained what he was doing almost too thoroughly. I was extremely satisfied with the work. I've since had one other company in to clean the carpets. We found Sir Carpet through a Groupon. Having used Groupons in the past for services, I'm usually a bit skeptical about pressure to "up-sell." After a slight glitch in scheduling, I met their tech Cameron at our new house. He was prompt and very courteous to let us know exactly when he'd arrive. We looked over the various rooms and he made sensible recommendations. I did not get the feeling that the Groupon was just a "loss leader" followed by a hard-sell. What Cameron told me made sense, and he went right to work. He was efficient, paid close attention to a few problem stains and when he was finished the carpet looked like new. I'm very happy with the service and will use them again. I also understand that if you mention Groupon when you call, they will give you that discount pricing direct from them. read more

Purchased 5 room groupon and only had them do 4 which should have made everyone happy. I felt like I landed in the cross-sell up-sale zone. Including at the final signature where I was asked to fill in "for his boss" if I was giving a tip. I already had tip in hand but now I felt pressured all of a sudden. The work was good, nothing spectacular but the experience was terrible and I couldn't wait for them to leave before they tried to sell me something else. As much as I love having a new puppy, I'm not as big a fan of the stains and fur that can come with one. Luckily, I found Sir Carpet. A good friend of mine used them once before and told me they were great for animal fur and accidents, so I figured I'd give them a try. Oh, how glad I am that I did! They were knowledgable and helpful, and I ended up scheduling an appointment for a few days later. They arrived on time, which was greatly impressive, and went right to work. The cleaners were really professional and efficient. I was home with my puppy (Stella), and they didn't seem bothered by that - they said "hi" to Stella, of course, but didn't waste any time petting/playing with her. That's good, because I know puppies can be distracting to some workers. I had them clean my carpet, upholstery, and air ducts, since those were the areas of my home Stella most affected. I'd had my carpets for years, and I have to say, they looked as good as new once Sir Carpet was done! I don't know what kind of cleaning fluid they put in those vacuums (attached to their trucks, believe it or not - really heavy duty stuff), but it works! They cleaned all 4 rooms in just a few hours, and moved all the furniture back where it was (with some help from me to make sure it was all correct). Then they cleaned the couches and the chairs that have padding in my living room, cleaning out all the dog hair I couldn't get out myself. They even got a bad stain out of one of the couch cushions. The last thing they did was clean the air ducts - I was surprised by just how much dust and dog hair was in there, clogging everything up. I've actually been breathing a bit easier since they came. I had a great experience with the Sir Carpet cleaning service, and will definitely be calling them back soon once Stella manages to dirty the place up again. I'll probably also be using their other services that I didn't need at the time, such as tile, car, and dryer cleaning. read more

We recently used Sir Carpet to clean the carpet in our rental home so we could get it ready to list it for sale. The carpets were so dirty, that we were seriously considering replacing them. Sir Carpet was able schedule a cleaning on Monday before Thanksgiving. Carpet technician Tony, was able to do 4 rooms in my home in a very timely manner. He Took the time to make sure the hoses would not scratch my walls or baseboards. Any liquid from the hose that was on my uncarpeted flooring, he made sure it was mopped up. There was a special for $85, my wife had located for their services. When reviewing their website for tile cleaning during the visit, I noticed they had the same special for $79. I do not like that they contract out their work. They just advertise and then do nothing but take a cut of the profit of the poor contracted company that actually shows up to do the work. Sir Carpet is a middle man. The price you are given from them will pretty much be doubled because if there is a spot it has to be "pretreated" so of course they suggest a per square foot charge on top of the amount already agreed upon. read more
