We called around to many locations pricing carpet cleaning for our new house. We found Wardlow's to be the most friendly, professional company with competitive prices that we called. From the first time we spoke to Jamie, with her incredibly sunny disposition & helpful demeanor, we felt confident and cared for which was lacking when we called competitors. Jamie was able to schedule our service out a week in advance, then was able to offer an even sooner date when someone cancelled. She called a day before the actual service for a reminder, which was incredibly courteous. For the actual service, Jamie again called the morning of to alert us that that Eric was en route. From there Eric arrived promptly when the appointment was scheduled and began working. He completed our 1900 square foot home in a time shorter than initially expected. The carpet looked and smelled immaculate. He was knowledgeable and informed us of proper care and maintenance of our carpet, which will undoubtedly come in handy as time goes by. I found this company through a great Living Social deal. I called and was able to schedule an appointment within the week. A last minute emergency came up and I had to leave around the scheduled appointment time. Instead of rescheduling, Eric was fine with coming in the house, doing all the cleaning, picking up his Living Social receipt and be on his merry way. I came home to a clean house with no chemical smell or soggy carpets. DId it make me nervous to have a new company in my home without me? Yes. But I read the hidden reviews on yelp which were pretty good, so I took a shot. Most Groupon and LS deals don't apply to stairs, but Eric did mine for $2 more each step which I thought was totally reasonable (not sure what the landings cost). While the company doesn't accept credit card (downside), he allowed me to send a check in the mail to him. I haven't had the best experience with in-home Groupon and LS deals, but I was very happy with my experience with Wardlow's. Wardlow's is a small, family-owned business and both husband and wife care about what they do and the people they help. Unfortunately, I forgot his name since it's been awhile, but this guy efficiently cleaned the carpets in our two-story house and he spent the time to show us how to get rid of spills and little marks before they become permanent stains in the future. He was honest and gave us all the pricing upfront. Call any of the other guys and you will easily get a run-around or encounter surprise fees when they actually show up at your front door. This is an update to our initial experience with Wardlow's last year... After such a great first experience we decided to try Wardlow's again, and again we weren't disappointed from start to finish. Both Jamie and Eric (Mr. and Mrs. Wardlow; it's a family business) remain unflinchingly professional and are always knowledgeable and helpful. Jamie kept me informed every step of the way so we knew exactly when to expect Eric and we could plan our day. They knew the gate codes and knew to call beforehand so we were well prepared with doggies in crates when they arrived. (I know this should be expected by all businesses but it NEVER HAPPENS, so I'm shocked and amazed they pulled it off). As our stairs took longer than usual to dry last time, we mentioned that and Eric took special pains to be extra careful on the stairs, including helpful hints to minimize stains in the future.
