I called on 8/16/24 for a free estimate to re-grout & seal the entire main level (approx 1700 sf), including master shower & bath surround. Nick Escobar came out 8/19/24 w/approx 2 hr presentation & very reasonable estimate. We agreed on terms, on a 2 day, 3-man project to begin 8/22/24 & completed on 8/23/24. Nikko & Kevin prepped & scrubbed all the tiles & grout while Ainier concentrated on the master bathroom shower, tub surround & flooring. They took great care to ensure they protected all my furnishings & kept me informed during each process. They were professional, respectful & very communicative. My gosh! If I could only leave a zero star review. Avoid this company at all costs. I flew to Tampa, hired movers to move my appliances and furniture only to have them call 25 minutes before they were supposed to show to cancel. An employee was sick. I still have not gotten my refund deposit. I challenged the deposit charge with Visa. Another tile company is showing up tomorrow for $300 less! I have never been so disappointed in a company. My wife and I are both cancer patients, and I am a Disable Veteran. We hired Sir Grout of Tampa to address a mildew and grout issue in our bathroom because this mold poses an immediate, serious threat to our compromised health. Time and reliability were critical factors in choosing your business. Sir Grout of Tampa breached our initial service agreement in the following ways: 1. Failure to Provide Agreed Staffing: We were explicitly promised that two employees would arrive to complete the job on the day of the appointment May 28, 2026 at 8:00 am. Sir Grout of Tampa failed to send the agreed-upon team. My notes have Kevin and Nico as workers. The worker that showed up told me that he could not do the work. 2. Unfair Pricing Escalation (Bait-and-Switch): When we contacted the General Manager Michael Miller regarding this staffing failure, he demanded an additional $2,000.00 over the originally agreed price to complete the work. We rightfully refused this sudden, egregious price increase and canceled the job due to your company's inability to fulfill the original terms. Retaining our deposit when this business failed to deliver the promised service--and then attempted to inflate the price by thousands of dollars--is completely unacceptable, unethical, and legally indefensible. My hand notes listed the priority for my quote. 1st Main Bathroom 2nd Upstairs bath grout 3rd half bath and everything else. I had my shower tile and grout cleaned, repaired and sealed yesterday, as well as the bathroom floor. The work was very well done and I'm happy with how it turned out, it looks like a new bathroom with how clean and new it is. My one issue is that the tech did not cover his shoes in my tub, which created a huge mess (that he tried to say was already there, which it was not and I had photos to prove it). Tim stepped in and took care of it immediately and made sure it was cleaned up and taken care of. I would still definitely use Sir Grout again as I am very happy with how it turned out. Sir Grout cleaned our tile and gave a great warranty. But they won't live up to that warranty. We have repeatedly called and complained that the grout cleaning and sealing is not holding and looks bad. After multiple complaints they sent a man out to inspect it. He agreed with us and informed us they switched the color of the sealer/cleaner and used a different one than we asked for. He promised they would make it good. That was over 6 weeks ago and the only call we got was when I threatened to post a negative review. They made more promises, and never called again. Nick Escobar, listed on their website as of today 12/5/24 stole my credit card! I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Sir Grout and my experience was frustrating to say the least. I am thoroughly disappointed with their follow through after the illegal incident that occurred. To see that Nick Escobar is still listed on the website as their General Manager is quite upsetting. In November, I called to schedule service and was told I needed to do that through the manager, Nick Escobar, who originally provided the quote. I reached out to Nick, gave him my credit card # for the deposit and my bank flagged it; he immediately used that number for fraudulent purchases. I contacted the main switchboard to express my concerns and was told that he was legit. The next day another manager, Kevin G. called to tell me that Nick in fact was no longer an employee and had not been employed for a few weeks! Two employees, confirmed with me that he was still employed by Sir Grout prior to all of this. I received a call from someone named Dana with an apology but seeing that he is still on their website makes me wonder if this company is a scam all together. Sir Grout needed to do better as a company to protect their clients and act a little more concerned than they did with us. Police report filed, bank account frozen, what a mess! read more

Overall had a great experience with Sir Grout. We met with Tim for our eval/estimate. We were looking to clean our shower and grout lines and give the shower a little refresh. Tim was very knowledgeable and had many options for grout/sealant colors. He was able to schedule the work around our schedules. Tanna came out to complete the work and did a great job! I would not recommend using this company. Although the workers that came to my house were very courteous and hardworking the supervisor/manager never bothered to come by my house or call me when I had an issue with the final charge after the service was completed. When it came to make the final payment, the final invoice did not properly reflect the down payment I made 2 weeks previously and the final payment included an upcharge that I did not agree with. I asked for the manager/supervisor named Kevin to give me a call to discuss but Kevin refused to call me or come by my house. Instead Kevin had the workers come back to my house to insist on the upcharge. Since I did not want to put the workers in the middle of the dispute I went ahead and paid the incorrect amount. I am strongly discouraging anyone looking to hire this company. Buyer beware. read more

The grout doesn't last more than 2 months (poor quality). Service is unresponsive to resolve the issue (neither the technician or managers). Very disappointed, they are not cheap, almost $900 for a shower: to only re-grout the floor, recolored the walls and seal it. Pictures look great after the job is done, don't get tricked because it won't last. read more

Very bad sales agents that lie in your face and tell you they don't care!!! I had an in-home presentation by Chuck, the sales manager. He wrote a contract to clean my saltillo tiles and color the grout. Once the tech arrived at my home he began cleaning the tiles. As he painted the grout, he noticed it was not drying and brought it to my attention. Turns out, My tiles were grouted with concrete, and Not traditional grout. After I called the company anonymously, I was told they DON'T color concrete grout. Then once I confronted the sales manager and the company with the discrepancy, they changed their story multiple times. This company is HORRIBLE!. I am thankful that I got my deposit back. But, I really felt bad for the technician. He was cleaning the color off my grout until 9PM using strong chemicals. This should NEVER have happened! The sales agent was dishonest and wasted my time in addition to causing the tech to do triple work! read more

Jim came out and assessed the repairs, and made some great recommendations on how to get my 12yr old condo looking new again. His quote was reasonable, but what impressed me most was his knowledge about the work. He described for me in detail what he recommended, which made me feel confident in his work, and assured the job would get done to my satisfaction. Nice people but make a huge mess of your baseboards and anything that meets the walls. Be prepared to either spend hours painting or hiring someone else to fix the mess of your home they will make. I am moving into a newly renovated house and they stated I HAD to have everything else done before they provided their service of tile cleaning and grout sealing... HUGE mistake. Horrible sloppy job and took us over 2 hours to repaint the base boards that we just paid a painter THOUSANDS of $$$$ to do! The owners response was so nonchalant about the mess they made. Extremely disappointed in this company! ONLY HIRE THEM IF YOU DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE MESS THEY WILL MAKE IN YOUR HOME! Great Price, excellent service. Charge by the area not by the hour, so they can do the job right. I used to hate mopping because of our ugly grout, but now mopping is a lot more fun, and I take more pride in doing a good job to make it last. I thought our floor was clean, just the grout was bad - but after they ran their special scrubber I was embarrassed at how much gunk was just down there. They made great suggestions on better quality cleaning products and sealers to use. I can seriously see a big difference on a daily basis. Thanks Hector for doing such a wonderful job and all your advice. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Some of the best customer service you can get , and that is getting more rare these days. Update 5/20/16: We had our bookshelves rebuilt, which exposed some old tile and grout, and Greg came out and made the old grout match the already upgraded grout. Awesome customer service.
